13/10/2025: Wonderful experience from start to finish at Table forty One. Staff were friendly welcoming, attentive & informative. The food was second to none. We had confit duck & rack of pork, both cooked to perfection by chef Andrew Duncan. I don't normally do reviews but this place is special. Athmosphere was lively yet comfortable & laid back. Prices are spot on for the quality of food & service given, which is rare these days. Well done to all concerned, great work. Thank you.

Every course reflected precision, passion, and perfection — true artistry on a plate. Chef Andy is without a doubt a master of his craft. His dedication, attention to detail, and creativity shine through in every dish. He carries out an incredibly demanding job, yet the results are extraordinary — each plate looked and tasted as though it belonged in a Michelin-starred restaurant. 12/09/2025: The best food around. If you want to eat well, look no further. I've been here several times for lunch. I'm so sorry that my vacation is ending and delivery would be a nightmare. Very nice service and I was even able to chat in my native Czech. I definitely recommend it.

15/08/2025: We were a group of 9 for lunch on Wednesday. The food was lovely everyone enjoyed it. One thing that did really bother me was when the gentleman took our order. 3 of us asked for water meaning tap water but each time he said still or sparkling. I asked directly for tap water and he made a face and all but said no. Something about it not being good. As far as I'm aware if you buy alcohol at any establishment in Ireland and ask for tap water then you are legally entitled to have it, no excuses. We did buy alcohol by the way. There were 9 of us, money was going to be made. Also parties of 5 or more could not pay separately, I mean come on. That's a complete first for me. We were paying cash, maybe it should be made clear about incurring card cost but otherwise if paying cash then fine. A nice spot in Gort but surprisingly quiet. Please supply the water if asked. You'll still make your money, these things do make a difference especially if there is a chance of people coming back.

20/08/2025: Went here for dinner with my wife in August. Best meal we've had in a while. Very relaxing pre dinner drink in the bar area while perus the menu. Then had a very nice meal. Starters of ham hoc terrine and crab creme brulee were fab. Then I had the lamb which was the tastiest and most tender I've ever had. My wife had the fish dish which was a very decent size and she thoroughly enjoyed it. Very good wine list but unfortunately could only try one as I was driving. We will most certainly return.

15/10/2025: Dropped in dinner with family. Choice of menu was good and food cooked perfectly. Staff were very friendly and professional. A windy day outside but we enjoyed the lakeside views across Lough Ramor through the large windows. A super visit. ***UPDATE*** Another visit for dinner. Service: As always prompt and very friendly. Table: Nicely situated with the view across the lake stunning, even on a typically 'Irish' day weather wise. Food: Starters, mains and desserts were exactly as ordered. Very generous portions superbly prepared and presented and delicious. We would reccomended The Lakeside Manor to everyone for service, quality and value for money.

17/10/2025: Just spent 10 days all over the country, and this was the best dinner we had. Lovely intimate spot, I can’t wait to get back. The serving staff (18:30 16/10) was the best, gave great recommendations and made the night perfect. The scallops, crab, onion soup, venison, all winners! And the prosecco to boot! Love 1826

01/10/2025: Stopped here for dinner after visiting the Irish National Heritage Park (also wonderful!) with my mom and dad, who can be a little picky. We all really liked it and the portions were huge, making it a great value. Also the service was spot on. I really liked the haddock! Recommend checking it out for a quiet, comfortable, simply lovely experience.

16/09/2025: We visited the bar on the main level. While we did not eat there, the food that came out of the kitchen looked and smelled amazing. The drinks were great and at a decent price. The servers were very attentive and friendly.

04/10/2025: They let us get in telling us they would have served food at 5pm, as the kitchen opens at that time. We had a drink in the meantime and waited til 5 to order something to eat. At 5 we asked for the food menu and we were told they're booked out and we cannot have any food. Apart from that, they all had very cold and unwelcoming demeanor. Just a pity, really, as I used to live here and wanted my family and friends to just have a lovely time. 1 star just because 0 is not possible and the view, which clearly is the only lovely thing about the place.
