04/09/2026: Sun came out - we sat in their back yard and had the best lunch of our trip. Food was fresh, atmosphere was on point, and service was ultra friendly and fun with our small family.

12/06/2026: We felt welcomed as soon as we arrived. The staff is amazingly helpful. The ONLY reason we didn't stay longer was because they were fully booked. Food was some of best we had in Ireland. We will definitely stay here when we return to Kells.

10/06/2026: Had afternoon tea here for a friend's birthday. Staff brought out a desert with candles and sang happy birthday and also offered to take photos which was greatly appreciated Food was lovely and service was great, only negative was they did not offer fresh tea and coffee during our visit. The only parking available on the day was council parking which is not connected to the hotel and the exit out of car park to the front of the hotel had no footpath.

31/08/2026: There were more staff than customers, and we waited over an hour for our food. No one even approached the guy next to us to take our order. The atmosphere was nice, and the food was average for the price. On the plus side, Chris, the waiter, realized something was wrong, came over, and fixed it – clearly the most organized of the team. Nice guy. Howder was very good.

09/08/2026: I had a lovely dinner here with a friend on our last evening in Dublin. We really enjoyed our food and drinks and the view of the river. We will for sure be back next time we’re in Ireland!!

24/08/2026: Avoid at all costs if you are not a local, they will ignore you. Felt validated after reading other reviews about the service. We were sat, it was empty and the waiter kept walking by our table and refused to take our order. Then people started coming in (it was empty for the first 20 mins that we were waiting at the table) and the waiters were promptly helping them and taking their orders. My husband tried to catch the waiter’s attention multiple times before we decided to leave. Some places will purposely ignore you to not serve you. Don’t waste your time, the food is apparently not good anyway. The Hairy Lemon was great go there instead, the staff is kind!

25/07/2026: We spend three days this weekend in Dublin and the Bleeker Street Bar became our favorite Pub. Maybe because it‘s placed on the opposite from our apartment but also because Johnny is a really cool dude with a cool bar. 10/10, would recommend!

17/08/2026: We had a party of 15 on Sunday night and the food was excellent along with the service, the only problem we had was when the food arrived we had to wait on vegetables and potatoes/ chips, that was the problem from the kitchen and not the servers, but overall the food was beautiful and I would have no hesitation in recommending the boathouse

12/07/2026: My cousins and I stayed at the hotel on Friday and had light bites and cocktails on the terrace. Everything was fab but really I’m only reviewing because our server Paudie genuinely made our evening, he was so fab! Paudie was so attentive and was great craic too. He really gave us such good service. Thank you Paudie!

08/07/2026: We just spent 5 nights in a River Suite. The Woodlands part of the property is a five star experience. The serene room design, large balcony and club lounge make this a perfect place for celebrating a special occasion or in our case having a quiet home base for exploring Cork and the surrounding areas. Every staff member we encountered was friendly. The service was excellent. You do not have to leave the property as they have a full service restaurant and bar both with panoramic views, fitness center, pool and spa.

18/07/2026: Stopped for lunch yesterday. Delicious food, great choice, lovely and fresh. The staff were helpful, friendly and professional. Would definitely recommend.

03/04/2026: Wow! Normally go to Rosato’s when in Moville and menu can be a bit unimaginative. So tried Inish Fusion for the first time… and it was sensational. The staff were so friendly and welcoming and the menu is outstanding… and the food… what can I say? Incredible. We both went for the €25 surf and turf special. Sirloin steaks cooked to perfection with fresh king prawns kissed with the right amount of chilli. Wonderful garlic potatoes, the sweetest cherry tomatoes and Diane sauce to die for. I don’t know why I ever went anywhere else. Amazing

13/05/2026: If you’re looking for THE castle experience this is it! The overall experience has been top tier offering grand furnishings, indulging restaurant and bar menu and relaxing atmosphere. The neo-gothic architecture and interior design transports you back in time. The only restaurant on site offers a unique and elegant menu with the highly recommended Drunken Bullock steak that is an experience in itself. As I write this, lounging in the luxuriously decorated sitting room adjacent to the Armada Bar, I can confidently tell you this is the place to book if you’re looking for a private castle visit. With only 10 bedrooms, you are guaranteed a timeless environment that takes you back in time. We are traveling the Wild Atlantic Way, which the Belleek castle has special WAW bundle offer with complimentary breakfast every morning, one night of complimentary 3 course meal for 2 at the their restaurant and 2 pints of Guinness at the armada bar. They also offer a tour (highly recommend booking) of the castle and dungeons daily which gives you an extra activity to do around the property. We are a young couple visiting from California. We got to meet the owner and he was so kind and friendly to us and our 16month baby. Happy to write they offer pop up cot which has been our deciding factor in choosing our residences along the WAW so we didn’t have to travel with a pop up cot. All in all would highly recommend coming on a weekday where you can avoid a possible wedding/wedding guests. The castle was up to par with what we had expected— the food/service was great and beautifully furnished. Some might expect Ritz Carlton meets Highclere castle- This is not that so get your expectations right before coming. The castle was such a fun experience along our journey across Ireland.

19/04/2026: We had a fabulous time at the Beleek Castle. The desk clerk explained about the castle and signed us up for a guided tour. Tickets were reasonable. Our guide was a school teacher and he was very knowledgeable about the history of the castle. It is richly decorated with antiques and is popular with people planning weddings. The best 2 areas were the room of Jurassic fossils and the room of ancient weapons and armor.
