The Lighthouse Cafe

21/03/2025: Such a lovely place! The staff is friendly and the environment is cozy. I ate a bowl with roasted pumpkin and vegan feta which was epic! I also recommend trying their Masala Chai, absolutely loved it!
25/02/2025: We happily stumbled across this lovely little spot on my last full day in Galway. The atmosphere inside was calm and peaceful and the food was absolutely delicious. My brother and his daughter enjoyed a warming soup, my 2 year old niece ate it all up so it must have been delicious! I enjoyed a platter with a variety of different vegetables both cooked and fresh and some yummy rice. Such a lovely place to sit, watch the world go by, and enjoy a nourishing meal made with love with family. Thank you for the lovely service also. I would recommend Jemi Lighthouse, to all my friends and family, and will come again during my next visit to Galway.

08/07/2024: Was brought to Susie’s Bistro in Tubbercurry Golf Course for a Sunday luncheon with a friend, and from start to finish, you couldn’t find fault with the service or the food.
Would definitely recommend Susie’s Bistro for any occasion as it’s 5 star service.
The roast beef is simply delicious 😋

10/03/2025: Lovely stop on the way back from Sligo Town to Foxford. Great food and large portions. Also cappuccino’s were delicious and although we were too full to order dessert they looked simply amazing.

11/04/2025: 1 hour waiting for food on a sunny Friday afternoon. No communication about the obvious issues in the kitchen. First time visit from a new Rathfarnham resident, won't be back for many years.
07/04/2025: Absolutely dreadful. Waited far too long for the food but sorry when it arrived. Supposedly creamy mashed potatoes that were made out of old roasted potatoes including the skin.
A chicken burger that was inedible. Looked like it had been deep fried for far too long.
Complained to server who came back and thanked us for our feedback! Said that there was a new chef. Charged full cost. No offer of a reduction or refund. Won’t be going back.

15/03/2025: avoid like the plague looks great on the outside and on the inside but that's just for the tourists got mushrooms to start I found them absolutely undercooked but others at the table found them OK got a chicken curry half rice and chips both of us and the chicken was pink raw and undercooked so put it to the chicken to the side from both plates with the raw showing on 2 separate side plate waitress can over to pick up the plates saw the chicken and just took them away and then to be charged full price without even a manager to atleast say sorry for the raw and undercooked chicken all in all 15.50 for a 3 in 1 that you could get in any Chinese take away for less than half the price

04/04/2025: Amazing. Food and drinks came so fast. I'm a vegetarian, so always struggle to find food in BBQ type resteraunts, but the Moving Mountains burger was so tasty!!!
03/04/2025: Unfortunately there seemed to be a couple of things missing like classic coke and ice for drinks. Luckily the waitress found a coke in the store room and was kind enough to offer it to me. The service was great and the food was good. Worth a visit even if it is a bit out of the way
