20/10/2024: My husband had the cottage pie and I had the Guinness stew. Both were quite tasty and left us very full. The staff were friendly.

10/09/2024: My wife and I had a great meal last year when visiting the area. We decidied we must eat at Blue Serenade again. We booked in advance to avoid disappointment. Peter is wonderful as a host and a character. We shared a bowel of mussells as a starter, followed by mains of Lamb Shank, and Chicken Duxelle. We both had Chocolate Orange Cheesecake as a dessert. For drinks we shared a bottle of Merlot. it was a very relaxed meal, - be prepared to have a wait between each course. The food is obviously freshly cooked to ordered. High quality standard of food, and wine. The total bill came to €94.50 which we thought was fanstastic value for the evening. The restuarant is small and intimate, with plenty of character. The choice of music is 1970', 80's eske which is line with the whole experience. A bit quirky but brilliant all round.

17/09/2024: Played this course on the 7th and 8th of September with good friends. What a beast of a course. Truly spectacular with ocean views and undulating fairways. A real challenge but fair with lots of blind greens. We played the full Atlantic dunes but only a portion of the Hackett. Would highly recommend this gem on the wild atlantic coast.

11/10/2024: We stopped by this bistro for lunch after driving down from Dublin and visiting Sean’s Bar. It was a solid meal—I had the warm prawn and chorizo salad, which was flavorful and filling. My friend had the bisque and cleaned his bowl. The staff were friendly and quick to help with anything. The restaurant was clean, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting.

07/10/2024: 14 of us went for a family lunch. Highly recommend this gem of a pub. They had set up a long table for us in the main bar with plenty of space. Food was great, service very efficient and staff were super friendly. Good tunes playing too. Nothing was a problem over the day. I would definitely go back.

30/10/2024: Find out what Chef is on before you order! So hit and miss. Used to go once a week now, it's not worth the hassle. There is one chef who's food is awful Keep telling them but they obviously don't care. No consistency. Some evenings it is fab and others inedible. Pity...

10/11/2024: Paddy Burke's is a great bar/restaurant. Really nice atmosphere. The Irish stew is extremely tasty and it was a significant portion - absolutely stuffed after it!

20/10/2024: Lovely place for breakfast or a scone. A little expensive for what you get. Unfortunately a sign of the times. Not as busy as previous visits.

01/11/2024: Really decent food here, we have been a few times and the food is really worthwhile, the wine list is long and interesting but sometimes if it is around their rotation time you might not get what you want. Totally recommend the Sunday roast too, if you are there then.

07/11/2024: I went for some food and drinks on Friday 1st November with my two friends with the intentions of staying for the night. They have a good food menu and advertise gluten-free food which is great as I'm coeliac. I went to the bar and ordered a gluten-free beer but they didn't have any which was very disappointing. We got menus to order food and I asked a staff member could she tell me what gluten-free options they have as it does not specify it on the menu. It didn't take her very long to tell me as they have very little gluten-free options. She told me they did have a burger which came with a gluten-free bun and chips. I asked were the chips gluten-free and was told no which is absolutely ridiculous if your coeliac. I asked what other options were available and unfortunately there wasn't any. As we left I spoke to the manager and explained how disappointing it was that I couldn't get a gluten-free meal or a gluten-free beer. His answer was that they didn't have a separate fryer to cook gluten-free food in and that he had got a delivery of gluten-free beer in that day and it was dropped and they ALL smashed. Very disappointing visit.

15/10/2024: I went mid week with a couple of friends and we had a gorgous meal. My main fish dish was delicious and generous. The service was a bit slow but they were very busy. Would recommend

02/10/2024: Amazing French Restaurant. Delicious seafood and the duck à l'orange melts in your mouth. Vey quiet and pleasant atmosphere.
