14/03/2026: Hello. I ordered a double cheeseburger with fries and a Coke Zero. I'm very pleased with the price and the taste of my meal. The customer service was very friendly, helpful, and fast. It's a very atmospheric place between the castle and the cathedral. I highly recommend it to everyone 😉

06/04/2026: This hotel was one of many on our trip and it was well located for Glenbeigh and Rossbeigh/ ring of Kerry. They seemed a little understaffed although the staff were friendly enough. We had an evening meal and breakfast with them the evening meal was excellent- we were sat in the dining room which we were grateful for as it was very noisy in the bar (sat of Easter weekend) but unfortunately was really cold! The evening meal was so good and the service was good. Breakfast was nice too- we had pancakes and fruit. There's no buffet option but good choice on the menu. Again the breakfast room was very cold! Unfortunately we didn't get a great night's sleep as our rooms (with a child) we're over the bar which was busy and loud until past 11. Also was lacking in charging points - there was one outlet in each room. Shower was good, tea & coffee making facilities in the room and plenty of storage and space for hanging wet items!

01/04/2026: We were there on Sunday for dinner time and had a great experience. Valentina, our waitress look after us, she made us laugh and feel like home. She recommended us beef and Guinness pie and we were not disappointed! We had a wonderful time and will definitely be back.

07/08/2025: Arrived at 1:15 and had the place to ourselves. Best oysters we have had in Ireland, and that's high praise. Food was delicious, our server, John, was excellent, and cannot recommend highly enough.

24/04/2026: This is that perfect hole in the wall, cozy feel, best food around kinda place. I got the buttermilk chicken and it was absolutely delicious. The ladies who served us were very friendly and welcoming. This place def has charm and character. We would 100% go back again.

25/11/2025: Stopped in as a halfway point on a 4 hour journey for a stretch of the legs and a bite to eat. We were made feel welcome the minute we walked in. We didnt catch the barmaids name but she couldnt do enough for us. She noticed I was watching a game on my phone and put it straight on the tv for me,served up thr finest pint of guinness Ive had outside my local, told us where the bathrooms and smoking area were in case we needed them, and chatted in a friendly manner throughout. She's a credit to the place. A friendly "hello" from the local customers was also nice. Food was super tasty and came in hugely generous portions. Steak sandwich is beautiful! Pricing is fantastic value. Will return for sure

09/04/2026: Great location, pub restaurant downstairs with live music. Small, clean rooms upstairs. Great for a solo traveler or couple.

30/03/2026: Very bad experience. The 10 rooms are above the pub and it is IMPOSSIBLE to sleep until the music stops, at 1:00. If you want to sleep DO NOT stay here, It is like having musicians in your room.

29/07/2025: Lovely place, great cocktails. Pizzas delicious, would steer clear of the ravioli. Two of our party had it and both didn’t rate it. Tasteless and more like a soup broth with a bit of pasta thrown in.

13/04/2026: Fast and high-quality service. My kids and husband were happy. I wasn't quite happy with the Caesar salad. The salad itself was fine, but it wasn't a Caesar salad, just a salad. The atmosphere was very pleasant and cozy.

15/02/2026: Over the years, anything I've ever ordered here has been absolutely delicious and worth every penny. Even when I'm unsure of an ingredient, I am always pleasantly surprised with how good it tastes. Which goes to show the expertise of the chef and kitchen staff. I have always had a great experience here and can't recommend it enough for people who love and appreciate great food and wine.
