The Barge in Dublin

The place is beautiful, love all the weird stuff stuck on the ceiling, the live music was great. Staff were friendly. Its quite spacious inside as well which I loved. Went for a work function so we only had finger snack style food, no gluten free options other than nachos. Could be more on their regular menu, I didnt see it. No 0% options so other than beer so no mocktails or anything like that, would be nice to see that maybe in the future.

Awesome irish pub with fantastic food and wonderful service. We've been twice in the 2 days we've been here so far. Highly recommend the wings!

Very popular place to eat and drink!

I organised a 25th party for my family and friends for roughly 40 of us! I was dealing with Caroline who was fantastic and easy to deal with! Lots of places require meal per person or a room hire fee! There was nothing here! We had an area to ourselves just in front of the band and then the DJ! It was such a great night! Definitely worth booking here!

Good price for a pint of Guinness. Very nice decoration, atmosphere and music. Great chips.

On Friday evening, we walked into McCafferty's without a reservation, expecting it to be full. To our surprise, they managed to find us a table, which immediately made a great first impression. The pub exudes exactly the atmosphere you'd hope for in an Irish pub: warm, cozy, and lively without feeling overcrowded or chaotic. We had a delicious meal there, and the value for money was excellent. Just honest pub food, well-prepared and reasonably priced. All in all, it was a very successful evening for us. It's a place where you immediately feel welcome, and one we'd definitely return to on our next visit to Dublin.

I got traditional fish and chips, and the portion was too big. We were a crowded group, and they didn’t allow us to pay individually.
