Ok had eat here last year passing through. We were very happy with the meal However stopped recently disappointed We had portion of garlic mushrooms and onion rings both were way overcooked that all was left was hard batter nothing inside at all I had a meat kebab,well plenty of veg but very little donar meat,need to put plenty of meat in So because of this I have to try and help Maybe because only one person working and three large orders come n at the same time. Quality wins the day at all times Will give it a try again,hope it is better

21/09/2026: Great pub made feel welcome lovely staff we loved good parking for campervans 5 minutes walk up from the marina
21/09/2026: Visited with a group of 10 on 21/09/2026 circa 14:45. Food was very good. Service was courteous and efficient. Very nice ambience. None of the 10 of us had any complaints about anything. Highly recommend you eat there. The village lacks much character but there are a large number of lovely modern houses and despite the fact that I saw no bins, the village was spotlessly clean. No litter anywhere. Oh joy! Beside the Shannon, and the harbour is lovely with very clean public toilets. Highly recommend a visit to the village and the railway museum.

The Brandywell Bar And Restaurant

08/06/2026: Toasty pub and restaurant. Decent food and friendly staff. Best in area, no, but grand. There was a screaming child making everyone uncomfortable. Staff should have stepped in and asked for him to be taken out for a bit while calming down.
31/05/2026: We stayed here for cowboys and hero’s in leitrim and we will be back! A massive thank you to Joe and Gerry who looked after us during our stay, such a lovely welcoming atmosphere, food was gorgeous rooms were lovely and clean. Highly recommend ☺️
