05/09/2026: We had a lovely breakfast here at the homey Puddleducks Cafe. They welcomed our little dog who stretched out on the ground beside us. Nice and comfy. Good bagel and salmon, eggs Benedict and buttermilk pancakes. Lots of locals, young and old. Seems like a popular place. Friendly staff.

04/09/2026: Had lunch here 2 days in a row while visiting Cong. I highly recommend the Club Sandwich, probably the nicest one I have had. The Cafe is a lovely place to eat and the Staff are so friendly. Will definitely visit again

08/08/2026: My wife and I had a really nice dinner at Solas. The Spanish-inspired dishes made with local Irish seafood were unique, interesting, and very well done. It was a great change of pace from some of the more traditional seafood spots in Dingle, while still highlighting the quality of the local ingredients. Who knew tapas and Irish seafood would get along so well? Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something a little different.

07/08/2026: On balance, experience was poor. Whilst some of the food was excellent, others considerably less than that. Particularly disappointing was the fact that we were charged over €30 for two small glasses of Albarino! Only advice is to consider a bottle, then at least you know the quantity that you are paying for! In fairness, this is not a case of “it not being for us”.

06/07/2026: Absolutely amazing hotel. Everyone was so helpful and couldn't do enough to accommodate your stay. Highly recommend and a true bit of Irish hospitality.

20/06/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Killarney Royal Townhouse. The location was absolutely perfect—right in the heart of town and conveniently located for exploring Killarney and many of the area’s top attractions. The staff were exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. Both the breakfast and dinner were excellent, with delicious food and great service. We would highly recommend staying here and would gladly return on our next visit to Ireland!

08/08/2026: Had an amazing experience in Patriots Inn, the food was amazing, Excellent service, Thank you so much to Denise who provided us with everything and beyond, Could not have done enough for us! The cocktails were spectacular and had lot of range thank you to Sophie who was very friendly and accommodating! Couldn't have asked cor better food, service and atmosphere

04/08/2026: Visited yesterday evening for a dinner while passing through. Very friendly staff working well when busy, unfortunately food was not up to scratch. Had turkey and ham , was very bland. Veg was very soft and bland too almost like a bag of frozen mixed veg...Everybody likes their food to be hot but the food was ridiculously hot must have been blasted in an oven ,plate would scald you. Got a baby bowl for my daughter and she could not even begin to eat it for good 10 mins or it would have burnt the mouth off her. Ordered goujons & chips from kids menu for my son and asked for couple of extra goujons if possible instead of chips for him, hes autistic and will only eat the chicken. After a long wait, 5 to 6 of the smallest over-cooked goujons came out for him , and I was charged 13e for them which I taught was a bit expensive. As I said staff friendly, relaxing atmosphere cant fault them but we were disappointed with the quality of the food especially for the price point.

22/07/2026: Ordered Blueberry Daiquiri & get just crushed ice with rum & puree. I payed 12 euro (in a menu the price was 10) for a drink that was far from expected. When i asked a server to ask bartender regarding the drink, she just said that he is on break. Would not come back

30/08/2026: We booked PF McCarthy's for day two of our wedding last weekend. They were an absolute pleasure to deal with. Meg looked after us the entire way and made sure all our questions were answered and requests met. She was laid back and easy to deal with - which was a perk, seeing as we had the actual wedding day to worry about too - but never left us feeling neglected or concerned. The food was unbelievable, with a huge amount of options to choose from and varied price points to suit your budget. The vegetarian options were a particular stand out and left our meat eating guests looking at them with envy! Great selection of drinks, particularly for myself as a non-drinker. The pints were nice and creamy, or so I've been told! The staff were extremely professional and adaptive on the day, and went above and beyond to make us feel looked after. We had visited most pubs in the village a few months before hand, and settled on PFs as our favorite based on vibes. Their hospitality on our day 2 exceeded our expectations and left all our guests delighted and full of praise.

23/08/2026: An authentic, village-style restaurant/pub with an exceptional atmosphere. We ordered a variety platter, and the standout dishes were the delicious tomato soup with seafood and the chocolate fondant. That evening, a fantastic singer and guitarist played live, accompanied by a young percussionist. They performed popular songs with soul and passion.

15/09/2026: The food here is delicious. My mam got roast beef and said it was the best she ever tasted. So definitely highly recommended. Service is friendly and lots not too pricy. We didn't book. It is accessible for people with mobility issues.

28/06/2026: Ate in this establishment on Friday 26th June. Had fish and chips and it was inedible and service was basic. A member of my party had lamb burger presented soaked in gravy and flavourless

09/09/2026: An exceptional experience. Food and service was 5 star. Couple that with being in the majesty of Ashford Castle, it is a night that won't be forgotten. The castle and grounds were magnificent

29/08/2026: We had dinner at the George V Dining Room during our stay at Ashford Castle and really loved it. It is a beautiful restaurant and absolutely matches the level and atmosphere of the castle. The atmosphere is very calm, elegant and quite intimate, which I personally really liked. We had the five-course menu and honestly enjoyed everything. The food was excellent, beautifully presented, and the service was really top level — exactly what you expect from a place like Ashford Castle. Maybe one small observation, and of course this has nothing to do with the restaurant itself. For such a beautiful and elegant dining room, I expected the dress code to be a little more elegant as well. Some guests were dressed very casually, which for me doesn’t quite match the atmosphere of a place like this. But maybe this is just my personal feeling. Nothing really to complain about here 😄 Just a very, very good dinner in a beautiful setting. Definitely recommend it if you are staying at Ashford Castle!

21/08/2026: The best gluten free flapjack I've ever had! Wish I had a photo, it was so good. Decorated with flower petals and had lots of fruit, including goji berries. Matcha was lovely too. I'll be back!

13/08/2026: The gem of Newcastle! What a wonderful place. So cozy and unique. Definitely worthwhile visiting for any occasion, whether you're in for a pint to relax after beach walk or enjoy lunch/dinner. The beer selection is amazing. The service is stunning and staff very nice and welcoming. Would recommend to anyone. P.s. definitely try the chowder, it's amazing!

09/08/2026: Just had dinner in the Castle Inn and wow 5 stars all the way. The food is incredibly good. We had the prawns pil pil & the goats cheese parcel to start and the fish & chips and tempura prawn for mains. Every single morsel on the plate was outstanding. New to the area and very happy to have been recommended this place. Service couldn’t have been any better. For Guinness drinkers it’s a short pull set up meaning fresh clean pints every time. Ten stars. ⭐️

18/07/2026: Food was good but the bread was like a stone super hard but when I finished my food I called the manager and .i suggest the manager check the bread ,because it was super hard and he answered me you should eat it when it was warm , hmmm i think it is old bread , and it is just leftover reheating. It was my experinece . The beef stew was very good !!. It was just my own experience.

18/07/2026: We visited this pub as a group of eight. Only two of us ordered food, while everyone else had alcoholic drinks. From the moment we arrived, the waitress made us feel unwelcome. She was unfriendly throughout our entire visit and gave us the impression that she wanted us to leave as soon as possible. The worst part was when we were asked to give up our table for another group. We completely understand that this can happen and had no issue with moving. However, the way it was communicated was incredibly rude and unprofessional. A little politeness and respect would have made all the difference. It’s a real shame because the location itself is actually quite nice. Unfortunately, the poor service completely ruined the experience. Based on how we were treated, we cannot recommend this pub and certainly won’t be coming back.
