03/03/2025: I had the " Moroccan skillet Chicken Couscous." as recommended by the owner. The aroma, colour, taste, and texture presentation were amazing. To my surprise and delight, I was greeted as Gaeilge ....Wow... Even though my dress code was dishevelled, each customer got the most dignified welcome and was afforded a respect that I have not seen in a long time in Europe. The atmosphere was very cosy and friendly, typical of a family run business. What a lovely surprise from the plethora of "fast food " in the town 😋 I hope you make a €1000000 ,you're worth it 👌 😀

31/03/2025: Went here Saturday 29th March, 5 of us, all 5 had starters and a main, couldn't fit in desert, the starters were fantastic, 1 deep fried brie, 3 chicken tacos, 1 chicken wings Mains were even better, 1 stir fried noodles, 2 chicken satay curry, 1 burger, 1 chicken burger The whole meal was perfect, the service was amazing and there was a good feel to the place, we're pretty local but haven't been here for years but we'll definitely be going back, we all agreed it was the best meal out we've had for years, well done to all the team

09/03/2025: Absolutamente terrible establecimiento. Nos quedamos esperando a que nos sentaran a pesar de que solo estaba medio lleno y dos de las chicas que trabajaban allí se quedaron hablando y riendo en el bar. Cuando finalmente nos sentamos la chica se alejó inmediatamente sin preguntar si queríamos una copa mientras miraba el menú. Una chica diferente vino a tomar el pedido de bebidas y estaba tan desinteresada y grosera que decidimos irnos. No vamos a volver y vamos a disuadir a amigos y familiares de ir allí. Terrible atención al cliente y personal muy poco profesional.

26/02/2025: Normal everyday food at average prices, could go with coleslaw, salad or crisps on the plate with roll etc Need to have the salad etc on display as impossible to guess what they have without seeing it No menus on table and have to order and pay before you sit down Super friendly and chatty staff who had a good laugh about me saying about all the Manchester United stuff Wouldn't rush back but it's grand if you wanted ordinary food

15/04/2025: Lovely atmosphere. Quality of the ingredients was high and the food was tasty. Unfortunately though, 3 of us felt that our meals were quite small. Mentioned it to staff (who are very nice to be fair) and was simply told "sorry about that. Unfortunately though, it's not a nice experience to leave a restaurant hungry after paying around the €30 mark for a plate of food, hence the 3 star review. Had the pork tomahawk, salmon and duck.

14/02/2025: My husband and I have just visited The Olde Post Inn for the first time - what a lovely experience, we will definitely return. There is a welcoming ambience,staff from the restaurant manager, to servers and bar staff were very friendly and professional. The food was excellent - we chose the Valentines menu and thoroughly enjoyed every morsel. We would highly recommend

16/02/2025: Yes I was here manager is not a single bit polite rushing everything just to get charged 35 euro for a burger and sides that was not up to the price wouldn’t recommend everything was good untill the manager arrived and started yelling at some kids that were from the travler origin honestly a 40 year old man refusing some kids because of there race and then I see some African American people and the looks this guy was giveing them was not one bit right I think it might be a racial problem with the servis but the food was burnt and the glasses used for the drinks had a hair in it ❌ don’t make the mistake of comeing here honestly take your ur money somewhere els you could get far better food for your money and far far better servis

07/04/2025: We had a lovely meal here. The place is very clean. The staff were friendly & knew their jobs. It was very quiet when we arrived, but it later became busy & very loud! My biggest issue here was accessing the toilets. This necessitated climbing 3 quite steep steps. Worse than that, there is no toilet for use by disabled people. Surely this is illegal??

30/03/2025: Exceptional restaurant, staff and food. They looked after us so well. The food was delicious. The staff were really helpful, cheerful and friendly. A super place to go with friends or family for any occasion. Highly recommend this wonderful place. We’ll be back for sure. Thank you Cronins.

04/04/2025: One of the main reasons for our trip was to experience an authentic Irish pub with real Guinness and Irish whiskey, and I think we absolutely hit the jackpot with The Whiskey Still! But more importantly, we finally got to try something we had heard so much about: the legendary seafood chowder. Oh. My Goodness! I’ve had seafood soups from America to the Far East, each with its own twist, but the only one that ever truly stayed in my memory was a tomato-based fish soup I once had in a small Hungarian village by the Danube River. That was until now. This seafood chowder was something on a whole different level a creamy, dreamy masterpiece, a dish so divine 🙏 it could be classified as an aphrodisiac and a heaven taste, or whatever you imagine 🕺Every spoonful was pure bliss, and I found myself praying it would never end. And when it did, I refused to eat or drink anything -even water - for a while, just to let the aftertaste linger a little longer 🎆 If you ever find yourself anywhere near this place, do yourself a favor and order the chowder. You can thank me later. Go maire tú an lá! (May you enjoy the day!) ☘️🥃

17/03/2025: Visited this evening with my family, the food was amazing along with the friendly welcome we received when we arrived and left, it was just lovely. The ladies serving us were all so friendly and helpful to us all. Could not fault one thing from start to finish we had a beautiful meal and a lovely time.

03/04/2025: A return to an old place from my past, and it was a blend of my past and present. I used to enjoy nights out in the old Leathan, ( way way back, think I was there the second night it opened. ) and the extremely wonderful Jeremiah Grants. I ordered the steak, and it was perfect for my taste, then a generous slice of apple pie. My wife had the Hawaiian burger. Both meals were perfect. Thank you to the staff of Jeremiah Grants for providing us with a evening I will be remembering for a long time to come.

28/03/2025: Exceptional restaurant. If you are a big foodie, then this will not disappoint! A smaller menu than most but each and every dish is exquisitely prepared, cooked and prepared. Flavour is packed into every element. Nice relaxed surroundings, great service, no negatives. This one gets full marks. Really excellent and located in beautiful Carlingford.
