Was here in a group yesterday. Absolutely amazing service from a server called Zara! I would definitely recommend the Patriots Inn.

Dog friendly. We needed to dodge a rain shower so grabbing a pint made sense. I'm giving the Patriots Inn top marks for welcoming us inside for a lovely pint and great service.

Decent pub to drop into before going to the gaol. Soup was decent but could have done with an extra slice of soda bread. Staff were fairly pleasant.

The place is dated and honestly had a slight smell that we almost left when we walked in. So glad we didn’t because the burger, potato wedges and onion rings was one of our favorite meals in Ireland(and Scotland)

18/05/2026: There’s a man in this pub that looks like a giant teddy bear, and when I see him, I wanna squeeze him
17/05/2026: A great meal to celebrate communion, lots of them happening on the same day and whilst that might affect the standard at some places, this was not the case the food and service were excellent! Would definitely for again and would recommend to others.
