25/11/2025: Ate dinner here while we were staying at the hotel and we had a fab meal. All of the food was tasty and we would recommend the Prawn and Salmon Starter, Sausages and Mash and Seafood Linguini. Also it was great to try a few cocktails from the menu which was quite extensive and reasonably priced drinks. It was a family member's birthday the night we ate here and the team all got involved in bringing out the cake and singing happy birthday which was a lovely touch and really appreciated.

03/03/2026: The Sneem hotel experience was beyond our expectations. Breathtaking views from the deluxe balcony suite, and only a short stroll on the grounds to seaweed barrel baths. Absolutely stunning.

23/01/2026: Had a fabulous stay here. We'd booked for 2 nights and stayed for 4! The hotel was closed but we were able to stay in a dog friendly, self catering apartment which was perfect. Big comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen and big bathrooms with great showers. Spotlessly clean apartment and the grounds were immaculate. Lovely little walk through the grounds into the village. Really good value for money. Gorgeous beach about half an hour away, we stopped at Staigue ring fort on the way back. Would like to make this an annual winter trip!

05/11/2025: One of the most amazing experiences of my life. The two days we spent at Liss Ard were complete and utter magic! We both loved it so much that we would love to go back and experience more of what this stunning estate has to offer. The staff, location, food and atmosphere was utter perfection! My dream getaway!! Already wishing we could go back ✨

15/10/2025: Liss ard is an absolute dream of a hotel. One feels transported to a long ago fairy tale upon entering the property, and the feeling only increases with exploration of the buildings and grounds. The bar and restaurant were beautiful and served delicious, locally-sourced fare.

12/02/2026: Food fabulous, we had the carvery absolutely delicious, seated 11 of us, really lovely,all enjoyed.

03/02/2026: The carvery was perfectly serviceable but cost €16 for a small plate!

24/02/2026: Nice place, but one of the waitresses are quite rude and not friendly whatsoever. Made us feel very unwelcome and spoke quite rudely towards us. I will not be returning due to this poor level of service.

25/02/2026: Just back from the most fantastic weekend after staying in the Woodland Suites for two nights. The staff were amazing and could not have been more attentive and friendly. It is pricey but worth it and we both felt very relaxed after such a short space of time. Would highly recommend.

16/02/2026: Quite possibly the best hotel we have stayed in. The service was exceptional from the start. Amazing rooms, comfy bed, sauna and pool. Every person we spoke to couldn't do more for us. Felt like 5 star service. Great food, drinks and breakfast. Cannot recommend highly enough

16/03/2026: Just by chance we found this place one day and we have been here a few times so far the food is beautiful here well worth a little trip, good ingredients, good food, nice atmosphere, friendly staff, clean restaurant. And you will get to meet the resident cat 🐈 who sleeps by the stove and thats a big win for me.

15/03/2026: The pork belly brunch is so damn great. I had the irish breakfast there before, and it's a good one, but the pigeon house korean pork belly is one of the best brunch dishes I ever had. You have to try it.

15/02/2026: I can’t say enough wonderful things about Mason’s Apron. I usually get all our birthday cakes from here, and they have never disappointed—but this time they truly went above and beyond. For my son’s first birthday, we ordered a Boss Baby–themed cake, complete with smooth icing sugar and a beautiful edible picture on top, and it was absolutely perfect. The cake looked stunning, but what really impressed us was the taste. I had mentioned to the staff that our family needs to be careful with sugar due to diabetes, and they were so understanding and accommodating. The sweetness was perfectly balanced—not too sweet at all—yet still incredibly delicious. Every bite was soft, fresh, and full of flavor without being overwhelming. You can truly taste the care and skill that went into making this cake. Hats off to the amazing staff and an even bigger hats off to the baker! Since this was the first time they made this particular style of cake, the fact that it turned out this flawless is even more impressive. The price was very reasonable, the service was excellent, and the final result exceeded all expectations. We’ve just finished the cake, and everyone loved it. Mason’s Apron once again made a special occasion even more special. Highly, highly recommended—I’ll definitely continue getting all our celebration cakes from here! 🎂✨

19/12/2025: Beautiful hampers with beautiful handmade food, jams and treats etc for Christmas. My 2nd year which is just as delicious and stunning as before. Thanks for making my Christmas extra special again x

25/11/2025: Stopped in as a halfway point on a 4 hour journey for a stretch of the legs and a bite to eat. We were made feel welcome the minute we walked in. We didnt catch the barmaids name but she couldnt do enough for us. She noticed I was watching a game on my phone and put it straight on the tv for me,served up thr finest pint of guinness Ive had outside my local, told us where the bathrooms and smoking area were in case we needed them, and chatted in a friendly manner throughout. She's a credit to the place. A friendly "hello" from the local customers was also nice. Food was super tasty and came in hugely generous portions. Steak sandwich is beautiful! Pricing is fantastic value. Will return for sure

18/10/2025: Day 1 of our 2025 Irish getaway: we received a warm welcome. We ate very well, it was truly generous! €80, including four drinks. Perfect!!!

18/01/2026: Lovely place, the roast was great so were the other dishes we had, the steak sandwich was insane as well, and the desserts were all amazing, the cheesecake specially. The staff is super friendly and the service quite quick.

17/01/2026: We stopped here for lunch. Excellent roast and breaded chicken breast. Lovely atmosphere and excellent service bron the staff. Open fire, so warm and welcoming.

16/01/2026: At the Hill of Tara in County Meath, lies a spot that feels like it belongs in a fairytale, cafe & gift shop "Maguires Hill of Tara" You cannot talk about this cafe without mentioning their lovely staff. Eva, the manager is a lovely soul who give the best smile & warm hugs... only if you qualify for it 😉 It was a fantastic experience spending time after hiking the tara hill. Must try café in the whole Ireland 🇮🇪

23/02/2026: Great place, with great pubs attached. Friendly staff. It had annoying issue if the key cards being wiped when put next to your phone in your pocket. The staff always were happy to fix it but it was still annoying. But definitely earns its five star rating and cost.
