16/06/2026: Albeit our (2) stay was only for one night for a wedding hosted not far from Ballycotton we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Cool staff. Cool bar. Tasty Grub. COMFY BED. What more d'ya want!? 10/10 would highly recommend 👌

19/05/2026: We had a wonderful stay at the Schooner Bar B&B. The accommodation was ideal for our trip — very clean, comfortable, and well maintained throughout. The staff were exceptionally friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home from the moment we arrived. The breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious and really set us up perfectly for the day ahead. A sincere thank you to everyone for your hospitality and excellent service. We would highly recommend the Schooner Bar B&B to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

21/07/2025: Beautiful hotel! The room was comfortable and clean, the staff was welcoming and very hospitable, and the food at the on-site restaurant was great. It is a bit isolated, but if you're staying for a night or two, it's absolutely perfect. Plus, many of the rooms have a balcony - a very nice touch!

21/07/2025: Beautiful hotel. Spacious room, lovely setting. Easy check in. Friendly staff. Super clean, even the tv remote was in a plastic protector!! Used the leisure centre which was relaxing. Evening meal was gorgeous. Lovely spacious areas to sit and relax on all floors. Can not fault our stay.

22/04/2026: Food was quite good when it finally came but service was so slow it detracted from our enjoyment. Management clearly has staffing issues as, despite us being in there at prime time dinner hour, they only had two staff, one of which who was doing almost nothing. Thankfully the petite, blond haired girl ran around serving everyone like she was working by herself. Took us almost 20 mins to just get our drinks delivered and about 45 mins for our meals to come. For the price of the food, management owes their clientele better service than this!

13/06/2026: Witnessed Manager giving out to bartenders and employees in front of customers. Guys doing their best but management just being disrespectful Horrible atmosphere God bless to staff. Hold strong 💪

01/06/2026: The place is ok, the Guinness is okay, and the service was good as well. My wife’s drinks were amazing, and the place is pet friendly. However, we were charged a 12.5% service fee just for using the terrace during summer (table for two). The menu says the service charge only applies to tables with more than 5 people, but when we asked the waiter, he called the manager, who said the fee applies to anyone sitting on the terrace (!?!?). Overall, the place is nice, the beer is good, and the cocktails look great, but be aware of the 12.5% service charge for apparently no reason.

26/02/2026: Loved it! The hotel has a lovely vibe with lots of areas to sit and enjoy your coffee. Newly renovated room with comfortable beds. The shower was fantastic with really good water pressure. Would definitely stay again.

31/05/2026: Scalding hot coffee. Kids burnt chips , double dipped. Breakfast was stone cold, bread had a bad taste from It . Staff very inexperienced, slow as a wet week. not clued in at all. First and last time unfortunately.

30/05/2026: A grand spot altogether. We had dinner outside at a large covered picnic table. The food was good and there’s loads of choice on the menu. Great space outside for kids to run around.

14/04/2026: Nice open prawn sandwich. Reasonably priced too. For a coffee shop - its does the job.

11/06/2026: Glaushaus is very handy for Tallaght hospital or the Reeves centre. The rooms are clean with TV and tea making facilities. Ate in the bar and the food was inedible. Service was very poor and despite our 2 dishes uneaten we were not even asked if everything was ok.

01/06/2026: Our room was not cleaned, when we mentioned this they didn't believe us, so they came up to check, of course they apologized afterwards and we got a new room, but still. We had breakfast packed because our plane left early, but we shouldn't have because it was pretty poor (water, yogurt, dry oat bars, dry bread, butter).
