01/06/2026: Possibly the best steak in Ireland , the staff are on the ball and very very attentive for a small rural town it definitely gives big city standards

14/08/2026: The place, ambiance, setting was absolutely stunning. Requested the best seat with good view and was seated in front of the window with the view of golf course. Such an experience with a food that’s not just pretty on the eyes but actually satisfies you, portion and taste wise. They’re very creative but not out of proportions, just enough to blow your mind and make you want to try other dishes. There was a harp lady inside the restaurant and an irish folk music outside the bar. Very classy. The staff is also top notch, guiding you along the way, very friendly. I’ve tried couple of fine dining restaurants in Limerick and this tops the list so far! Not exaggerating, this might be one of the best dining experience I have. Worth every penny spent.

25/07/2026: This is a truly exceptional restaurant. The food, the staff, the harpist, all absolutely top notch. And I have to give a shout out to Ricardo, the sommelier. Let him pair your meal. You won't regret it. He'll make every bite an dream. Can't recommend enough!

11/06/2026: I am writing this review specifically because of one of your staff members Becca. Vibrant fun and full of energy - I have years of experience working in hospitality and also attending weddings and she is genuinely a super star and knows how to engage and have fun. Best of luck with everything and do not lose your shine! In terms of the venue I was blown away I fell in love with it, and within seconds knew we will be booking this venue for our big day I would say service was good, friendly and experienced. Again Becca stole the show - nothing worse than an NPC serving at a wedding and becca was the main character (bar the bride and groom) not a paid ad. Just seriously impressed.

10/06/2026: Fantastic area to visit amd amazing hotel to stay a long relaxing week or weekend. Would recommend to friends amd family who enjoy the best of what's to offer here.

28/09/2026: My partner and myself had a lovely meal here on a Saturday night. Paul and Helen are exceptional at what they do and I'd highly recommend for anyone to try it. We enjoyed every course. Nothing was too experimental the way some Michelins can be sometimes. It was just good food cooked well with great service.

24/09/2026: Very cozy! Great shots and lots of different spaces to sit with your company. The ladies behind the bar were very sweet!

22/09/2026: Friendly team and location is great. We booked due to an cancellation and what we got wasnt what we expected. Then reviewing the pics on the site off booking dot com it was visible the room we had. Room was clean and tidy. We didnt like a bed by a large window and it wasnt the most comfortable of beds. Suggest bunks ir make it a sweet single than two seperate beds. Best thing is they serve food all day and has a lift and is extremely central for buses etc. And staff always very helpful and loads of visitor Information.

18/04/2026: Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Nice little walk to Blarney Castle grounds. Several places to eat within walking distance. Highly recommend!!

10/04/2026: Beautiful hotel, just a short walk from blarney castle, we had a gorgeous and fantastic service from the majority of the staff, the showers could’ve been a bit hotter and some areas could have done with some extra dusting but, the food was tasty and the portions were generous and the beds were so comfortable I could barely get out of bed in morning!

03/10/2026: Dropped in for an inpromptu Breakfast, brunch in Andersons of the Rise Glasnevin! Loved it. Great atmosphere, foody emporium decor, fresh well presented food, fab engaging service, very attentative and friendly staff. Sean Hession aka Irish Frank Sinatra plays tonight. You cant go wrong here for sure. Congrats to all involved. D.

09/09/2026: A pretty pleasant place. The food is good, though the service—specifically the owner—is a joke. He’s unpleasant and can ruin even the best atmosphere. There are plenty of other places where you can get a good meal. I do not recommend it.

14/08/2026: Everything about this restaurant was absolutely great! The girl serving us was so lovely and friendly. The chicken curry we delicious. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone! The music was relaxing and the design of the restaurant was beautiful.

23/10/2026: Thomas was so awesome!! Historical review of ownership of the various pubs and coffee shops they have around the world... Food is amazing! Chili (as in chili fries and baked potato) was spicy enough and excellent in terms of American taste. Beers were cold and ready on demand! Pub is comfy, cozy, and big enough for groups. Meanwhile, I'll have another smithwicks!!

23/10/2026: At top notch establishment with great fish and chips and a quality pint to celebrate a great day in the Malahide downtown district after Malahide castle visit

10/10/2026: First visit today for the new lunch menu. Service was great, food was excellent, and the decor was very cool. Lunch for three was reasonablly priced for the quality of the food. I’d definitely recommend to put this on the list. I’ll definitely be back! Also dog friendly into the left bar.

10/10/2026: Such fresh seafood dishes, a lovely atmosphere, and a friendly, welcoming team. Highly recommend!

07/10/2026: Quite cheap, good road stop restaurant. The portion sizes are very big, I ordered their garlic cheese chips for 6 euro and got a massive plate full of big hot homemade chips. Great.

06/10/2026: Staff are nice, the place and the vibe is nice, but my fish and chips were absolutely shocking. I’ve had over done chicken moister than that fish, and both packets of mustard next to the ketchup had a date of 02/05/2022, which was a month ago, the closest thing to what came out of those mustard packets was pure diarrhoea :/

13/10/2026: Hi i was in the cellar bar Saturday evening gone 10/10/26 we came out to celebrate the results of my son passing his junior cert what was supposed to be a lovely evening turned into a disaster I ordered a steak so did my son and and the rest of the family ordered there meals a quarter way through my food i found a pubic hair or from a beard but it was a hair of some kind in my food I felt like vomiting so I asked a waitress to come and look obviously to do something about so she brought the plate to her manager african irish which was so ignorant any way the waitress brings me back the plate and said the manager said it was a mushroom strand I took up the rib and pulled it and it wouldn't break it was a hair any way i asked to speak to the manager and she said I'm not gonna change my decision you can eat it or not im not a manager or dont no managing skills but if I was working in a restaurant I wouldn't talk to my customers like that so she took the plate and brought it away she was being very rude I said being honest but I didn't eat that food there was a hair in it I'm not paying specifically for that meal but ill pay for the rest in which I did and I gave the bar man a tip she said to me your not welcome here any more and then when I was walking out the door there was a blonde hair lady that started waving her hands and screaming silently behind my back were my wife seen here i dont no who owns the cellar bar but I'd look into getting different manager and the rest of your staff was very nice except for that 1 blonde hair girl and the African irish lady she said I won't be welcoming you back dont worry love I wouldn't like to go back to a restaurant with vile woman and attitude like you have a look at the camera @cellar bar galway you will see what i mean thanks thats all I've to say
