10/09/2025: Great service and nice selection of treats for all the family. The wooden barrel seating area is a favourite with the kids. Staff are fantastic and the service is excellent. A must stop when driving through Carrick on Shannon.

10/09/2025: Ordered a toasted ham and cheese sandwich. Only the bread was toasted, filling in the center was still cold. Wouldn't eat there again.

12/10/2025: A great option if you're in the area. It has its own parking lot. We chose traditional food, but they also serve burgers. The atmosphere is good, the staff is friendly, and the prices are typical for Ireland.

11/10/2025: In the heart of this small Irish town, I found this beautiful place run by three young, very kind and delightful women. I ate very well, and the prices are much lower than in nearby towns. The selection of beers is as vast as ever, and the dishes are carefully prepared, plentiful, and delicious. It's worth stopping in for lunch or dinner.

20/09/2025: Saturday 30th August 2025 had the pleasure of enjoying bottomless brunch to celebrate my daughter turning 21. From the moment we were seated we were looked after so we'll by all your staff. One server Ruth was fantastic she is a treasure. The food was unreal. We will be back again soon thank you for such incredible cocktails, food and 10/10 hospitality.

15/10/2025: It's touted on social media as a must-do in Galway, but unfortunately, it doesn't live up to the hype. We had fish and chips with mushy peas. The fish was okay, but the chips and beans weren't tasty at all. It's not exactly cheap either; I'd go to another restaurant for THE meal in Galway.

14/10/2025: The worse and the most expensive fish and chips I had in my life. The fish wasn’t cooked thoroughly even though it was soaked in the butter coating grease. Immediately had the runs! Wouldn’t recommend not only for the food but overall not a good experience.

14/09/2025: Stopped for a dinner late Thursday afternoon. Very busy inside. Yet we got seated . Service was prompt unfortunately messed up our order. Food was reasonable, prices a bit higher.

05/10/2025: Stopped here for lunch. Had the soup of the day with the soda bread, and the crumble. Incredible food for a great price. Definetly stop here.

04/08/2025: Stayed for one night bed, breakfast and dinner with my good friend. We had 2 single rooms, bed and pillows were so comfortable. Everything catered for in the room. Fabulous old world charming building, with its own orchard and garden growing herbs, vegetables, flowers etc. The food was amazing. Dinner menu had varied choices to suit and was presented so well. The homemade bread was fabulous. I had scallop for starter and Monkfish for mains and a rhubarb dessert. All delicious. My friend had a fish starter and rack of lamb. Potato and vegetable served on the side along with a cheese board. Food was fantastic. We really enjoyed our evening. The owner John Edward hands on approach is wonderful, a true professional 👏 and to all his team. There was a personal friendly feel. I would definitely go back there again. Great value for money. It would be a very special place for a small wedding, family get together, or friends gathering for a night or two. We bumped into old friends of mine who joined us in the drawing room for a great catch up. Added bonus to our lovely stay at The Mustard Seed. They accept blue book vouchers too.

23/05/2025: We had dinner here tonight for my husbands birthday. I have to say our meal, and our evening was sublime. The food was exceptional and the service was excellent. We really enjoyed our night. This is a restaurant that takes pride in the food it serves. We have eaten here on a number of occasions over the years from the time it was on The Avenue in Gorey, to now, on the Main Street. The quality and inventiveness of the dishes continues to impress. The menu is based on what is freshly available in season which makes for wonderful food. We cannot recommend The Bistro enough to anyone who loves good food.

07/10/2025: I dropped into Bobby Byrnes Gastro Pub in O Connel St Limerick this evening Thursday the 18th of December Absolutely gem of a bar restaurant All the staff made me feel so welcome and at home Especially the Lady called Aishling? who served me and looked after me Plus I also booked a table for 4 for tomorrow evening it was that good Guinness world class and the food was awesome Thank you for looking me Kind regards John P Corbett

06/10/2025: I have visited Peploe's many times and the service, food and premises are always excellent. I had to move a booking from 8.30pm to 9pm last weekend due to a taxi being 45mins late. The staff were so helpful and accommodating. I couldn't have asked for more. After arriving flustered, I was made feel at home and the service was so good and friendly that I was put at my ease and turned a potentially stressful evening it to on of the nicest I have had in a long time. Thank you to all at Peploe's.
