25/10/2024: Great location in Rathdrum after spending the day in Glendalough. The pub was wonderful and the food for dinner was superb! They had a wonderful full breakfast in the morning that was not only filling, but was cooked to order.

09/09/2024: I haven't eaten here, so im not sure if its a restaurant. But, Anytime I'm camping up at Top of the Rock park or visiting the Drimoleague singing festival for a gig here, or just dropping in for a drink with friends - I always find it to be a very welcoming bar. The service at the bar is fast and friendly and there is a great selection of drinks on tap and behind the bar. I can't fault this place and I always look forward to dropping in for drinks. I recommend this place as a great little cosy and welcoming bar if you're in Drimoleague and want to go somewhere with friends for a few drinks.

09/11/2024: I loved the art work and jewellery. The amount of credit they were giving the artists were lovely. It is only getting a 2 star over how the security guard followed me around the shop and was in my personal space. It made me feel very uncomfortable and didnt make me feel very safe due to how close she was. I also visited the cafe, even more disappointed in the soup taste and hazelnut cake. Although theres many down sides, the employees that served me were lovely and they were so helpful!

22/10/2024: This place is charming and has a beautiful sea view. Highly recommend to catchup with friends or a casual dinner. Staff are delightful and very pleasant, the menu is well thought out and the cocktails look good. The food is balanced and the portions are quite normally sized. It is a bit hard to find parking, but definitely worth a visit

10/10/2024: For a budget accommodation this really does show what is possible. The room was clean, warm, comfortable. I had Wi-Fi, tea, making facilities, a tv, and a good night's sleep. And in the centre of town. And a decent dinner in the pub. Perfect really.

09/09/2024: Visiting from the UK to do the Wild Atlantic Way. You definitely want to divert to experience Helen’s Bar. We arrived early and the bar was alive with a great atmosphere. We had a wonderful warm welcome from the staff and of course Helen who engaged with us straight away and ensured we had a table as soon as possible. Couldn’t resist the mussels and open prawn sandwich both were delicious and such good value. It also provides an overnight stay in their car park, what’s not to like. We have been blown away by the hospitality we have received during our trip so far. We would certainly highly recommend Helen’s Bar for breakfast, lunch or dinner it’s fantastic. It s also a B&B. Thank you Helen and her hard working staff for making our evening very special. Andrea and Tony
