09/07/2024: Simple and good. Very friendly staff! Watched football on TV with great sound. We had two meals, the burger which was great and the steak sandwich which unfortunately was disappointing to me as the steak was not so good... as it is listed as one of the specialtys of the house that should've done better! But had an overall great evening.

26/09/2024: We had a wonderful meal at the Bates Nua Restaurant! My daughter especially loved the vegetarian linguine. She said it was the best meal she’s had in Ireland! The atmosphere was also relaxing with great music. 10/10 experience!

18/09/2024: An authentic restaurant in the heart of Rathdrum, built in old stones. The staff is welcoming and friendly, the food is delicious. We had a great time here !

29/10/2024: Poor experience so far , We checked in to the hotel and were expecting a Modern , newly furnished room as advertised by the pictures and were given a mundane , bland room on Arrival. Thankfully when we said this to reception they changed are rooms on the second night to what we booked . Then we were threatened by security to remove us from the hotel for being ‘too loud at 11.30pm at night ‘ without previous warning or anywhere on their website stating a quiet hour , with security commenting on us and our room and being aggressive and rude . Tonight we were in Galway town and wanted to come back to the hotel for a few drinks and rang the hotel in advance to enquire about when the bar closes and we were told 2am but when we arrived back we were told last orders at 12.30 . Overall the customer service was unpleasant.

27/10/2024: Service was appalling. Shame because the food actually tasted good. The server who took our mains order was nice unfortunately after we were finished with our mains nobody came to clear the table for a while before we went ahead and cleared it ourselves. Different server came and asked us if we were finished (as if it wasn't obvious) and never offered us deserts. It was my birthday dinner amd after 20 minutes waiting to order desert finally we were offered one but honestly we didn't want one anymore we just wanted the bill. Still waiting for the bill to arrive 40 minutes later. Absolutely shocking. I expected much more considering the pictures online were looking good. Ps the music was depressing brakeup songs all way through the dinner which took away from the atmosphere. Very disappointed to say the least.

07/11/2024: Quite a large and multifunctional hotel. There are 2 types of breakfast: a typical Irish breakfast is delicious (but this is not for everybody) and a standard continental one (an assortment for all tastes).

31/10/2024: First time staying there recently and it was a good experience. Easy check in and out. Good staff and it wasn’t too bad for its price. Thank to reception team. See you soon !

09/11/2024: We stayed in an airbnb just around the corner from here. This isn’t temple bar, it’s real Dublin . Old theatre seats and school desks,plumbers vans outside. Chicken sambo , ham sambo and a cup of tea and a slice of homemade Guinness cake. Loved it.

13/11/2024: This is our first time at Flanagans, looks good inside. But the food is all cheap produce - coming from the full Irish and the breakfast bap. The white/black pudding is Denny’s, costs less than a €1 - cheap sausages, cold in the middle hash brown which are frozen produce. Toast may as well of been bread. Even with that in mind, breakfast should be €9.95 and not €15.95 unless you get better produce. The staff try their best definitely - overheard a man asking why he can’t get a tea with his breakfast, and the waitress said it’s free with the breakfast after 12 but not before! Imagine having to say this to customers on a daily because he won’t be the first or the last. Coffee is also in the tiniest “illy” mug ever too. The good reviews on here can’t be real tbh ! Look for the bad ones and there’s the answer. Bathrooms are also down 2 sets of stairs & the music was good !

19/11/2024: A beautiful building, great service and lovely food. Try the baileys cheesecake. And a lot of screens to watch every football or rugby games.

23/06/2024: Came in for food. Sat out in back garden. Initially, there was no waiter in the garden. Upon showing up, he kept ignoring us until I waved at him. When asked to order food, he stated he would be right back. On coming back kept ignoring us, so we left. The bartender was very pleasant, and beer was good.

22/06/2024: Friendly staff, but a wreck trying to serve us food. Waited 45 minutes for food and left.

28/10/2024: Usually it is good, as only going there for a quick lunch, burgers are very good. But most recent experience was a bit disappointing, food was a bit cold and service really slow. But more times all was perfect.

21/10/2024: I love this bar and have done for over a decade. It's standard pub grub but great value. There's a warm fire and cosy snugs and good service if not a bit old school barman type. I've been to several events here upstairs in the function room and you're very well looked after and accommodated. Highly recommend the place

29/10/2024: Fantastic atmosphere, the typical Irish place with many details, clean bathrooms and very good food. We ate on the recommendation of some girls who were also there, meatloaf, sandwich and hamburger, all with abundant garnish and accompanied by beer, of course!
