03/05/2026: The perfect pub for a great evening in Dublin! Great music, dancing, friendly bartenders and waiters, delicious and beautiful food. I highly recommend it!

24/02/2026: Nice country pub atmosphere with a fire lite stove. The service was professional. I ordered a steak which was overcooked first and was taken back, then it was undercooked on the second attempt. I ended up getting a burger and chips which I wasn’t charged for which I felt was the good way of dealing with the situation.

21/02/2026: Best meal of our trip to Ireland, and we ate many good meals. The blade steak was TO. DIE. FOR. The toffee cheesecake dessert, mouthwatering. The staff was friendly and accommodated our questions. We stumbled upon this place, and boy are we thankful we did!!

20/05/2026: Large, stylish bar restaurant. Good food, decent service and excited atmosphere. Live football on TV however it was a bit loud. Good cocktail menu and selection of beers.

12/05/2026: Our experience at this place was awful due to the receptionist's behavior. Even though the place was almost empty, he rudely and callously refused to give us a table, claiming there was no availability. What was most outrageous was seeing him then give a table to a group that arrived after us and didn't have a reservation. It's clear we were victims of racist and discriminatory treatment. Having a different skin tone, hair color, or eye color doesn't make you any less human. There's no other explanation for being denied service in an empty restaurant while others were given preferential treatment for no good reason. It's shameful that they have staff with this kind of prejudice. They should teach their employees basic manners and ethics. We left there extremely disappointed and with a very bitter taste in our mouths. I won't be back, and neither will my friends. There are more good people than bad. ✌🏻

12/04/2026: Outrageous prices, food quality has gone down hill massively. Quite noticeable the amount of corners being cut. 22 euro for a burger! 11 euro for a kids pancake Flat white very watery, pidgin grill was bland, avocado was fluffed out compared to the older high standard. This was a five star review but after my last couple of visits I can no longer stand over that and had to change it.

13/06/2026: It was my first time in Vanilla Pod restaurant, and I can say it was a wonderful experience, not only because of the great service, but the food was delicious 😋. It is difficult to describe how good it was. I order 3 course meals, but it is charged separately, I mean, for the dinner there is no option to choose 2 or 3 course as you can find it on the early bird menu. Although there is not a option, I strongly recommend the dinner in Vanilla Pod restaurant! Team are friendly (congratulations Caroline! Sorry I don't remember all the staff's names!). Only the atmosphere was loudly, maybe because there were 3 celebrations at the same time. Anyway, I will come back, definitely! Special because I couldn't try the Pork in the main menu (they served all the portions at the time I got in the restaurant). Congratulations, guys for good quality and good service!

26/05/2026: The hotel is okay, the rooms are nice. Unfortunately, breakfast isn't included, and the price isn't exactly cheap. The hotel is centrally located, and everything is within walking distance.

15/05/2026: Lovely hotel but rooms at front were very noisy!

10/05/2026: Obnoxious woman at the till, which is a shame as the food was amazing, especially the smash burger, curry sauce and chips are very nice as well. Experience when ordering did however put a damper on everything.

08/05/2026: Got turned away they said they having a private event but yet my brother walked in after wards and got served, I read all the reviews and taut ok that be a nice place to go but I guess not and the whole place was drinking

02/04/2026: My grandparents had lunch here today - my grandfather recently broke his hip and has been using a frame to get around and he said this was the best disabled toilet he’s been in - very spacious and bars in helpful places. They said it is a credit to the hotel and would entice them to return. Also they loved the soup and brown bread!!!!

10/05/2026: Bad experience. I asked for my meal with gravy on the side. It came smothered in gravy. It had to be sent back. My partner was half way through his meal before i had mine returned

05/03/2026: Popped in for coffee and tea. One of our party is wheelchair bound, and we were helped by staff, and a lovely lady patron entering and exiting. Friendly Staff and Patrons too! Excellent service! Highly recommended.

01/02/2026: We stayed above the pub for one night. Very cosy room, clean reasonably priced. Little kitchen with a fridge and microwave. Milk in the fridge, tea and coffee. Would definitely recommend.
