15/04/2026: Had a most pleasant experience visiting the Copper Still on Mothers day this year. We were returning from a trip to Enniskillen and had passed this premises on numerous occasions but were in a hurry home, luckily were had time to stop and check it out. We could see that it was quiet busy, given the day that it was , but on entering the restaurant/pub we were warmly greeted and a table was found to accommodate us very impressed as we hadn't made a booking and just walked in. My first impressions were that it was warm, clean and the staff we very friendly. We ordered a main which was served promptly and efficiently, I had the steak with onions and mushrooms and chips, my wife had battered fish of the day. All was served piping hot and freshly cooked, it was delicious to say the least. We both had deserts and coffee's and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. To sum it up, Great food served by dedicated friendly staff , management was ever present and directing this perfectly, warm and clean. I couldn't fault anything and would highly recommend a visit if you are passing and in fact we would book and drive back to it specially for the food. Well done all in the Copper still.

06/05/2026: We had a great experience here.. Staff super friendly. Atmosphere was super, tables not too close and could still chat even though it was busy . But the food, my god, I love italian and this was class. As a passer by in Carrick On Shannon do yourself a favour and try this place.. I said to my wife that thats how its done ✔️ Absolutely great experience and keep up the great work..

30/04/2026: I dont know what happened.We’ve eaten here 3 times since and its been really poor.We had hoped it was a one off but alas no.Friends have said the same…. Food was absolutely fab.Both of us had a different main and a different dessert.Couldnt fault any of it....I've has to edit this review.Wife said her dinner was one of the best she has ever had. Now with Covid they have being doing take away.I really recommend their fish pie. 2024…still fab

12/04/2026: The food was wonderful, really tasty and well presented. (the pork bite starter was a bit boring in comparison to all the other wonderful dishes, but well cooked and balanced). The atmosphere was great, we were close to the guitar player but the music wasn't intrusive at all, we enjoyed it. The staff were all friendly, efficient and had a good sense of humour. Love that they have a list of their staff members and suppliers in the menu. Great selection of local alcohol too.

29/03/2026: Once again, over and over again, day after day, there's just not enough stars for all these pubs, walked down to Smyth's last night for a feed, and " need I say anymore? just wonderful... great food, great staff, great beers, great locals,, " take a bow you guys... 👍🍀🍺😊

18/02/2026: Visited Sept 2025 and again recently Feb 2026 from Australia. Food and service is top notch. Best caesar salad I've ever tasted and I've have a few over my years. Staff friendly and warm, authentic Irish atmosphere. A must when visiting Ballinamore

06/05/2026: The food was decent, its a novel restaurant with the American style. The only major downside was I had intended to order a good steak, when we arrived on a Saturday evening, they advised they had no Waigu, and no Tomahawk which given they're the most expensive steaks was shocking they wouldnt have a steady supply, was ultimately forced to spend 40euro on a standard steak I could have made at home

06/04/2026: We had a wonderful meal at Buffalo Boy as usual . Staff are so friendly and service great . Verity of menu is a joy and although it’s not cheap is well worth the price . Thankyou and please keep going

06/05/2026: One of just a few eateries open on a Tuesday evening during a slightly off peak season. The BR Bistro is easily accessible for a wheelchair and the owner/floor manager was most accommodating and helpful. This is a family run business and the owners serve on a 'front line' system. They obviously take great pride in their business and the eating experience reflects their dedication. The steak selection for the evening was fillet and for me, cooked precisely to my liking. Declining the chips option I was served tastily prepared baby potatoes as a side dish. Perfect! My wife's Prawn dish c/w Spanish chorizo was equally enjoyed. The husband and wife team were charming, friendly and very helpful. Our bill came came to €44 per person including drinks which we consider good value these days for excellent fare and proper, personal service. We chose this restaurant for the evening partly because of the limited choice available on the off peak season. We wish now that we'd have found it sooner. We'll be back to Carrick on Shannon in the future though and the BR Bistro will be our number 1 choice when dining out.

17/05/2026: Fantastic experience at the brandywell The steak and chips were absolutely beautiful, the atmosphere was relaxing, and the whole place has a great feel to it. A special mention to gerry, the manager — an absolute gentleman. He went out of his way to help me when I desperately needed something printed on a Sunday, when everywhere else was closed. That level of kindness and customer service really stood out. The new staff were excellent too. I’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend!

14/10/2025: What a lovely pub! The atmosphere was lovely, there was music. Everything was clean. Service was quick. Lovely place for a drink after the show at the Island Theater. I was impressed from the outside and even more impressed when I got inside! We did not have food, I don't know if they serve food
