11/09/2026: The staff here are so friendly and super helpful! They took the time to explain all the gluten-free options, which made dining here such a great experience. And I highly recommend the chicken wings. They were excellent!! The best wings ive ever had.

05/07/2026: I had looked forward to a good steak and nice experience at the restaurant based on most reviews. My spouse and I were disappointed. The chicken wings (Thai chili) were exceptional. Very crispy. The steaks , one a full sirloin and the other a sandwich were a little tough and nothing special. We had to ask for steak knives (which we needed). There were lots of fried onions and musrooms. My dessert, the cheese cake with ice cream and chocolate sauce was very good. There was music ( Sunday evening) which was very good yet it was too loud and make it difficult to talk with table mates. Service was ok, but it is disappointing to have to ask for a steak knife. But it was loud and that made it difficult to talk to the server. I wouldn't put this restaurant on my regular rotation.

05/09/2026: A Korean couple on long-term travel is exploring every corner of Ireland, and it was wonderful that this place was connected to a B&B. We wanted to drink Guinness because of the burden of driving, and here, we enjoyed a Guinness in a great atmosphere with friendly service. We had a truly filling and delicious meal of seasoned fried chicken and pasta. We would like to thank the chef once again for his consideration in adapting the lunch menu pasta to be vegetarian. I highly recommend this place to Korean travelers and other Asians as a great spot for Guinness, seasoned fried chicken, and pasta. It seems like a hidden gem in Ireland. We have created wonderful memories here. It seems like a place I will miss a lot when I return to Korea.

27/08/2026: We stopped there for dinner on the recommendation of our host, Michael. The atmosphere was charming and typically Irish. The staff was very friendly, and the lamb dish was absolutely delicious. We'd love to come back.

26/09/2026: I’m disappointed with how my experience was handled. I visited the restaurant last night and ordered scallops as a starter and seafood linguine as my main. Shortly afterwards, I became very unwell, experiencing nausea, a rash, a throbbing headache and feeling extremely hot, to the point that I had to leave. I contacted the restaurant simply to make them aware of what had happened, as I have never experienced a reaction like this before. The owner subsequently called me, but unfortunately I felt that my concerns were not really acknowledged. I was simply advised to go to the doctor to be tested for a shellfish allergy. I appreciate that a medical diagnosis is something for a doctor, and I am happy to follow that advice. However, I found the response disappointing, particularly as I have eaten shellfish on many occasions without any previous reaction and had ordered three different types of seafood that evening. I wasn't contacting the restaurant to make accusations or ask for compensation; I simply felt it was important to let them know what had happened so that they could be aware and, if appropriate, check the food and preparation. I’m sharing this review because I think how a restaurant responds when a customer reports becoming unwell is just as important as the meal itself. I hope the restaurant will take this feedback on board.

24/09/2026: A good Italian restaurant. There's room for improvement in the pizza preparation, as some of the pizzas we ordered had too much cheese. The ministron, caprese, and bruschetta were very good. The desserts are surely good too, although we could only judge them visually. The espresso and affogato were expertly made. The service staff should avoid touching the rims of glasses, cups, and carafes with their fingers, as that's where the customer drinks. The entire team, including the owner, was friendly, attentive, and very efficient.

12/07/2026: Despite being very busy when I arrived, the staff were extremely welcoming and quickly found me a table. The service was prompt and friendly throughout. I had the salmon, followed by a delicious homemade apple pie for dessert, and both were excellent. The atmosphere was warm and relaxed, making for a very enjoyable dining experience. I left very happy and would happily recommend

01/07/2026: A group of us went here last Friday for a leaving dinner. To say the food was outstanding from start to finish is an understatement. absolutely fabulous. Our waitress was Mairead and she was just top class. Couldn't do enough for us. She even brought a decorated Brownie plate out as a surprise for the girl that was going to her new job. Thanks again Mairead!!! In fact all the staff in Eight Degrees are super friendly & welcoming and fantastic at their jobs. Cant wait to return!

19/10/2026: Had food with my friends before we went out food was lovely. The manager was horrible the staff was really nice and one young lad gave us menus and water and was really friendly and polite and iv over heard the manager giveing out to him like he did something wrong and it looked like he was about to have a break dowen they need to treat there staff more better tbh i have 3 jobs and ik what its like to run a place but there is no need for screeming at the staff

08/06/2026: Toasty pub and restaurant. Decent food and friendly staff. Best in area, no, but grand. There was a screaming child making everyone uncomfortable. Staff should have stepped in and asked for him to be taken out for a bit while calming down.

31/05/2026: We stayed here for cowboys and hero’s in leitrim and we will be back! A massive thank you to Joe and Gerry who looked after us during our stay, such a lovely welcoming atmosphere, food was gorgeous rooms were lovely and clean. Highly recommend ☺️

11/10/2026: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolutely delicious food and a fantastic experience! We had a wonderful meal at Buffalo Boy! Our party enjoyed a selection of steaks, burgers, ribs and mac and cheese, and everything was absolutely delicious. The food was full of flavour, and the desserts were the perfect way to finish off a fantastic meal! We all loved it and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. We would definitely recommend Buffalo Boy and can’t wait to return!
