A special mention to Mr. Gabriel, who was a fantastic host. We had a great conversation about Ballinamore, the bar itself, and the World Cup, which made the visit even more memorable. He’s an absolute gem of a person and a great ambassador for local hospitality.
As a traveller, experiences like this stay with you long after you’ve left. I loved the vibe of the bar and the genuine friendliness that made me feel right at home. If you’re passing through Ballinamore, Prios Sports Bar is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended! 🍻

29/11/2025: It was very quiet,this was a Thursday night. A handful of people at the bar. It has dance ,rap,hip hop playing,a modern pub,probably buzzing with young people at the weekend.

14/01/2026: Dropped in to Hotel for lunch my first time in Balinamore I wanted to explore the town but it started to rain 🌧 will go back again
29/10/2025: Stopped here for food as we out abd about walking in the area , absolutely great place, friendly staff and customers, very very good pint of Guinness (and Im fussy when it comes to Guinness), we ordered 2x fish and chips, texan style burger meal and a roast type meal, all were cooked perfect, generous portions and extra chips brought to us at no cost. And the price is very reasonable too. Will definitely be back when next in the area.
