Best hotel in Dublin. I live in Northern Ireland so I would travel to Dublin every so often for a short vacation and also stay in Hilton’s often, I can say this hotel is definitely the best hotel I’ve stayed in Dublin and I would say top 3 Hilton’s I’ve stayed in around the world.
I would always be very sceptical when a hotel says it’s 5 star especially without a spa or pool as I think the industry uses the words a bit too often however I can confirm this hotel really is 5 star.
We where fortunate to get an off street parking spot however the hotel is so central, the affiliation with a large car park next door for €20 a night is really good as Dublin is expensive for parking and in this area can difficult to get a space. A real peace of mind also valet parking if your not comfortable with multi story car parks.
From the moment we checked in the staff were amazing. I usually like to mention a few members but everyone from reception, Restaurant, bar and breakfast staff were all equally as great. It’s clear the hotel looks after the staff as they all had a genuine sense of friendliness and it wasn’t being forced.
The room was perfect. Very clean and had amazing small touches such as umbrella and I especially liked the small notes with humorous touches, also just on that if your a Hilton honours member there is a lot of incentives to earn more points which is always welcome.
Restaurant food was Michelin standard and speedy with a great atmosphere, it’s branded as a free standing restaurant and not a hotel restaurant which felt like a treat rather than the easy option. Bar drinks especially cocktails were unbelievably good and very well garnished. Breakfast had everything anyone would want with a full buffet and included À la cart menu, the eggs Benedict 10/10.
Location… perfect, cross the bridge to temple bar area, outside is the bus stop to Guinness storehouse etc.
As you can tell my the review we will definitely be back. 5*

Probably the best hotel that I’ve ever stayed in. Staff was always ready to help with any concerns or questions. My room was a bit warm the first night and I found that the windows didn’t open, and they helped me with a fan and offering to move me if needed. They also helped me book a taxi to and from the airport and a day trip.
The breakfast was great, too!
And the room was marvelous, I’d move here permanently if I could sleep like that every night

I went for breakfast, very good! And recommended if you need to pay with Amex because no one accepts it here.

We had a couple of drinks in the bar only. Service was excellent, prices were surprisingly good considering our location. Very pleasant atmosphere, I'll definitely be back.

We were celebrating a friend's bday with an afternoon tea, we had the Smarty Pants one which was delicious, lovely cocktails too and great service, our waitress was very attentive. Wonderful afternoon!

Stort og lyst rom. Nydelige tykke badehåndklær....
Super service i en glimrende restaurant.
Vi spiste her tre ganger, biffen var perfekt.
Noe enkel frokost. Den er ikke verdt prisen. Neste gang blir det uten frokost, og heller frokost på en restaurant i nærheten. Billigere og bedre.

Our experience at the Morrison was acceptable. My now husband and I booked the Morrison penthouse for two nights as the accommodation for our wedding in a venue across the river, as well as 3 other rooms which included two king superior rooms and one king junior suite, also for two nights each. My fiancé’s family were also staying in the Morrison for just under two weeks. All in all, we paid thousands for our rooms. The penthouse was fine. It was nothing special and in my opinion was not worth the €700 per night. The air conditioning/heating was faulty, we had to call for assistance and we were given a Dyson heater for the room to compensate. The electric curtains were also not working, which would be fine cause we don’t actually need electric curtains, but we actually couldn’t figure out how to open them, which we had to again call assistance for. The balcony door was locked for the previous guests and not unlocked for us, meaning we again had to get assistance with that.
We requested a firm pillow as we found the pillows very soft, and we were given a long pillowcase with two smaller pillows put into it meaning there was a gap in the middle that your head would fall into. There were no spare blankets available in the room. The room service breakfast order from the previous occupant was filled in on the sheet, meaning we had to request new ones.
There was no where to plug in the hairdryer so you could actually look in the mirror while doing so, as the cord was so small it would not stretch from underneath the mirror in the bedroom. Ordinarily I wouldn’t care for small details like this, but it is not at all what I would expect for a penthouse in a 5 star establishment and for what we were paying.
I would be a bit hesitant to recommend the penthouse to anyone who wished to splurge and stay here when compared to what you get for a similar price at other hotels in the area.
