31/12/2024: First, when we walked into this restaurant they never kept record of our booking and there were 11 of us, but they were very helpful in the moment to get us a table. Secondly, We greatly enjoyed our starters and main course but we were let down by the wait for our dessert and the dessert itself. Overall it was a very enjoyable evening and the only letdown was the dessert.

20/01/2025: One of my favourite places to visit in Wicklow, whether just to stop in for a stroll around the charming gardens and have a pot of tea and a warm, freshly baked scone with jam, butter, and cream, or have a celebratory family luncheon. A place of immense atmosphere that brings you to another time, it is like a portal to a world that barely exists anymore, with fantastic, kind, and sometimes wonderfully comic staff that could be straight out of a Flann O'Brien novel... it's no wonder this place attracts writers and painters and artists of all kinds who use the rooms and grounds for peace, good conversation, and inspiration. The food is delicious and they grow many of the ingredients they use on their land. Visit Hunter's to have an experience you are unlikely to receive in any other modern, fashionable Irish destination hotel or resort. A truly one of a kind place, untouched by time. Long may it be so.

08/03/2025: To be honest food was amazing and I do work on the top restaurants in London but Aisling hospitality it’s incredible! She is amazing, squid was the best of my life so fresh and again I do service squid in my restaurant but chef technique ! You should be so proud ! Can’t wait to be back ❤️

19/04/2025: My family and I recently visited the Royal hotel in Valencia, we went to the bar to get some teas, scones and coffees. We were appalled by our treatment from one of the staff members, Inna. I asked would it possible to order a pot of tea for 2 and an americano to which Inna responded ‘no’ in an extremely rude tone after previous waiting to be served at our table and the bar for 20 minutes. The person beside me at the bar had just ordered a cappuccino but I was told we were not allowed order a coffee as it was too busy. I would have understood completely if this was communicated to us in a respectful manner but I was left speechless with the treatment we received. No customer service whatsoever I can’t describe how rude Inna was, I wouldn’t usually feel the need to write a review but honestly I would really not recommend to come here if you are looking for a nice friendly experience.

02/02/2025: Este lugar es una joya fantástica en el corazón de Foxrock pueblo. La comida nunca decepciona y platos de calidad como los que se sirven son raros de encontrar. Cada artículo se prepara con habilidad y experiencia culinaria. Nunca me decepciona cuando visito Brighton Rd como se llama ahora. Es un placer entrar con gran anticipación y salir deseando vivir más cerca y planeando nuestra próxima visita. El personal es muy amable y atento. Su menú del Año Nuevo Chino me envió a otro reino lo que sigue.
