What a mad house on a bank holiday weekend. Great band playing on way in. But with the boom boom coming from the disco at the rear they were impossible to hear. Lots of very drunk people about at 8 in the evening. Would not like to be here at 11pm really a place for the stags hens and young people.

We only had drinks there and received excellent service. It's recommended to go between Thursday and Sunday. In the back, there's a fantastic bar (a must-see) with live music.

Really great bar with a brilliant atmosphere and very friendly staff. Nice place to go for a few drinks, relax and enjoy the evening. The whole place had a really good vibe and we had a great time there overall. Definitely somewhere we’d happily go back to again.

Coming from a long time publican this is a kind of real bar that is hard to find. The Guinness is great. If you want a traditional style pub you can't ask for more much more.

26/09/2026: This was so good! Today I tried the Rice Bowl which was bursting with flavour! Huge Portion! Full of colour and texture -absolutely delicious! 😃 I was sad I couldn't get the chickpea bowl but breakfast had finished so that's understandable! The Rice Bowl definitely made up for it🍜
22/09/2026: Beautiful venue - spacious, funky, clean and comfortable, ideal for long breakfast and chat with old friend. Free parking which is handy. Great service - courteous and efficient. Food was nice but room for improvement - especially the eggs royale. Eggs were perfectly poached, large portion of smoke trout (nearly too much). Another slice of bread and some greenery/salad will elevate this dish. Cappuccino also needs improvement - too foamy, and taste more like milky coffee with lots of foam topping. Will return to try the lunch.
