Flynns is a very nice local pub in Carrick-On-Shannon. We have been there a few times. Recently we watched a rugby test there, SA vs Ireland. The place was full and the atmosphere was grand!

Great pub with excellent food. I went there twice on vacation for the spicy chicken sandwich. The service is very friendly and fast. When the place is full, which it is already in the early evening, it gets quite loud.

The Landmark Hotel - Carrick on Shannon

08/04/2026: I just had a lovely lunch in Aromas. The waitress Rosie and Aaron were so pleasant and helpful. The food was greatly improved but the excellent service and friendly staff turned our lunch into a 5 star experience
08/04/2026: We had a lovely 2 night stay at the Landmark. The family room was spacious. Lunch was lovely and there were plenty of options on the menu. The barman was very pleasant and kept our boy entertained with some magic tricks. The cocktails were great too. Breakfast was good but there was no pastries available on either morning. We would definitely return
