29/03/2024: Turned up on spec, no trouble to book a table after we had built a further appetite by climbing O'Rourke's Table...Food Glorious, Service fabulous, and top presentation. A wonderful meal.
10/03/2024: Dinner for two in March. Lamb shank was beautiful, could not be better.
Then the baked Alaska....Oh Lord.
Superb cuisine.

01/04/2024: Had a romantic getaway with my boyfriend here this past weekend. The rooms were comfy and the food in the restaurant is delicious! Can't beat the convenience of having dinner and a few pints and then walking upstairs to your room! Even though the pub got pretty busy know Friday night, we couldn't hear it once we were in our room. The breakfast room was cute and the Irish breakfast was delicious and very filling!

Was here for a stop while passing through.
Somehow you feel more like a nuisance but by no means welcome. Staff stands around looking at the TV and seems to be trying to ignore the guests.
In every other restaurant in Ireland the question was asked several times: is everything OK? Is something missing?... but not here. For example, I had to take care of the missing cutlery myself.
Food is OK but nothing special. Quite good in quality, but below average in terms of quantity. If I had known this beforehand, I would have driven a few meters further into town to find alternatives.
Conclusion:
If you are extremely hungry, why not. In all other cases it is better to find an alternative.

The apple tart served warm with cream and custard was delicious 😋
The coffees ☕️ were excellent.
The waiter was efficient and friendly.
Would recommend.
16/12/2023: The food wasn't very warm, 1 waiter to serve 16. The roast veg turned out to be 2 quarters of carrot and one piece of parsnip. We had to ask for vegetables and potatoes.
