The Pepper Pot

03/09/2025: Today i had the must lauded bacon and pear sandwich and i have to say it lived up to the hype! i have no idea what took me so long to visit the Pepper pot so i advise others don’t make my mistake GO! Did not get to try any cakes or pastries but i will as they look fabulous.
31/08/2025: Un bel endroit dans un bel espace! Nous avons pris le thé avec un gâteau qui étaient bons. Le cadre est très chouette et vaut le détour.

27/08/2025: I caught them on a bad day this time. No haddock, ling was nice but small, chips were warm, not hot and they had run out of Pelegrino lemon drink. My previous visit was 5 star for everything

03/07/2025: Rib roast 17:50 per portion. 2 of us ordered this. To say it was inedible is an understatement. Full of fat and tough as a boot The veg was like there was a film of grease on them Left most of it and just left. I heard its changed hands in the past year. It shows !!! Definitely wont be going there again

01/09/2025: Had breakfast with two friends , and all three had the same experience, our mushrooms and beans were cold , at nearly 17 euro a head , i don't think i would be having breakfast there again !

18/08/2025: Great location and staff. Had goats cheese with pears. Disappointed that serving was packed out with lettuce. Very little pear or goats cheese. Or other ingredients I’d expect.
10/08/2025: Food is good, service is poor. They said coffee could come after the meal, then brought it first. They got side orders wrong and then didn't bring a subsequent order for a scone. We had to have it to go but then it came without jam. It's a shame, nice place but I wouldn't go back

10/08/2025: The food is very limited, it’s expensive also,€9 for a toastie with no chips or salad. The quiche is fresh made, but very bland. We had expected better for the prices.
Since I can’t directly reply, , organic food can be made tasty, natural flavour's, herbs, spices, ye have an opportunity to improve, or tell the customer why your food is tasteless, that’s your decision. It’s not a debate, or an argument, if I did say it in person, the review would be the same, the food was as we received it- best of luck in your handling of criticism going forward

The cooking oil was not fresh judging by the taste of the onion rings and fries/chips.
The staff was very nice and professional though.

The atmosphere is warm: our server was professional, adorable, and funny at the same time. It's very good value for money. It's the best restaurant we've tried in Ireland. We'll come back if we have the opportunity.
