Great cozy place! Good selection of drinks! Delicious, but the menu is "like everyone else's." Very clean, good service. A great spot for birdwatching.

Wonderful, kind and friendly service, and the food is excellent as well. It’s a bit more expensive than usual (comparable to the Temple Bar district in Dublin), but the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through!

Can’t emphasis enough how heartfelt welcome Ronan, who is an absolute star, and his team made us and our small dog feel. We came for the mussles, and stayed for the prawns. Honestly, an absolutely amazing experience at Moreisseys if we’re ever back in the area, we’ll surely be back!

5 star experience – visited on Sunday evening after it had recently reopened under new ownership and I would highly recommend. The food was outstanding, the service was excellent, and the menu offered a great variety of choices. The bar also has a lovely, relaxing atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

Thoroughly enjoyable dining experience at Morrissey’s tonight. Great atmosphere and staff with exceptional food. We had mostly seafood, crab claws, prawns, fish and chips, all absolutely delicious. I have to compliment especially the pavlova on dessert menu. Brilliant start, can’t wait to go there again.

Tubridy's

07/05/2026: We were self catering about 6km from this restaurant and treated ourselves one of our final nights. We had had a filling chowder in Lehinch earlier in the day and an ice cream to follow so ordered main courses only. Staff were welcoming and friendly despite no reservation: a true Clare welcome to my Mum in her late 70s, myself and my two children aged 5 and 7 respectively. There was a kids menu and my children ordered the homemade burgers which were definitely homemade and fab. There were no prices on the kids menu and as driver of our trip, I was treated as were the kids to our meal so I'm not sure of the price of the kids burgers. For mains, my Mum and I had the Hake dish at €26 each. Intermittently, my Mum muttered 'I'm in heaven' and 'wow' whilst eating hers. It was delicious: a rich, filling, cooked perfectly but fancy dish which we both thoroughly savoured. We had water, Miwadi and a glass of milk to wash it down. Worth the price. Definitely recommended if staying locally or passing by. Hats off to the Polish chef.
05/05/2026: We got a lovely fish chips last Sunday, everything was fresh and delicious. Highly recommend.

03/05/2025: Came by this pub by off chance when me and my mate were doing a tour of west coast of Ireland. Coming in early evening we were only intending to stay for a couple but Christine the landlady her partner Mike and Martin one of the regulars made us feel so welcome we ended staying a bit longer and leaving in the early hours, with Martins wife giving us a lift back to our camper van Loved it so much was really tempted to come back for the jazz festival in the village at the end of May but unable to due to work commitments. I do know if you decide to visit you will made to feel very welcome.
