Great small, cute pub with a proper old‑school feel. They’re still doing €6 pints, and they pour them properly. Don’t be misguided by the photos online though. Those big, spacious rooms you might see are only for private events. The actual pub itself is tiny and cozy.

So if you're looking for a good locals bar in Dublin this is the place to go. If you're into the lifestyle it definitely isn't. Went to a Sunday social that didn't even happen. Seems like a lot of hype to be honest. Luckily we know some great clubs and would rather go to those instead.

13/04/2026: We had a fantastic evening on the canal boat trip. Great fun and unique experience in Dublin city. Food was excellent and really great friendly polite staff. Great music with some Irish traditional songs. Excellent
23/03/2026: Had an absolutely amazing time celebrating my friends’ stag on the canal boat restaurant this past Saturday (21/03/26)! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The boat was spotless, beautifully set up, and created such a unique atmosphere for the occasion. The staff were incredible—friendly, professional, and made sure everything ran smoothly all day. A special shout out to Jaya, who was always at the end of the phone and email in the lead-up, answering every question and making the whole planning process stress-free. Couldn’t recommend this experience enough. We’ll definitely be booking again!
