14/06/2025: Super delicious dinner (1 x sirloin steak, 1 x salmon, 1 Malteser cheesecake), friendly staff, quick service - all around top!

31/05/2025: We are a family of three adults. I’m coeliac ( gluten free) and my daughter has a serious nut allergy. When we arrived, without a reservation, we explained our dietary issues. The lady we spoke with could not have been nicer. “My mother is coeliac and there are no nuts in the kitchen”. She was friendly and warm and very reassuring. A very helpful server showed us to our table and took out order. One GF burger, one burger and one chickpea pea burger. When the meal arrived I was very impressed my burger was delicious. And the waitress told us that all our fries were GF so we could share. If I lived near I would eat here often and try the steak which the table beside us praised highly. It was lovely to eat somewhere that understood our dietary needs so well.

08/06/2025: Had the classic. Great home made sausage with just the right spices. Roll held together till the end. Onions and peppers were tender and fresh.

04/06/2025: Contained in the huge English Market SC ,this place stands out from all the other exceptional vendors. Just a small stall with usually only 3 workers, it can turn out food to die for. All sandwiches are make rite on the spot. You can customize or order any of the house specials. Grab a special, find a quiet spot, (not possible) and enjoy.

13/07/2025: We had a delicious meal, truly Irish. Such friendly service. We also experienced an Irish music evening with singing and instruments. We weren't allowed to leave. We were offered a whiskey; what friendly people.

01/09/2025: Such a vibrant place, always busy and buzzing but the food was terrible. I ordered the mushroom bruschetta with parmesan which was lovely (and the only good thing I’ve had that evening), burger which was very dry and their lava cake for dessert which was very dry as well. It feels like that cake has been on the fridge for ages, that all the moist that it should have was all gone. You can even see it in the picture.

29/08/2025: Great food and a lot to do around there. Really close to Sean’s bar in a huge castle that you can tour.

15/08/2025: Had lunch there and was lovely. Portions are a bit small but the food was great nonetheless. Unfortunate how they don’t have Guinness at the bar :(

05/07/2025: Really nice gluten free cafe.. limited options, sandwiches, soup, Quiche.. gorgeous selection of treats, desserts and crumbles. The seating area is very poor, limited seating available. The Cafe lacks ambience, no atmosphere, the decor is bland. But as a coeliac it is a delightful experience. .

15/08/2025: Great place for a Sunday lunch or similar. Is always busy so best to book. Adequate parking. 2025..still good, friendly staff.

25/08/2025: Sadly, my decaf coffee was very bitter, watery and ‘cloudy’, a big disappointment. My husband’s flat white was served in a small glass, which is a pet hate. Perhaps staff should ask before serving hot drinks in glassware! Very overpriced at €4+ per drink. The outdoor space is on the narrow pavement on a very busy road. Not great. Staff are nice, but the place is over rated.

25/08/2025: A very exciting menu to choose from followed by delicious food and great coffee. We really enjoyed Budd’s and look forward to returning!

22/06/2025: Visited today. The atmosphere was lovely and the staff were really professional. Starter and dessert were both very good. The main was just okay — I had high expectations based on the reviews, but it didn’t quite deliver. My partner’s steak was blue inside instead of medium rare, with a few chunks of fat and no seasoning + no steak knife, which left him a bit frustrated. I’d return for the setting and service, but probably not for the food.

21/05/2025: I got to luckily photograph a wedding at this gorgeous little venue a couple of week ago. And if you're looking for a venue for a more intimate stress free wedding I can't recommend this enough. Amazing staff, quirky features well it was a post office which is so cool and the grounds are beautifully kept. looking forward to being back soon :) Andy @ forgedinlovephotography

22/08/2025: A sensational and friendly cafe in a quaint country town with a fabulous menu and brilliant coffee. We had the almond croissant and the blueberry pancakes and they were amazing .

29/07/2025: If someone is fond of the McCabes beans, that’s the place for them. I absolutely don’t like this producer, hence this wouldn’t be my favourite coffee shop. The girls at the till are so nice, though, hence the atmosphere of the place is really good 🤩 I also really like the sausage rolls in the Cafe, but I haven’t tried any other food.

15/08/2025: The food is lovely. The cakes are delicious. The prices are good. The flies are a nightmare but seasonal. The decor needs an upgrade.

11/08/2025: This is renamed to Navy with new owners. Staff are lovely. Definitely recommend making a reservation to avoid disappointment but staff were able to accommodate me for lunch. Food was delicious, and staff are attentive and professional. Lovely decor and atmosphere. It's a very busy establishment but run extremely well. I tried the Bay View, sweet potatoe fries and their slaw and it did not disappoint. Definitely will be back. Coffee is good too. Highly recommend a visit. If youre not local, there is parking a short walk in either direction or the bus stop is a short walk either.

04/09/2025: This place is in an excellent location, especially if you are following the Wild Atlantic Way. Food and bar service were good. However, room was very basic and our bathroom was poorly equipped. We also had a problem getting the door open, the manager on site had to call a locksmith. We were able to get in about 9pm. At this point and after a long day we went to bed. We were then woken at 9.45pm by a persistent knock at the door, the staff member was there asking us to pay for our dinner. Bearing in mind we were stay overnight, it seemed excessive to be waking us up to request payment. My husband had to get dressed and go back to the bar. Hence 2 stars for service.

04/09/2025: The rooms had a bright green exit sign that did not shut off so the room was not dark. Other than that it was great. Food was ok Pub was amazing
