14/04/2025: ¡Nos encantó! Es una posición privilegiada, es un gran bar viejo, el servicio es bueno, va a atraer al turista, por lo tanto, probablemente un poco más caro que otros. Lo sabíamos, nos sentamos allí durante dos horas y disfrutamos mucho! Había algunos lugareños allí, charlamos y simplemente disfrutamos de estar en una calle bulliciosa con un montón de cosas pasando, tomando un par de copas y disfrutando del ambiente. El personal era genial, el servicio era bueno y sin duda volveríamos a visitar. Una pinta de cerveza pálida y un café irlandés era de alrededor de 16 euros, no el más barato, pero era bueno.

08/04/2025: After a long walk to the Bray beach, i visited the restaurant in Martello Hotel with my family. We were so hungry and how we realised later We really made the right choice. The food was so nice and fresh, and the service from Sarah was quick and professional. She was very polite and made us feel very welcome. We are living around 80 km away, but we will definitely be back again. Highly recommend this place to everyone.

21/02/2025: Wonderful "old world" hotel right in Adare village. Spacious rooms. Very comfortable, if some might consider "tired", we found comforting. Excellent dinner, rib of beef proper medium rare, to die for.

15/03/2025: It was such a wonderful place. Highly recommend! I got very homely feeling and everyone was so welcoming and helpful. They make the best food. Service was also so good. It is a must visit and worth it. Also it is a warm dine in for couples too😃

10/02/2025: Travelling through Glenties, Co. Donegal, my wife, myself and Ruby, our Cockapoo dog stopped at The Thatch where we enquired about Sunday Lunch. As we are only too well aware ‘Dog Friendly’ premises are few and far between in many parts of Donegal. No problem to the Thatch, they were more than kind welcoming to us all. We had an excellent Lunch, I had the Special, Lamb Tikka Masala, Rice and Chips, with a Nann Bread, which was specially made with No Garlic, my wife had Asian Salmon, with Asian Salad and Fries - The food was all of Hotel Standard, better than many of the Hotels we have eaten in. Roisin, who was in charge and Nadeen who served us were most attentive, they could not have been nicer. In addition we had wanted to watch the Ireland v Scotland Rugby Match, again no problem. Before finishing my wife went for the Berry Crumble which was delicious ! We will not drive past The Thatch again - the place is well worth visiting, loved it ! To the owners, your Staff are well worth holding onto, they are a worthy addition to your business, oh and hold on to the Chef 👍

20/03/2025: Lovely bar and great food. We even got a quick game of darts on the Friday night. Best chowder in Donegal. Great chips. We didnt taste the Sunday lunch but omg we wished we had they looked delicious. Ps great Guiness.

14/04/2025: I had a truly lovely experience at this restaurant in Donegal. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with a peaceful charm that makes you want to take your time and enjoy every detail. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, making us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. The food was absolutely delightful… fresh ingredients, beautifully balanced flavors, and a thoughtful presentation that showed real care. And the view… simply breathtaking. Overlooking the sea, the scenery adds a magical touch to the whole experience. Watching the waves while enjoying a beautifully prepared meal felt like a gentle escape from the everyday rush. A beautiful hidden gem in Donegal. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

22/02/2025: Just had the most delicious gluten free meal in Jennys Kitchen. Would highly recommend. We left with a goodie box of 7 different Gluten Free cakes for just €22. Incredible value for money. Thanks guys. We will be back.

11/02/2025: 'On a Platter' has been our go-to local shop for over a decade, and we couldn’t live without it! Kevin and the team are a special part of the community - always ready to greet you with a warm smile:) The deli food, catering, coffees, and cakes are all irresistible, and the kids love the ice cream and jellies! Thank you for being so amazing!

02/04/2025: We where able to book the studio at an hour's notice for three nights, the accommodation was excellent, spotless and had all one needed. In the centre of the town, and our young Cockapoo was made more than welcome, even in the bar. Staff and locals absolutely friendly and the proprietor and his wife, made us feel relaxed and welcome. Highly recommend the bridge inn for atmosphere and if you want to explore the local scenery of Donegal. We will definitely be back. Betty Charlie and Mitzi.

20/03/2025: Where to start, great food, staff,entertainment, spotless surroundings, Keith the manager who went above and beyond as did all of his staff. Look out for Elvis Pawsley when you visit, just ask anyone in the bar....

27/03/2025: Food is ok, bit overpriced for pub grub. Service is top notch. However, €7.10 for a pint of Guinness is criminal. Greystones must be the new Temple Bar.

23/03/2025: The lads who served us, have the right personal approach to customers, they take the order and follow it through; they serve, they check, they manage the bill, like a family owned business :-)

18/03/2025: A friend and I popped in here for several pints having completed the Aware Harbour to Harbour walk on St Patrick's Day. A lively atmosphere and charming bar staff. Just be warned - they don't serve food here any longer. But the Guinness is great!

02/04/2025: Came in for a few with my family. The staff was exciting and generous. We came back again after dinner and was greeted warmly again.
