Went there with some friends after class about 9:00 p.m. on a Thursday and there was live music good atmosphere but actually easy enough to get a seat for our small group of 5 in a quiet spot down the back.

Big disappointment! The bouncer, so heavily criticized in the reviews, wasn't there tonight, May 11, 2026. We were really hoping to see him, as well as the waitress. Unfortunately, only very friendly guys were there. A great evening so far.

Our server Jack took exceptional care of us in the Snug (look it up but in short, it’s a relatively enclosed space for privacy).
The food was not typical for a “pub” but included Mauritius styled beef stir fry that was as flavorful as it was tender. Unexpected yet rediculously delicious!! My wife had the curried chicken that was lightly spicy and again amazing!
We also enjoyed trad tunes of the tin whistle, squeeze box and smooth vocals.
I expressed an interest to Jack for some Irish Whiskey recommendations. He proposed a Powers John Lane Whiskey that was smooth as silk and far superior to the Jameson I was accustomed to. It paired well with the Murphys porter I was already drinking.
Then, Ricky joined us to share his encyclopedic knowledge of Irish Whiskey history and recommendations. It was in a word - amazing. I learned more in our 10 minute discussion on Irish whiskey than I had ever learned in my 7 decades on this earth. For my nightcap, he suggested a Redbreast whiskey neat that was in my price range yet marvelous.
Ricky introduced us to the manager who sat with us for a couple of minutes and helped us understand Dwyers business model which was basically good food, good vibes, well vetted staff and - a fricken good time.
Nuff said. Ask for Jack as your server and Ricky as your Irish Whiskey expert. We hope to travel back for a proper tasting in the future.
What A Night. Thanks to all.

We just stopped for drinks and music and being a cocktail connoisseur myself ordered my usual margarita. The bar tender serving I think his name was Ricky he was so nice and clearly really enjoyed what he done. He told us all about the ingredients in our drink and was more than happy to listen to us babble about how we liked our specific cocktail. To be honest i usually hate paying for cocktails but on this particular occasion i felt I got every cent worth of my money. This guy really enjoys his job and has a real lovely way with customers. It was the best margarita I’ve ever drank. It’s refreshing to see someone love what that they do! The whole experience was 10/10

I love Dwyer's! The vibe is so energetic. Bottomless brunch is so great, they are very active with refilling. Outside of bottomless brunch, I find service to be lacking a little. Long waits for drinks and ordering. But staff are VERY attentive during brunch so I am very happy to go there anytime for brunch!

This place is fantastic! The pub itself is incredibly cozy, with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff were all super friendly and efficient – they were cleaning tables constantly and always with a smile. It creates a really nice vibe.
There was also a live music act playing during our visit, which really added to the experience.
Even though I don't drink alcohol, my friends assure me the beer selection was excellent and the quality was top-notch.
However, the only negative point was the weather. It was cold, windy, and raining during our visit. Unfortunately, they wouldn't let us lower the blinds to shield ourselves from the cold, which was a bit of a disappointment and made our time there less comfortable than it could have been.
Overall, it's a lovely pub with great people and music, but they should really address that cold issue when the weather gets bad.
