20/06/2026: Nice location in centre of town near theatre and college for lunch. Can be hard to find if not familiar with Carlow but Google Maps will bring you to it.

14/06/2026: We had a lunch with the in-laws in the upstairs rooms and it was the best service we've experienced anywhere in a long time. From the minute we arrived the staff was very attentive and friendly, we were grateful for the sea view table. We were looked after several different waiters and the whole team seemed well organised and we were checked on often, water was refilled frequently and the food arrived fast. Everything went smooth and the food was delicious and well presented. The perfect Sunday lunch for an early Father's day for my father in law. Thank you Martello restaurant! We'll be back soon hopefully!

16/06/2026: If traditional Ireland is what you are after then Molloy’s is the perfect place. Great rooms to stay, welcoming atmosphere, local personalities and the best poured Guinness around - smooth like ice cream ❤️

28/06/2026: Cool vibe with good food options of pizza snd small South American/mexican menu. Service was pleasant and friendly. It’s a rustic outside area but personally felt it could do with a bit of a clean especially the bathrooms. Drinks are pricey but would return. Nice setting by the river

08/07/2026: Amazing place with wonderful food and wonderful people. The soup and sandwiches are not only affordable but delicious. You must stop and have Bulmers or Guinness if you visit Baltimore, West Cork!
