The food was very below standard, frozen chicken burger and goujons. The chicken burger was pure slop, unable to pick it up or cut into. For the same prices many restaurants around have better quality food.

Highly recommend McCaffertys!The atmosphere is great! Staff are so professional and friendly. Food is excellent. We had a fabulous evening.

Roast beef lunch was nice. Specially the roasted potatoes.

Always come here for their vegetable soup it is super wholesome and tasty ,full of flavour and it comes with homemade Guinness bread which is so fluffy and fresh hard not to get seconds🥹! Atmosphere is calm and peaceful at lunch and in the evening it is so lively a perfect combination of good food a nice setting and live music! A must try !

Food is amazing very reasonable in price

Went in for a bite to eat though didn't see the snack menu until it was too late and my attention wasn't drawn to it by the staff. Started off with a small portion of chicken wings to start and was kindly given a sample taste of two sauces since I couldn't decide. The serving was plentiful and tasty though I thought they were a bit pricey compared to prices I used to remember. Confused staff thought it was okay to substitute a slice of lime for lemon in my water and didn't know what a pepper mill was otherwise they were welcoming, attentive and professional. For dessert I had the bread and butter pudding which was a lovely and thoughtfully put together dessert though I would liked some raisins in it. The added garnish of strawberries were sweet and succulent though I was over charged for the dessert, I was charged for the dinner price and not the lunch price though because it was only for 50 cents I let it slide but I thought it was unprofessional. The decor for me was a bit garish and 'busy', I'm not a big pub person; though many would find it quirky and full of character and very 'Oirish' depending on ones perspective but unfortunately the toilet was dirty. Unless seated outside from what I could see, it was very hard to take in the nice location and view. Still all in all I enjoyed my meal and its a nice place for a quiet and tasty lunch.

Cool pub just outside the city. We only had drinks outside and didn't eat anything; there was a great selection of different beers.
