The best restaurants in Leitrim

02/08/2026: This place has really fresh and tasty food and I normally get a bag of chips or pizza here every 2 weeks and there’s this woman normally at the counter and she’s really friendly!

06/08/2026: Overall, this is a lovely place to visit but there’s some missed opportunities: The items in the shop are very expensive - as a family with 3 kids we are the target audience but nothing is enough value for money to buy anything (eg a non branded sheep for €16.60 - if this was a Jellycat for €25 you might do it). Maybe other tourists are buying but I’m not sure. A farm shop section would be amazing too - bread, milk, local produce. Secondly, when we visited, it’s mostly families or people with an older demographic but the music they’ve got on is 00’s pop, dance and rnb. It just doesn’t cater to this audience whatsoever and creates a busy, hurried vibe. It needs more chilled out, folk and ballads that are more in-keeping with the stunning surroundings. Finally, they’ve got a wasp problem which is really annoying. They could easily get some wasp traps. We’d have stayed longer if not for this. Otherwise, it’s definitely worth a visit and the staff themselves are lovely and helpful.

10/07/2026: We were passing through and didn't stop, but we would have liked to because the place is super beautiful 🤩 there's a sauna, a playground, mountains, a lake, a forest with a waterfall, it's perfect 10/10

12/07/2026: Myself and The Wife stayed in carrick court apartments 24th june til 27th and we both agree that the Staff in Tipsy Tailors were fantastic every day evening we popped in unreal they all are best spot in carrick to have a pint 100% we be back we also had our springer shelby with us and they were brilliant with her also great crew and thanks we see you again soon deffo best pub

17/07/2026: I've no words... I love my food, but WOW!!! If ever there was a restaurant to serve heaven on a plate this is it. Wasn't sure what I wanted to eat, seen this spot in Carrick and from the moment I opened the door, just amazing, so fresh and clean all round, very friendly staff. Will definitely be back again

29/07/2026: Love dropping in to this cafe for a flat white and croissant after kayaking on the Shannon. Excellent coffee roasted locally and I love the new interior design 🙌

25/07/2026: The best mocha I've had in years. Made from real high quality chocolate and their own roasted coffee. Very little sweetness, incredibly complex. Perfection.

23/03/2026: Great stay at Kilbrackan Arms Hotel! The room was very comfortable. We enjoyed Guinness and pizza the night before in a lovely, typical Irish pub atmosphere. Breakfast pancakes were delicious, and the staff were very friendly. Overall, a great experience!

07/07/2026: The Kinlough Inn is easily one of the best Chinese takeaways I've had in Ireland. The food is always fresh, full of flavour, and the portions are incredibly generous. Every dish is cooked to perfection, with crispy starters, delicious sauces, and consistently high quality. The staff are warm, welcoming, and provide excellent service every time. It's clear they take pride in both their food and their customers. If you're anywhere near Kinlough, this place is an absolute must. Highly recommended and I'll definitely be back!

31/01/2026: I would like to raise a complaint regarding a young male staff member who was working behind the bar on Wednesday the 28th January. I found him to be rude and ignorant ,which made the experience unpleasant.

04/08/2026: Kids liked the burgers but chips were bland and the chicken strips dry. There were so many house flies about the place we decided to takeaway and bring the food back to our holiday home.

04/08/2026: We booked a cocktail-making class for a hen party, and it was absolutely brilliant! The bartender was amazing so friendly, fun, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. We also booked the boozy boat cruise through Foxy Hen, and the vibes were incredible. The shuttle bus took us from the bar to the boat and then back to the bar afterwards, which made everything so easy and stress-free. We had such a great time from start to finish and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a hen party or group celebration!

08/07/2026: We would highly recommend this bar. We stayed in the town for 2 nights recently & visited both nights. We had finger food the first night & a two course meal the second night. Food was delicious. Staff very friendly. Service good. Atmosphere was so fun.

27/08/2025: The lobby and outside are both nice with a wide selection of movie snacks and the nachos were very good but the screen rooms themselves feel old with torn up and stained seats but that's my only complaint, I will come back
