Halo Restaurant in Dublin

My family had connecting rooms just off the breakfast dining room. They were spacious, clean, and amazingly quiet given their location. The hotel is well situated on the opposite side of the River Liffey from Temple Bar.

Some really good staff, Hotel is clean, breakfast was okay. Cons of our stay: Waited 4hrs for a room, told would text us when ready, but never. (Never had this problem before in hilton) Air conditioning leaked all over bathroom, never asked to move rooms, just sat with pools of water for few hours until maintenance came to fix (lovely guy) but threw off whole day as couldnt use bathroom to get ready etc All the doors on the floor slammed shut instead of slow closing so constantly disturbed by people going about their days.

Had a lovely stay at the Morrison. Room / bed were very comfortable, and the hotel has a cozy boutique hotel vibe. What made the stay especially nice was Luigi’s friendliness and hospitality. He went out of his way to be helpful, and made the stay memorable. Thank you!

This is up there with being the best Hilton in Dublin. Price is often excruciating, so I only stay there when it falls below €200 or £200 if I’m being generous. Some rooms facing the street can be noisy, so get an inner facing one if you wish for quieter times and live with no view. Onsite restaurant is very good, although during my dinner, a group of three clearly hammered and very loud people were sat down and the atmosphere deteriorated markedly. Breakfast was good, lots of option from the menu. The queue at opening did experience a random entitled person who ignored the assembled loose line and strode to the very edge of the desk and pushed in to be first. It’s that edge of rude entitled behaviour that creeps into hotels that can be expensive that is depressing. It is so easy to just check in with those already there and ask “are you waiting for breakfast?” I would stay here again if the price is right.

A wonderful place to stay! It was in an excellent spot - a quieter area that was close to all the stuff you want to see and visit. The staff were wonderful and stored our bags while we waited for our room to be ready.
