05/10/2025: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Outstanding Experience at The Castle Inn My family and I visited The Castle Inn today, and it was an absolutely exceptional experience from start to finish. The food was flawless — every dish, from the starters through to dessert, was perfectly prepared, beautifully presented, and bursting with flavour. You can really tell that care and passion go into every plate. The service was equally impressive. The staff were warm, friendly, and attentive throughout our meal, making us feel genuinely welcome. It’s rare to find a place where both the food and hospitality are this consistently excellent. The Castle Inn truly exceeded all our expectations. We’ll definitely be returning — highly recommended for anyone looking for incredible food and a wonderful dining

11/12/2025: Dropped in for lunch here. I had a shepherds pie and my wife had chicken fajitas. Both were really poor. Hardly any chicken in the fajitas and served badly with a couple of cold tortillas on a plate. My shepherds pie was basically a bowl of gravy with meat but little or no mash on top, so it wasn’t really a shepherds pie. Overall really basic and much better choices elsewhere UPDATE: The owner Jackie asked me to call her and we had a good chat. She had reviewed CCTV and agreed standard of food was poor and apologised which was good at least and seemed like she was taking the comments on board positively. She did say that she would send us a voucher to visit again and see if it’s improved but never heard from them again.

16/11/2025: Awesome local place. My partner and I were both roaming around and came across this find and the staff was lovely. However, we both did get sick after eating here. I had the beef stew and got food poisoning afterward, and my partner got sick too. I’m hoping this was just a random occurrence and/or something just affected me differently because it was really nice at the time of eating. Great staff, food choices, and atmosphere though.

28/10/2025: Ciao ragazzi, Catched a Guiness with my lad before heading to our scary hostel. Almost freaked out the bar tender because we had a discussion about what the right (obvious) side to drive is. Anyhow great location just difficult to find your way around in that labyrinth. Piacere!

10/11/2025: I had big expectations of this place & the food met them all. Everything was unbelievable. But somehow more impressive than the amazing food, is the amazing staff. From the second we got in, the staff we're on it. They set clear expectations of how long the food will take to get to the table & in the most casual friendly non-invasive manor. When they came to ask if everything is ok, it wasn't in the typical month full of food awkward moment fashion. We had 4 babys with us from 2 years old to two months old, & the first thing the gentleman taking our order did was, as ask the simple question, would you like us to look after the kids first? This is the nicest kindest sort of recognition and understanding from a restaurant. They had the babies fed & then brought out what was an 11/10 feast for us. Thank you for making our day.

15/09/2025: Very friendly and welcoming owners. We were allowed to sleep in the parking lot with our RV. Unfortunately, the food wasn't particularly good. I would have given them 5 stars for their friendliness.

04/10/2025: Visited on a saturday nights with my partner. Friendly, welcoming staff & cosy atmosphere. Not a great choice on the menu unfortunately. Either seafood or 1 steak dish. Expensive & probly suited to seafood lovers.

07/11/2025: The Thai food takeaway is lovely however the portions have git smaller and the price higher so much so that we've just stop buying as it's not worth it. Can take a good while to collect after ordering too.

08/10/2025: They look good, and the BBQ wings are delicious. The nachos are also very good. The steak sandwich is also great. From Monday to Thursday, you can get a snack for €10 per person, including a pint! A dream in Dublin. The waiters were friendly.
