Murtagh's in Carrick-on-shannon

We booked a cocktail-making class for a hen party, and it was absolutely brilliant! The bartender was amazing so friendly, fun, and made the whole experience really enjoyable. We also booked the boozy boat cruise through Foxy Hen, and the vibes were incredible. The shuttle bus took us from the bar to the boat and then back to the bar afterwards, which made everything so easy and stress-free. We had such a great time from start to finish and would highly recommend it to anyone planning a hen party or group celebration!

We would highly recommend this bar. We stayed in the town for 2 nights recently & visited both nights. We had finger food the first night & a two course meal the second night. Food was delicious. Staff very friendly. Service good. Atmosphere was so fun.

Nice atmosphere and music overall, but our experience wasn’t the best. The crowd was a bit chaotic with people constantly bumping into others and security didn’t seem too bothered. People were also bringing drinks onto the dance floor despite signs saying not to. The most disappointing part was that we had a reserved table for 10pm but couldn’t actually get it until around midnight. Overall not terrible, but definitely not as organised as expected.

A large group of us descended into carrick on Saturday lunch time and straight into murtaghs,from the get go u just knew the crack was going to be mighty,we had a package with them accommodating 33 lads feeding them an keeping them hydrated an none of the above was a problem, food was delicious,accommodation was perfect,great night Saturday night,an then came Sunday morning the staff in the bar couldn't of been more accommodating to us an believe me we weren't a quiet bunch but they couldn't get enough of us,both Yasmine and Agris were class as were all the staff,id say if Agris had a bus he'd of brought us all home,thinking of going to carrick for a lively weekend its the spot to go👌👌👌👌

I loved it! Great music, a fantastic atmosphere, beautifully decorated, and even though it was packed, the service was excellent and fast. I only stayed if I had to work this afternoon!

Huge thanks to Treacy in the office who was so kind in finding and posting a jacket I had forgotten. Our group had a great time all the staff were great, friendly and helpful.
