02/10/2026: Thank you Hartleys for making my 80th birthday celebration special, for me and all the family..

20/09/2026: They charged us a 12.5% service charge for sitting in a certain table, absolutely farcical. The food was below what I cook at home at they charged an arm and a leg and a penis for it. They didn't do well with service either with me having to get up for a pint. Honestly it was an average pub with average Guinness and expensive food for the quality, I could make a lot better at home.

27/08/2026: We were there the last few days and the manager hostess made us feel like gold. When we were there the food was second and none I had a fruit cup two different days and they must ripen the fruit in the back just to make sure it’s served perfectly. I think a lot of restaurants could learn how to do that for this one. Every staff person that came over and helped with the service was just amazing. They made us feel so warm and so comfortable there and they tried to make sure we could sit at a window if a window was open. It’s one of those restaurants that I will remember with Mount Juliet

09/06/2026: What does value for money mean? It means Lady Helen. We were there June 6th for a birthday. We will never forget it. Skip 3 or 4 meals out that will be soon forgotten in exchange for one night in this restaurant that will live long in the memory, linger sensually on the palate and will lift your spirits for days and weeks afterwards. Food at the highest level infused with care and expertise that will take your breath away. If you can get there then just go and experience it.

26/08/2026: Lovely little place, have been there many times. The owner and staff are lovely, and the food is better than you would expect. I must say their carvery roast dinner is a bargain and a very big portion. Deserts are fantastic some of the best cheesecake I’ve ever had. Highly recommend!

04/09/2026: Their homemade seafood chowder is incredibly delicious! I recommend indeed! However, there is only one check per table available. So paying separately was not an option for us.

01/09/2026: The beef stew is to die for,can't wait till we are back on Kerry mid September, will definitely be visiting a few times even though we are staying on Valentia island. Roll on September 16th.❤️🇮🇪❤️

17/10/2026: Yvonne, Sandra and all staff working yesterday Friday 16th October, were highly professional and accommodating. Everything ran smoothly for the funeral afters, the communication was very efficient, the food delicious, soup was gorgeous, sandwiches very fresh, and lovely pints of Guinness. Thank you all staff for making us feel very looked after.

23/08/2026: We had my boyfriends 40th here. We hired the boat for 4 hours for drinks and it really was an unbelievable night. Very special experience. Everything was perfect. The staff on this boat are brilliant, they looked after us so well.

27/06/2026: We went for lunch around 3:30 PM and were served quickly. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was beautiful.

03/10/2026: Probably one of the most crazy decorated restaurants I’ve ever been to 😂 There’s honestly so much going on, but it definitely great for kids. The food was alright, I got the loaded chips, we were just popping in for a small lunch, think it’s more suited to a brunch vibe or coming for a proper big meal. Overall, worth experiencing for the decor alone!

09/06/2026: This hotel is only facilitating weddings and events. If you are couples they don't want to know. We stayed on Friday and Saturday night. We were told because of a wedding Friday night we had to eat at 6:30pm in the bar. Fair enough we facilitated their request. Saturday we went in for lunch and were told we would be waiting at least an hour for lunch because of a 100 person funeral that were in. Needless to say we went into the village and had a lovely lunch and a few drinks. Lovely setting for a hotel but not very accommodating. Maybe just set yourself as an event destination rather than a couples hotel.

28/06/2026: We had such a lovely experience here thanks to our waitress Dee. We were two families dining together with four kids, and she was incredibly kind, patient, and attentive the whole time. Nothing felt like too much trouble for her, and she made us all feel very welcome. What really stood out was how thoughtful she was with the children — she even offered steamed vegetables for the baby without us having to ask, which was such a caring touch and very appreciated. The service was warm, friendly, and genuine, and it made our meal even more enjoyable. The food was amazing, each course very delicious! Thank you all for looking after us so well!

12/10/2026: Steak needed seasoning and the peppercorn sauce lacked flavor. The bread pudding was delicious.

21/09/2026: Great meal and great service. Restaurant is situated in the middle of the busiest area of Cork on Mac Curtain Street. There was a nice buzz in the restaurant although I found it very loud and difficult to follow. The staff were exceptionally knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine that they were serving, and overall it was a great experience.

07/10/2026: Honestly, one of the best coffees I’ve had! So creamy and delicious, and a real work of art! Lovely customer service too. Can’t wait to go back!

16/09/2026: Stopped in Araby passing through Claremorris. Parking was very accessible beside the premises. No wait for a table on arrival. Staff were all very pleasant and welcoming. we enjoyed a very tasty curry. The portions were generous at a very reasonable price. Would highly recommend

15/09/2026: The fillet steak sandwich is mouth watering, highly recommend. The mustard and onions that come with it compliment it perfectly as do the chips and peppercorn sauce, the staff are also lovely what a great spot
