12/10/2025: Had breakfast here yesterday. Really gorgeous. Service very quick even though it was busy. 3 of us left there full and very happy. Looking forward to a return visit

18/09/2025: What a gem of a place, we’d been to the Deli the day before and bought some granola and flour, and had a take out coffee, so we were really looking forward to a late breakfast at Café Rua. First impressions were a fantastic welcome and real friendly people, nothing sham or pretend here. What a great menu, absolutely something for all tastes and dietary requirements. The chorizo, spinach and sautéed potatoes, topped with 2 perfectly poached eggs and accompanied with chilli relish was excellent. Real fresh orange juice was delightful, and the coffee? Epic! What a fabulous way to spend time being looked after in one of the best cafés I’ve visited.

21/04/2026: Bedroom was very nice and beds were comfortable. Could have provided water in the room but we availed of the tea facilities. Check in staff very friendly. Did not use restaurant or breakfast. Decor a bit dated but very reasonably priced. Would recommend hotel for budget friendly travelling.

24/10/2025: Six of us ate here last night. We had a beautiful meal. The atmosphere, service and quality of the food was excellent. We'll definitely be back. 3 of us had the monkfish and scallops, two steaks and I had the bacon. We all licked our plates The deserts were gorgeous also. Thank you.

27/03/2026: We went to the Gateway today for a family birthday. The sevice was slow but food was reasonable even though vegetables arrived when meal was nearly eaten. The main problem was with the service and attitude of staff. We asked for a jug of water before meal and asked two different girls on four different occasions without water arriving. When it did arrive the jug and glasses were slammed on table. We will not be back

17/02/2026: We had an absolutely fantastic stay at The Morrison Hotel, and can honestly say it is one of the best hotels we have stayed at in Dublin. The location is excellent, right in the city with easy access to everything, and having parking directly at the hotel is a huge bonus. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our entire stay, which really made a difference. Breakfast was outstanding, with a great selection and very high quality. The room service menu was far beyond what you would normally expect. We ordered beef Wellington, monkfish pasta and several desserts – everything was delicious, reasonably priced, and delivered to the room within 20 minutes. The rooms themselves are modern, newly renovated, spotless and very comfortable. You can clearly tell that a lot of thought has gone into both design and cleanliness. Overall, this is an excellent hotel in every aspect. We would highly recommend The Morrison to anyone visiting Dublin and would not hesitate to stay here again.

14/02/2026: We spent one night in this hotel located in the centre of Dublin. Everything was perfect : very clean, the bed is huge and comfortable. I would definitely come back.

16/12/2025: The stew was delicious. I wasn't asked how it tasted during the meal, nor how the beer the bartender recommended tasted. It also has the feel of a cozy pub if you're with people you know, but if you're alone, you won't get any conversation. Not even if you're sitting at the bar; the staff don't seem particularly welcoming to tourists. Perhaps the bartender wasn't in the mood today; during quieter moments, he leaned against the bar rather than chatting.

28/11/2025: Booked the sitting room bar in Foleys Bar for my sisters hen party. The staff were fantastic to deal with from start to finish, so friendly, helpful and professional, especially Jazmine who dealt with our booking from the start and then Shane on the night. 06/03/2026: Before and after a soccer match in the Aviva both times the experience was very enjoyable.Proper old style bar staff even though the pub was bouncing and they were busy not afraid to make eve contact so you new you were next to be served.

28/02/2026: Ive visited twice now and each time has been a Friday evening after 8. -The atmosphere is great for conversation and not too crowded. -The staff were friendly and attentive. -The pints of Guiness were wonderfully creamy -AND THE BRISKET ROLL IS THE BEST SANDWICH IVE HAD IN DUBLIN Ive had a dream about that sandwich after each time I've eaten one. Proper crust from the rub, not overly smokey and the roll is a perfect match for holding up under the juices of the brisket without falling to bits and being too firm to bite or chew. It's a place that will be in the rotation of where I'll visit when I go into town. If that sandwich leaves the menu I'll never be able to return for the heartache that will come with its memory will be too painful to bear.

20/03/2026: Such a lovely place . A real gem. We had a lovely family lunch and got to enjoy the surroundings as well. Didn’t feel like we were in the city , yet it’s only a few mins drive away. Great food, really great service and the atmosphere was lovely . The outside seating is a must if you have kids as they will love the ducks and swans paddling around on the little lake. Highly recommend a visit and a great place for kids as well. We will definitely be returning.

06/04/2026: Was told to sit upstairs, then was ignored. 3 other tables were sat after us and given menus. We were then asked if we wanted a menu. Ordered scrambled egg, bacon on toast, an orange juice and a water. No offer to choose brown or white toast. Brown came. Orange juice came but no water. Waitress stood beside me not knowing where the food was going. Eventually asked who ordered it. Toast came without butter. Was not offered salt or condiments. "Scrambled egg" is just a undercooked chopped omelette Bacon fatty. Barely ate any. Then 4 staff members stood there for far too long ignoring us as we tried to pay. Plenty of other places on the same street do breakfast but as it was 11:30 our choices were limited. Avoid this place if possible.

16/03/2026: Fantastic and fresh Chickken Caesar salad. Good coffee, great service and food all around looks great. Hope this place thrives
