McCormack in Dublin

I have a history with this pub. Originally from dun Laoghaire and lived across the street till I was six Breed / Brid McCormick was my godmother. Was so great to come back to my hometown again and see McCormick pub still there and still owned and run by the same family. The food was delicious 😋 I had vegetarian pasta and chips. Serving was generous. The lady who served me. I didn’t get her name. Was so kind and helpful. Highly recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

This is my local, I love everything about this pub, the staff are lovely, the food is always delicious, the atmosphere is great and always welcoming.

Having visited twice now, I can confidently say the food here is top-notch. Both the fish and chips and the lasagna are delicious. I highly recommend it. The staff are also very pleasant.

I recently had a meal in P. McCormack and Sons in Dun Laoghaire and unfortunately the food didn’t quite live up to expectations. To start, I ordered the soup with bread. The soup itself was gorgeous and full of flavour, but some of the bread that came with it was a bit stale which was disappointing. For the main course we ordered burgers, but the buns were heavily over-toasted which made them quite hard and not very enjoyable to eat. I also had a portion of chicken wings. The sauce on the wings was warm and tasted nice, but the wings themselves were cold which took away from the dish. That said, the pub itself was very clean and the staff were extremely professional, polite, and pleasant to deal with throughout the visit. The service was good, but unfortunately the food just didn’t match the same standard.

Very warm and welcoming pub. Decent enough food. Good pints and a good place to have a drink and a chat.

Classic neighbourhood pub, love it.

22.50 for fish and chip... not great at all. Surprised as known for good food. Prices extortionate.
