First time eating in the hunters rest, and it definitely won't be my last. When we arrived the place was absolutely packed and we had around a half hour wait at the bar. This is OK as I take it as a good sign the food must be nice. We were shown to our table eventually and afterwards were served pretty quickly. I can only say the food was exceptional, really top quality. It was also great value for money, which is so important in this day and age. As a family of 5, we were all delighted that we decided to come to the Hunters Rest for our Sunday dinner. Thank you again to everybody who looked after us. You have a real gem on your hands here.
