29/03/2026: We recently brought our Canadian friends who were visiting to Baileys for lunch. Unfortunately our experience was bad from the beginning due to an extremely rude waitress called Sandra. We had some questions about the menu and she was so unhelpful, and we were made to feel like we were putting her out! She was not one bit friendly and didn’t make any effort to hide her frustration, which frankly was unwarranted. Luckily she didn’t come back after that and we had a very nice waitress called Veronika. Unfortunately we will not be returning any time soon and will certainly not be recommending Baileys any longer!

19/04/2026: Really disappointed by our visit. We prebooked a table for 12.30 for lunch. When we arrived it seemed they weren't ready to serve us. Arrived in and waited to be seated, eventually someone came and told us to just head upstairs. We waited around upstairs too and there was no one there. Eventually someone came and told us to sit anywhere. We got served a drink and food, the food was good but then no one came by to check on us. I had to find cutlery on my own. We waited so long to order another drink we decided to just leave instead. We got up and approached staff for the bill. The staff were lovely when we chatted with them but just not enough of them on, I don't think they should take bookings for 12.30 if they're not ready.

11/04/2026: Shoba was so attentive to our group and let us move tables depending on the weather even though we didn’t have reservations which was hugely appreciated! We stayed way longer than we meant to because we had such a fun time and were at such lovely tables! Thank you Shoba!!!

02/01/2026: Overall, the food was not great. Most dishes came out, colder incorrect, and had to be remain. The oysters were the only thing that was worthwhile. Other than that you have an inexperienced kitchen and a wait staff, too worried about their tip and not about the customers experience.

15/04/2026: Since last review below 👇 I have been here lots of times and food is very good.. but unfortunately service still needs to be better . Today wed 15th April. Lots of staff but all talking to eachother or to people they know eating there. I'm no normally in a hurry but today was terrible again. From what I heard from the conversations one of there other places is closed for renovations. So maybe that's why there was lots of staff.. but I was showing to table with a menu. A nice who's only job seems to be bringing the order to your table and taking away entry plates seem to be the only one working. Staff drinks coffee chatting at the bar . What approximately 18 min before having to call the girl that greeted me and showed me to the table to give my order. She said sorry to be fair to her. But this just isn't on . I seen another couple finishes their mains and looked like they ware looking for something else a dessert menu or possibly in order drink. After about 15 minutes I heard the lady said to your man come on let's just go...I know the owner to see here and when he's here he is buzzing around. Maybe when he's not he needs a good substitute.. sorry but they same issues keep happening over and over. Again today I would probably have had at least a coffee at the end of the first order was taken in a timely manner. 😔 Unfortunately i have to revise my great review from a few months back. It's still below. Unfortunately the staff are not been managed correctly. Last few times I've be there on quite evenings even though there's 4 staff on you will be finished your starter and have your empty plate in front of you for 15 /20 mins in my case last week and two weeks ago was much the same.. . And this was with staff walking by lots of times . In the end I had to call someone. But then I had to wait another 25 minutes for my main course. I would say because the kitchen ware waiting for the mains to be called away. Then when I finished my mains again after 10 mins of an empty plate I again had to call someone over ( the head Waitress i believe ) she took the plate away but I wasn't even asked if I wanted a Dessert coffee or anything and not even a dessert menu was not brought over to me so after 10 more minutes I got up paid my bill and left 2 things and this [ 1 ) the owner is losing out on extra money that would help pay bills and staff wages by not selling dessert/coffee. ( 2) it seems to me that the head Waitress/manager is not in control of the place ..people don't seem to have set sections... staff seem to go from 1 end to the other not noticing people that they did not serve the first time... the head waitress as most of us know should give staff set areas and she should float between them helping out and making sure things are going well . But she also seemed to be unaware of issues. I really hope they owners see this review because the food is normally good.. old review is below.... Food is lovely here . I have eaten a few times now and the standard is constantly good 👍we had honey Roast chicken and Chicken Maryland both fantastic .

08/03/2026: Very nice place with a great food. The staff were very friendly and respectful, very quick to make orders and the food was simply amazing. For sure I wanna back many times.

06/01/2026: Warm welcome, had a quick lunch here but the food was very tasty, well presented and great value. Would like to try dinner here. They are also dog friendly here which was perfect for us. Thanks.

12/04/2026: This was a nice gift shop. The bathrooms were clean and there was a good selection of drinks and snacks. Souvenir shopping was also good. I was a little disappointed in some of the pricing. Staff was helpful when needed.

05/04/2026: A perfect sanctuary after a challenging drive through the narrow mountain passes of the Ring of Kerry. We stopped here for a much-needed coffee after navigating roads so narrow that two cars could barely pass, requiring constant maneuvering through the passing places. ​The scenery at the foot of the mountains is breathtaking, and the coffee was the perfect reward for the 'toils of the road.' A must-stop for anyone tackling Moll's Gap—just stay focused on those bends! 5/5

06/04/2026: Such a lovely stay! Really comfy, cosy rooms, super clean, really calm and quiet, and right in the centre. Beautiful view of the river while you have breakfast! Parking was on street and easy and the food was delish. They adapted the menu for me to make it gluten free too. Super worth the money and a really lovely stay. Thank you so much! WiFi wasn't working though, we did ask about it but it didn't get fixed. Just FYI! Thanks so much!

02/04/2026: Had my first Guinness beer (in Ireland) here. Food was fantastic and view was outstanding.

24/03/2026: We visited The Reg on mother's day for lunch. Unfortunately the food was very poor. Out of the five of us only one meal was OK. Even the ice cream we ordered for our little one had ice crystals in it. The young staff were very nice and we did mentioned the issues but no management approached us.

16/03/2026: The food was absolutely delicious. The seafood soup was wonderful and very fresh, and the fried seafood in batter was also extremely tasty. I really enjoyed it. The waiters were very friendly and attentive.

07/03/2026: Befani is well located in the centre of Clonmel. We had an evening and breakfast which were both very and served by pleasant and attentive staff. The accommodation above the restaurant is comfortable and spotlessly clean. We had a very pleasant stay.
