The staff here are so friendly and super helpful! They took the time to explain all the gluten-free options, which made dining here such a great experience. And I highly recommend the chicken wings. They were excellent!! The best wings ive ever had.

An authentic pub with a rustic atmosphere, attentive service, and perfect food. A complimentary appetizer of homemade bread kicks off the culinary journey, followed by exquisite main courses. Live guitar music made it perfect. I'd gladly return.

We had a fantastic start to our holiday by choosing The Oarsman for our first meal. There were 10 of us, so I made sure to book ahead! The service was really friendly and we appreciated being given a table in a slightly more private area, especially as we had two children with us. We all had food envy watching each other’s dishes come out and everything looked amazing. We will definitely be back!

20/09/2026: Just had a meal here with my family for our son's birthday. The food was so good! Great service! I had to reschedule 3 times and they still accommodated us. Everyone was happy with their meal. I will definitely go again and I highly recommend it! 5/5!!

01/09/2026: Always seems to be very busy even early in the week…food is always exceptionally good and prices are reasonable. Only downside is the young lady who clearly doesn’t value customers…on our first visit she turned us away because we hasn’t made a booking despite the fact that there were lots of empty tables and the next visit she had tried to us the same approach but lucky for us we had made a reservation…
