14/10/2025: What a lovely pub! The atmosphere was lovely, there was music. Everything was clean. Service was quick. Lovely place for a drink after the show at the Island Theater. I was impressed from the outside and even more impressed when I got inside! We did not have food, I don't know if they serve food

28/12/2025: After reading the reviews we both got the "steak" beef koftas. To our disappointment, it tasted like cheap processed burger meat. It was edible and we finished it all since we were hungry, but definitely not worth the 23€. Nice service and staff, but I can't call the food tasty.

15/12/2025: Flynns is a very nice local pub in Carrick-On-Shannon. We have been there a few times. Recently we watched a rugby test there, SA vs Ireland. The place was full and the atmosphere was grand!

20/11/2025: The last place you can get food without breaking the bank! The food is fresh and delicious, the staff are always lovely.

04/11/2025: Always a pleasure. Fab freshly baked cakes , breads, meat and salads selection. Sit upstairs nice and cosy or outside when weather permits.

20/08/2025: We popped in randomly for dinner last night and oh my god!!! The food was incredible, and for the price it's amazing value, the staff were so friendly and attentive.

31/12/2025: Good evening fellow bushers, My friend and I stayed in the Bush on the 30/12/25. We originally had an apartment booked for 6 but only two of us could make it on the day. They were understanding and could not issue a refund as we booked through booking.com. However, they granted us a compensatory breakfast for the inconvenience (which we badly needed from the night out 😂). Overall, the stay was lovely. Beds were comfortable, and both receptionists were lovely. The food was amazing shout out to the chefs - bit pricey- but alas we move. Finally, the young bar man (Jon Joe) was very attentive and friendly…made the bar an inclusive warm environment. Finally, I would like to thank the manager for assuring everything was okay the following morning, I willl definitely be returning, Regards Luke. . Happy new Year bush 🎉

04/12/2025: Great location, easy to find. There was lots of space to mingle before a full sit down meal. Lovely friendly atmosphere and the food was exceptional. There was 35 of us everything was delivered on time. Hot, tasty food served with lots of smiles. The staff went over and beyond. we were in a private room. I would highly recommend The Brandywell for any occasion. Thank you Gerry & team

16/11/2025: I don’t really have enough good words for The Brandywell!! I work in weddings, and have been waiting for the chance to work near here again, as it’s not my first time. From the warmth and kindness of Jo, to the food, to the warm and cosy room (I’m a bad sleeper, and slept through my alarm), it’s just an amazing experience!! I love this place, and can’t wait to stay again!! I haven’t even checked out yet, and had to write this again!! Fantastic 💜💜

01/09/2025: Food is not as good as it used to be. Waiters hadn't a notion what they were doing or what they were even serving. Restaurant was freezing. Come'on guys get your act together, that restaurant is a beautiful spot and it could be amazing!

01/07/2025: Saloon was closed when we went on Tuesday so we don't know what it's like but otherwise the equestrian center and lesson was class. Great experience!

08/11/2025: Typical supermac, handy for late eating since they are open till 11 am. Same menu as any other supermac anywhere else in Ireland. Decent atmosphere. 3 star for service is because somehow they always manage to mess up my order

08/11/2025: Food and staff are amazing i order almost every week never hadan issue, food always arrives on time,and the delivery guys are so lovely. Definitely recommend supermacs carrick on shannon every time.
