15/03/2025: Fantastic food, service and atmosphere, we will always return, I highly recommend

02/03/2025: There were 4 of us adults and two children. Everyone ordered different dishes. And to our surprise, we all hadn't eaten the worst food in a long time. The soup wasn't Chowder, but regular fish soup without cream or milk. The meat was so dry that it resembled a shoe. The burger with a huge uncooked patty was not tasty at all. For the first time, we left the establishment with a misunderstanding as to why we left so much money. After that, we went to Cake me away to at least have some delicious desserts. I don't recommend it!

22/02/2025: Fantastic quality of food and brilliant service here. The fillet steak is beautiful and always cooked to perfection. Gorgeous cocktails and good wine menu. Great vibe too.

12/02/2025: EXCELLENT * 10/10 * CAN'T WAIT TO RETURN * Had a table booked for party of five friends on Saturday eve. Arrived 20 mins early and were given a very friendly welcome by our server, Niamh. We were kindly led to a free table out front for drinks as our reserved table wasn't ready. Drinks menu is really extensive so we had a great selection. Had a great pint of Guinness and a G&T later. We were later invited to dine at the table where we were waiting/having drinks, if we wished and we decided to do so ( the atmosphere out front was warm and relaxing). Niamh did a great job explaining the menu and double-checked all our orders once we completed them. Food came out relatively quick and we were all very happy with it. Two of us had burgers and fries, two had small chicken caeser salads, and one had fish and chips. Couple sides of fries, and pepper sauce. All delicious, if I had to be picky and critique anything, I'd have liked the fries a little drier/more crispy. We got our bill afterwards and couldn't believe that for a main course plus 2 x drinks each, the price (including almost 20 euros tip), was only €36 each! Niamh kindly split the bill for us, and then explained all the local options for us to continue our evening in the local bars etc. Absolutely 10/10 service, friendly staff, excellent food l... would 100% recommend to friends. As the only Leitrim native in our group, and having not been out in Carrick in over a decade or two, I felt very proud of our county town and the fabulous dining experience we were given 💚💛 Well done Buffallo Boy!

08/03/2025: Delicious steak, wonderful pizza, delicious salad, wonderful dessert. Everything is very fast. The staff is very polite. Very pleasant, cozy atmosphere. I definitely recommend it.

24/02/2025: It's always great to experience great Italian food accompanied by beautiful Italian wine (and my gorgeous wife, of course), but what made the dining experience truely excellent was the care and attention provided by Ivan and his waiting staff. The restaurant is cosy and inviting, the aroma sets your stomach to rumble mode, the engaging and knowledgeable staff make you feel you've made the best decision with your food selection. Class. If you haven't eaten here, do yourself a favour and treat yourself to a wonderful dining experience. Many thanks Ivan and gang!

14/02/2025: Ordered the burger which was very poor. The food used to be very good here but €18 for a cheap quality burger served with frozen chips is taking the Micky.

04/03/2025: We had a delicious meal, flavourful and filling. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were friendly and helpful. You can sit inside where it's warm and welcoming, or outside in the shade. We will definitely be going back before we leave Ireland.

22/11/2024: Really friendly and helpful staff, good tasty and reasonably priced food in a comfortable and well designed bistro restaurant in the Main Street of the town. We were made welcome and seated quickly on a freezing cold night in this warm and cosy restaurant. The food arrived quickly and was well cooked and there was super attention to ensuring it was gluten free for one our party.

27/12/2024: Food was absolutely vile. The taco mince was so processed, it was like sand/dust. Horrible. Zero flavour on any food. All thrown in the bin

17/12/2024: My favorite place! Low prices and delicious food. There is delivery, everything is very fast and large portions. If you want to eat quickly, tasty and inexpensive, this is the place for you.

20/10/2024: It’s a long time since I had eaten here and I was hoping the food was as good as I remembered….we weren’t disappointed! The service was great - quick and friendly - and the menu had some good choices and a wide variety. Would recommend the homemade chicken curry and spaghetti bolognese in particular! I’m pleased that Cryan’s has maintained its high quality over many years and will be definitely going back there again when we next visit!

04/10/2024: I love this place - great location on the Shannon, the best staff, great sized rooms, and Cryans traditional pub out the back is full of character, with Trad music every week. Every time we visit the Republic (at least once a year), we stay here.

26/01/2025: We had the daily special baked fillet of cod. The meal came out fast and was delicious. We also had coffee cake and red velvet cake for dessert which were also delicious. The service and atmosphere were wonderful. We would highly recommend this fine restaurant

03/01/2025: Me and my friends went here for New years, bouncers on the door are too much asking for two forms of ID we are all in our 20’s btw checking our phones to prove our Id is ours.. ended up being overcrowded they just let anyone in especially all the younger crowds it was ridiculous.. my sister bag got robbed and no help from bar staff or the bouncers all so rude lucky she found her phone everything else had to be replaced. We rang up next day girl on phone was so rude… Dunnes needs better staff ! It turned me off going there again which I have been before … next time we will go to another pub. Dunnes has definitely gone downhill pity as it was a good spot not anymore. Would not recommend 👎🏻👎🏻

10/02/2025: 5 star hospitality and service. Everything perfect, a traditional Irish pub serving top class food. Warm and friendly atmosphere with that personal touch. Thank you. Will be back for more, especially for those creamy pints of Guinness. Keep up the good work.

09/11/2024: Stopped for a meal on the way home. It was our first visit and we will become regulars for sure. Very warm and welcoming pub with homely food, great atmosphere. Picked the special of the day, which was grilled pork steak and it was absolutely delicious. Guinness the best in Leitrim so far. Staff very accommodating and attentive. Great spot!
