We booked two single beds and received a super cozy room with a queen-size bed and a single bed; we slept like royalty. We especially appreciated the additional reading lamps above the bed, which is a rare find. The bathroom was large, modern, and had built-in shelving, so there was plenty of storage space and no need to search for where to put everything. We were able to get a hairdryer immediately when we needed one.
Breakfast offered everything you could want, and the Irish tea was particularly delicious. The breakfast rooms, with their several partitioned alcoves, have a charming atmosphere, as do the lounges with their English/Irish furniture.
All the staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating.
There's a large luggage storage room where we could leave our bags upon arrival, as check-in isn't until 3 pm. The same applies on the day of departure – check-out is at noon, and the luggage can remain there all day if, like us, you're flying back in the evening.
... The hotel's location is excellent; it's about a 20-minute walk straight ahead across one of the many bridges over the River Liffey, then turn right to reach the Temple Bar district.
Everything was perfect, nothing but praise.

We enjoyed an exceptional stay at the Castle Hotel. In addition to being an impressive building with attractive and comfortable sitting areas, the staff were absolutely wonderful. We loved the location and walked everywhere. We loved our quiet room and the amazing breakfast, which included fantastic coffee. Thank you to everyone at Castle Hotel!

We were extremely disappointed with this hotel. We were hoping for authenticity and proximity to points of interest. The hotel itself, as well as the reception (given our limited English), was only passable. There was no soundproofing. The television connection was also nonexistent. The neighborhood at the end of the day (from 5:30 PM to 6:00 PM) is frightening due to the presence of drugged and/or intoxicated individuals… the value for money was not there.

We had a lovely room at the Castle Hotel and enjoyed dinner in the basement with the entertainment, both singer and dancer. It is a terrific location and history.

Room shabby for the price. Stayed at Holiday Inn Express the week before for significantly less cost and much nicer room.

It can be loud if you have a room facing the street. The restaurants and stuff are really good. Parking is extra and tight spaces to navigate.
