David's Traditional Takeaway in Carrick-on-shannon

I couldn't fault this place. Spotless and great staff. I'd the €25 steak offer and honestly it was delicious. I'd spot there again on my journey home.

Myself and my partner had a steak dinner with all the trimmings home made chips ,mushrooms baby tomatoes caramelised onions ,pleantyfull bounty I would rather it 5 star exelant

Always call in here for a few meals when visiting (regular visitors to Carrick) The place is spotless, food delicious + piping hot, great service + friendly staff. 5 stars all round.

They do a phenomenal chicken fillet burger. So good I went back the next day and ordered it again!

A really nice chipper, plenty of seating inside, the fish and chips was delicious and the Taco chips, batterd sausage and chicken kebab wrap we're also top quality, I'd definitely be back next time in in the area

This is absolutely the cleanest place I've been to in Ireland. I build stores for a living, shop fit you call it over here. I look around everywhere I go and nothing was out of place. everything was spotless, the diffusers in the ceiling didn't have any dust or grime on them. the little 3/4 inch strip on top of the wall that is always was clean. all the places where cleaning staff generally overlook because they're lazy where spotless. this place was amazing. I mean I wouldn't eat off the floor anywhere but this place would come close. the food was pretty good too I was just amazed at the cleanliness. I asked if they had renovated recently as that could make a difference. but no everything in there was five years old. so that speaks volumes as to the cleanliness of the place. I can't go on about it enough.

We had a group of seven, five adults and two kids at a local takeaway spot. The kids enjoyed chicken goujons and chips, while the adults all got the big portion of fish and chips. It was a massive, delicious meal—really top-quality food!
