The service here is normal very good but the 2 guys on the main bar on Staint Patrick's day were unnecessarily rude.
Put us off staying any longer than the few drinks we ordered.
Very disappointing.

29/04/2026: I stopped by Fureys Bar during my trip after spotting it earlier on Google Earth while planning. It’s a small but incredibly cozy place with an excellent lunch menu. The service was very friendly, and the Guinness tasted outstanding. I can highly recommend Fureys Bar and will definitely come back.

05/04/2026: Spacious but cosy bar, open fire, plenty of seating both inside and out. Customers range from young families, to young couples to families with teens. Football and rugby matches also shown for sports fans. In short a place for everyone. Food was delicious and very filling. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

14/04/2026: I had chicken and broccoli pasta my grandson asked for plain pasta I did not look at the Bill until I took it out next day .I went back expecting a refund but was told he had an adult portion and that if you order a Burger without onion or whatever you pay full price my argument is it was plain pasta he never said he wanted chicken and Broccoli pasta €19 for a 11 year old is ridiculous. I was a regular customer but will no longer be.

Steak dinner/house burger was absolutely super and great value.

19/02/2026: Had a delightful breakfast here with a pint of coors, slugged it back quick and my server Niamh was most complimentary! 😮💨😮💨 The breakfast was delicious hit that spot I was looking for a felt like a fat pig rolling out of the gaff!! The Service was top class not too long but also not too quick so I knew it was fresh 🌶️. Don’t even get me started on them beans 🫘

23/02/2026: The Drift Inn is a brilliant spot — especially for the rugby. There’s always a great atmosphere on match days, plenty of energy, and good banter all around.
The pizzas are excellent when they’re on (definitely worth getting), though they’re not always available — so worth checking ahead.
Great staff, friendly crowd, and proper good craic. A top local.
