The best restaurants in Leitrim

18/03/2025: Avoid at all cost! Ex manager Adrian still thinks he runs the place and is on a power trip... Got kicked out for being "too loud and rowdy" on the 17th March (St. Patrick's Day) while the place was full of underage "teens" getting served without being asked ID (majority are 16-17yo, known by me and members of staff) while 'Sir' Adrian was on a power trip singling me out. Never did I have an issue with this Franchise/Pub(bar) until "Master Adrian" took over. Please, WE ASK FOR THE REMOVAL OF ADRIAN from the Carrick-on-Shannon Premises ASAP if possible. Further issues to be reported (including inappropriate comments and abuse of power) with potential legal action. ADRIAN MUST GO!

18/02/2025: Ordered falafel wrap. Very disappointed as the 2 falafel balls were still whole in the wrap and not spread or sliced in the wrap so most bites contained mostly pickled red onion and rocket leaves. One falafel was at one end of wrap and second was in middle of wrap where it was halved. Left half of the wrap as didn't want just leaf and onions. Please spread out the main filling. Wrap, fries and tea just over €16. Expensive for a wrap, 2 falafel balls with some rocket, pickle, hummos, oven chips and tea. Wouldn't order this again. Wish I had ordered a burger 😒

23/09/2024: Just returned home after a stag weekend in Glancys accommodation in Carrick on Shannon. We had 23 guests and I would definitely recommend staying here for your stag/hen party. The accommodation was clean, loads of parking, plenty of space for all of our guests, showers all worked perfectly and the location is a short walking distance to the Main Street. Jim organises someone to work as security on the complex until 5am so there is no messing about and they ensured everyone got home safe by giving us a card to call if we ever got in any bother while out on the town which is a class touch. Glancys sports bar directly across the road from the accommodation is a great spot with a cracking breakfast/food and outdoor beer garden, pool table and I would like to thank Jim and the team for their hospitality the weekend was class thanks from myself and all of our guests.

09/03/2025: It was so bad to wait a half an hour for a take away Americano coffee and had to remind the stuff that I'm still waiting.... maybe the customers who pay much more money for an expensive meal are treat way better way...
