26/10/2024: Booked a table. Arrived nothing available. Waited while they basically apologised but made no effort. Left had I not turned up for a booking I would have been guilty
30/07/2024: stayed in a tent in the campsite. The location is lovely and picturesque. Bar is on-site and large covered patio is somewhere to go if it rains. Clean toilets and shower area.
The negatives are that there was no one 'in charge'. Children shouting and making noise at 12 oclock at night. No kitchen facilities only a sink, not even a fridge. Site is quite wet, even in July. This is more suited for caravans/motor homes.

22/05/2025: AMAZING. True Texas BBQ on the weekend. The brisket, turkey, and ribs were just like being in Texas USA. Brisket was so tender no knife was needed. The turkey was tender and full of flavor without being dry. And the ribs…. Ribs- no words describe the wonderfulness of these. Comes with Mac-n-cheese, house pickles, onions, and a tortilla.
I will definitely be back for more the next trip.
14/04/2025: For those of you that love authentic Texas BBQ this is unreal. Tony even gave us a wee tour (the only proper #TexasBBQ smoker on the island) and some free Turkey which was unlike any turkey I’ve ever experienced. Yum. 5 stars.

07/01/2025: I ate here with my family a few months ago and kept coming back for a take away. Absolutely beautiful food . One time the order was wrong with delivery and they obliged me by correcting it with no fuss.
(It happens) Extremely professional and they treat you personally too. Very clean and welcoming. Beautiful place to eat out or take away. ♥

08/05/2025: Such an amazing place to get food, we got our food so fast and the staff was friendly and the food is delicious and the portions are massive! Highly recommended.They also gave us prawn crackers!
15/04/2025: BEST CHINESE RESTAURANT EVER
Owner was so nice and welcoming and treated us like family and explained the menu perfectly.
The decor and seating were beautiful and the music added to the warm atmosphere.
If you're craving authentic flavourful Chinese food this is the place to go.
He gave us free bubble tea and meal.
The food was delicious and flavourful with great portions and price.
The beef was so soft and the passion fruit bubble tea was amazing.
Definitely would come again and I recommend to all.

23/04/2025: Came across this place while out walking around the tow on a recent visit.
Arrived just before 6pm and the food finished at 6 so we did not bother to eat and they were wrapping up in the kitchen.
The pub has seen better days and could do with a revamp, particularly the outdoor area.
Reasonably priced drinks.
Would not visit again.

24/08/2024: Every order I made here was wrong or something missing, they actually owe me a dish that I can't be bothered ordering because they never get it right. The food is a little bland and seems expensive compared to other takeaways. I never feel I got value for my money.
