Boardwalk Cafe in Carrick-on-shannon

Very nice menu, food was absolutely beautiful, service was 1st class very polite very attentive. Was just passing by but will be definitely back. Nothing to fault!

We had lunch here on a weekend and the food was fantastic! Very reasonably priced. Good staff as well! I really recommend! Toilets were also very clean which is a bonus.

We have eaten here quite a few times and the food is consistently fantastic and the service is normally very good too. On our most recent trip when it came to paying, I asked the waitress to round up the bill to include a tip as I was paying by card. She told me that she 'would like to let me know that waiting staff prefer to receive tips as cash because if its on a card they have to pay tax.' She said it was ok this time but she was letting me know for the future..... I can honestly say that this has never been said to me anywhere before. I've worked as a waitress myself and was always appreciative of tips, no matter how they were paid to me.

The food and service were excellent! We were very satisfied!

Slow service and dirty spoon seprised us. Hope it was just a mistake. Ice cream was good, but nobody cleaned our table after the other visitors. Almost 20 euro for such a service was definitely overpriced.
