Very nice old fashion hotel. Great price/quality ratio. Fully recommended!

Pretty ok located, friendly service but:
- room/bathroom aren’t clean (toilets dirty, there is an urgent need to replace the toilet seater), some moisture here and there, a strong sweat smell in the corridor (time to deep clean the carpets?)
- there is no phonic isolation at all. We could literally see clear through the entry door!

I loved the location. Close to buses and the train. Close to hop on/hop off busses. The food was fantastic. The live music and Irish dancing were exactly what I wanted. The staff was so nice and friendly. When I come to Dublin again, I will stay here. Thank you for helping to make this part of my trip so perfect.

The room was cosy and comfortable, overlooking a quiet courtyard. The decor throughout was classically pleasing, guest lounges located in reception rooms of the former Georgian townhomes were elegant and welcoming with their tall windows, fireplaces and generously upholstered sofas and armchairs. An excellent location with secure and affordable private parking as well.

Patina, classic hotel, with a great atmosphere, kind service, attentive hospitality. We stayed here as part of our trip to Dublin as a birthday present. The room was prepared in advance upon request (balloons, ribbon, greeting card), and there were also small surprises during the dinner. They made one of the great experiences of my life even more memorable.
The view of the room opened onto a small cathedral, its furnishings are almost from the last century, like the entire milieu of the hotel. On the contrary, it is characterized by cleanliness and orderliness, the romantically old atmosphere is not combined with old mustiness. You can have breakfast in two restaurants, the dishes are either continental or Irish (it is recommended to try the full Irish breakfast). The automatic pancake maker is brilliant! It should also be at home. :)
The hotel is well positioned because it is close to the city center, even a short walk away. Turning in the other direction, however, the atmosphere is a bit suburban. But let's not go there. ;) Compared to the Dublin pricing, it is more favorable, which is perhaps also attributable to this.
All in all, we had a great weekend here and thank you for the kindness of the hotel staff!

If you like busy streets in the center of Dublin, I recommend it, because of the single-glazed windows, you can hear everything, but that's to be expected in the center...
Small parking lot in the yard
