06/06/2025: Really good spot for lunch if you're after fish and chips. Always fresh and never greasy. One of my favourite places in Dublin.

18/05/2025: Next level Cafe. Cioppino was amazing, twice. Chicken sandwich also great. Service was kind and attentive. Atmosphere and setting was lovely. Def recommend, whether it’s brunch or any other meal.

13/04/2025: Estábamos aquí para el almuerzo del domingo. Tenía calamares crujientes para empezar. Estaba bien, pero claramente no había sido cocinado fresco. La masa tenía esa textura endurecida que muestra que se cocinó demasiado tiempo o fue en su segunda vez. Mi hamburguesa estaba bien. Mi hermana tenía lenguado de limón, que dijo que era excelente. Otro tenía la tortilla, que también estaba buena. El servicio también fue rápido y amable. Lo que realmente me desanimó, sin embargo, fueron dos tipos que trajeron un perro pequeño. Lo sentaron debajo de su mesa, y jadeó todo. Estaban alimentando a la maldita cosa de su mesa, y ladraba cada vez que quería más comida. NO hay lugar para perros (excepto el servicio) en los restaurantes, y me decepcionó que esto estaba permitido. Realmente necesitan cambiar su política a este respecto. En general, no fue una gran experiencia, pero fue bueno en partes. Volvería si cambiaran su política de perros.

26/05/2025: Great to see the Ardagh open for the season, a favourite of ours. I find the lobster hard to resist, but everything on the menu is great!

26/05/2025: We stayed at the Ardagh Hotel over the weekend and honestly couldn’t recommend it enough. We traveled as a couple with our dog, and were so impressed by how dog-friendly the hotel is—dogs are welcome in most areas as long as they’re on the lead. The room, while on the smaller side, had everything we needed and was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was a lovely cooked breakfast each morning. We also had dinner at the hotel restaurant and it was fantastic—a delicious three-course meal with excellent vegetarian options. The hotel itself is well maintained, with amazing views and a peaceful setting. It’s in a great location too—just under a 10-minute drive from Clifden town. The staff were lovely as well, really friendly and accommodating. Overall, we had such a lovely stay and will definitely be back!

19/05/2025: Went here yesterday and the customer service was shockingly bad was asked 3 times are we ready to order are ye using them two extra seats etc but when came to actually needing a staff no one around! Left tables fill with empty drinks and no wiping down Go to bar to order all drinks and food. Eventually picked our food placed order it was the worst I've had in a very very long time!! Salad have a handful of lettuce 1 tomato 3 chopped onions garlic bread was like cardboard steak sandwich shocking ragging I didn't take pictures

12/05/2025: This pub offers a solid experience. The tap beer was fresh, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was enjoyable, enhanced by the live music. The fish and chips here is so good.

05/05/2025: Myself and four biker friends stopped here for a bite to eat and something to wash it down with today. We sat outside beside the canal at the back of the bar / restaurant which turned out to be a fantastic outdoor space to just chill and take in the good weather. We ordered the two outdoor meals for €35 each which consisted of four 12" pizzas of your choice, four bags of fries, two trays of chicken wings of choice and two salads of choice to go with. Everything was freshly made and cooked. Have to say that all was fantastic. It was our first time here and would highly recommend it as a stopping point for some really good F & B. The staff were very friendly and very welcoming and could not do enough for us. Overall from a first visit point of view, we will visit again and we will highly recommend to others 👍🏻😉😁

31/05/2025: Desayuno decente, buen tamaño de la porción y la relación calidad-precio tampoco está mal. El restaurante en sí es un poco desalmado, pero es difícil crear un buen ambiente en un lugar grande y de estilo de alta rotación.

13/05/2025: We enjoyed our stay at Blarney Woolen Mills. We loved that we could walk over to the Blarney Castle it's so close. Breakfast was amazing.

09/05/2025: Excellent food for a good price. Service super friendly. Cajun Chicken Burger is highly recommended. If you don't want a TV with your meal, you'll have to find another place. A rugby match tonight.

10/05/2025: Nice spot, food was expensive for the portion size, but food was delish, Cant blame places for charging high price's, when our government is crippling the industry with their high taxes . But alas, great buzz, service was great and you have lots of afterdrinks options close by

28/04/2025: We had a wonderful lunch. We started with the pork tacos, which were delicious; then we moved on to the pork ribs, which were magnificent. The octopus was divine, the focaccia was a real dream and, to finish, the cheesecake and the DB tart left us speechless. All of this was complemented by the excellent service and professionalism of Martine and Lucas. I highly recommend them!

29/05/2025: The fish and chips were pretty bad - fish was really greasy like the fryer wasn’t hot enough. For the price would expect better food preparation.

30/05/2025: We had an incredible time at O'Dwyers Gastro Pub! From the moment we were seated, the service was warm and attentive. The food? Absolutely perfect. We ordered the chicken wings, buffalo cauliflower, and potato skins – and every single dish was spot on. The wings were crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The buffalo cauliflower had just the right amount of heat and crunch, and the potato skins were golden, cheesy, and addictive. You can tell everything is made with care, and the flavors were balanced and satisfying. We’ll definitely be coming back – highly recommend for anyone who loves great food in a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere!
