23/08/2025: Today me and my partner went to this restaurant. We weren’t greeted and stood awkwardly near the till for the first 5 minutes. A server then told us we could order at the till and then find our own seats. She then indicated to a stack of menus and waited for us to order. My partner ordered a crepe and was told they couldn’t do crepes with no reasoning, at which point she ordered pancakes. Once we ordered all of the available tables and seats either had dirt/food on them or had previous customers plates and cups on them. Once we picked our seat we received our coffees, which were nice and one of the food items we ordered. This was a tuna sandwhich which for 7.50€ was tiny and far from substantial. My partner was offered 2 or 4 pancakes and selected 2 as we assumed they would be reasonably substantial. We were incorrect and were served two of the tiniest pancakes with a scatter of bacon. We left disappointed and hungry, we went to McDonald’s afterwards as we were still starved.

02/08/2025: Came here the other day with our children and to meet up with a good friend...We decided to go for the specials board as definitely was value for money ...Big portions and very tasty...all the dishes were home cooked and the family and service was top quality... Definitely would recommend you call in here .lovely place ....

02/08/2025: Came here on Thursday for lunch with my kids to catch up with a good friend...Very impressed with the style of this place and all the meals are traditional and all home cooked ...it's a family run establishment very friendly and cosy settling....I would recommend folk come here for a traditional meal either with friends or family ....Top quality

02/11/2025: Just got delivered a 'pizza' and chips. Chips are undercooked and pizza is overcooked and dry. Its meant to be a cheese pizza but all I can taste is bread and burn. Worst pizza I've ever had in my life 😖 never order here again....

01/11/2025: It’s a pity you can’t give zero star reviews on this, because if you could I would… hands down the worst takeaway I’ve ever had. Food was horrible no flavour my burger was flat and burnt rock hard that's the bread🤮🤢

02/10/2025: The nasi goreng was just ok. Didn't have much flavour off it. The house special curry went down well. The interior is lovely. It was very quiet on a Sunday evening. Staff were pleasant.

20/09/2025: Wouldn’t rate this Chinese at all. Sauces are absolutely tasteless and watered down to the last. By the time I’d got the beef from the tray to my mouth the sauce had ran off the meat. Spice bag seasoning is quite clearly McDonnells or something similar and you’d near swear it was done in an air fryer. Don’t bother with this place go elsewhere.

13/09/2025: Lovely local pub/restaurant with friendly service and fresh food/creamy pints. The owner, Henry, is particularly friendly - a must visit in Drumshanbo!
