Pretty alright. Tasty salad, salmon. A bit disappointed in the apple crumble.

Very disappointing experience at this bar. I felt I was treated unfairly and experienced behaviour that I perceived as racist. Everyone deserves equal respect, regardless of their background. I hope the management takes this seriously and ensures all customers are treated equally.

I'm very satisfied because my partner and I went for lunch and I ordered salmon without specifying that I'm lactose intolerant. When the dish arrived, I immediately realized my mistake because it was a cream sauce and I couldn't eat it. I explained this to the waitress, and she promptly offered me another salmon dish and asked how I wanted it prepared and what side dish I'd like. The new dish they served was delicious, perfectly cooked with vegetables and fries; in short, I loved it. The manager came to ask if everything was alright. Thank you for your kindness, professionalism, and all the attention we received. We'll be back soon.

Fantastic spot staff are amazing and accommodating, food is fabulous highly recommend

We returned recently for a late lunch. We were hungry and I had lamb and my partner salmon. I had a lovely pint of Beamish. When the food arrived my partner who is a doctor said she couldn't eat the salmón dish because it was smothered in a milk based sauce and she she lactose intolerant. I offered to swop distes. I mentioned it to the waitress and I have never seen such a positive response. A new dish was prepared with roast potatoes instead of Mass (milk and butter). Separate sides of chips and salad were also provided. The manager came to ask was there anything else they could do to help. The food was superb but I don't have words to describe the care and friendliness of the staff. We will be back.

The new menu is exceptional. Really tasty. Lovely wines. Service friendly and efficient.
