Turned up on spec, no trouble to book a table after we had built a further appetite by climbing O'Rourke's Table...Food Glorious, Service fabulous, and top presentation. A wonderful meal.

Dinner for two in March. Lamb shank was beautiful, could not be better. Then the baked Alaska....Oh Lord. Superb cuisine.

It is a pleasure to dine at the Riverbank. The food is fantastic, the table service as brilliant. All I all a fabulous experience.

Had Sunday lunch here with my partner and son downstairs. The food is amazing, flavours compliment each other perfectly. Dessert is a bit of a let down on this menu nothing very exciting on it, cheesecake had a hard base and no dairy free alternative. Atmosphere was lovely and general hygiene of bar table etc was good but the bathroom was very poor dusty around toilet terribly dirty toilet seat floor filthy and sinks dirty too. (Plenty staff standing about ten minutes to bring bathroom up to standard) I will definitely come back for the food though fabulous

Always gorgeous food, the steak is delicious and very reasonably priced for the quality. Service excellent and always a warm welcome.

Top class steak, Delicious homemade chips, Peppercorn sauce on the side. Excellent service, Great staff and Very reasonable price.

I was there for a work Christmas meal. The stack I had was fabulous. Everyone else enjoyed their food also.

Had a family celebration so booked the Party Night at the Riverbank. It was fabulous!

Just a brilliant experience from start to finish. Warm welcome, lovely pint and even better food upstairs. The room was very tidy, with an up to date interior. 10/10
