19/10/2024: Gay and his fantastic staff are always there to serve you. They serve great food, and the prices are good too. Definitely worth a visit!

13/02/2025: Well me and me Welsh pal arrived after a four hour hike up n back the stairway to heaven to be greeted by the finest Bar maidens I've ever met. Local legends arrived at the bar and were poured pints without asking. The Rugby played and England lost. Met a random asking me to go to Sligo with a drink bought and then the one of the barmaids sang without thinking....I wish I was still there n had me guitar. A fine place to be. The following day we did another hike n went back for food. One of the tastiest cooked all day breakfasts I've had.

09/03/2025: Had a lamb biryani from this Indian restaurant, and it wasn’t too bad at all. The portion was spot on, plenty to fill you up. The staff were sound, and the location is really handy. Worth a visit!

02/01/2025: The restaurant and staff were very nice and service was very good. The mixed meat grill was excellent. I ordered the chicken korma but I found it very bland, all I could taste really was cream, no spices. The side order of curry sauce was also bland, more like a tomato based sauce, but no curry flavor. I would go back again though and try another dish.

22/01/2025: Great place in Carrick to have a coffee and a cake. They have lots of cakes all the time! Great selection for all public. I will give a 5, but prices are getting a bit high for Carrick!

16/01/2025: I decided to try this place as I've seen it a few times while drive by. We decided to try the pizzas. Honestly, I was disappointed. The toppings should have been more and the edges of the pizza was burnt. The cost of the pizza Vs value was disproportionate. Perhaps I visited on an off day....

07/03/2025: I recently went for a business dinner with my partner and had a very disappointing experience. I ordered ham, bacon, and cabbage, expecting it to be served with a traditional white sauce. Instead, it was covered in a gray sauce, and I was never asked if this was okay. When I requested a change, they refused, saying they couldn’t replace it because I had already touched the dish—even the second chef and the server refused to help. The service was unprofessional, and the staff showed no interest in making things right. The restaurant was completely empty, including the bar and lounge, which speaks volumes. Rather than argue, we just paid the €44 bill and left. Given this poor experience, I won’t be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else. It’s no surprise the place is up for sale. Stay well clear!

18/10/2024: I've been to about 6 different Apache Pizzas across Ireland and the one in Carrick on Shannon has to be my favourite. It was a tough call since Tobercurry Apache pizza is newly opened this year but a close second to Carrick on Shannon? Carrick on Shannon Apache pizza you can expect yummy food quickly made by pleasant staff and the most delicious spice bag ever. It's just something about how they grill the peppers and onions Before adding the chopped chicken pieces, delicious highly recommend.
