23/09/2026: The chicken and wraps were delicious, as were the sides. Nice pub and friendly staff.

15/09/2026: We visited the restaurant as part of a day trip around Tipperary, specifically prior to our visit of the Cahir Castle. The food was set with the rest of our tour group, which we had a main course (beef stew) and dessert (might have been panna cotta?) - was tasty!

25/09/2026: Exceptional food. Four of us stopped for lunch on the way to Galway. Leah was lovely and friendly. Maggie was brilliant, full of information for our onward journey made our day. Perfect service

13/09/2026: Had a lovely lunch at Left Bank on Saturday we had a Cousin reunion, there was six of us, we all enjoyed our Lunch, service and atmosphere was great. Highly recommend restaurant.

03/10/2026: Had dinner there today , we choose the turkey and ham with mash and veg with extra gravy, beautiful food, the gravy is so good, the service was excellent and we left really full , went into a food coma afterwards, delicious

15/09/2026: The food here is delicious. My mam got roast beef and said it was the best she ever tasted. So definitely highly recommended. Service is friendly and lots not too pricy. We didn't book. It is accessible for people with mobility issues.

29/07/2026: 150 year's Henry Lyons Co.LTD Excellent Bought for my daughters wedding a great suit and received excellent service from Tommy. So much history. Highly recommend for a visit. Lovely Café on site.

27/07/2026: The staff were very pleasant and helpful. We were always warmly welcomed, which was a real plus! We ate there several times and thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The dining room is comfortable with a wide selection, and the food is of very high quality. Honestly, I highly recommend it.

08/04/2026: It's ashame this pub is closing tonight because it is one of the nicest pubs in Cork City the food i had was perfect Heineken zero beautiful. Ok the service wasn't the best tonight but i guess that was to be expected with staff loosing there jobs. The pub was busy they were short staff. I really hope someone buys this pub. It has serious potential. Anytime i walked past this place it was busy it just needs to new ownership and management train new staff the food is perfect.

23/07/2026: A delicious brunch at this lovely café in Athlone. We ordered an iced coffee and a salmon bagel, and it was a great choice. The service was very friendly and attentive, and you could tell the food was fresh and very well prepared. A highly recommended spot for a relaxing and high-quality brunch. We'll definitely be back!

06/09/2026: Had Sunday lunch here under the new owners, the Finn's, and it was delicious. 6 of us went out, had lobster, lamb, haddock and chicken and all meals were really tasty and substantial. Special mention to the new potatoes that came with my lobster. We also had desserts and special mention to the baked Alaska which was a raspberry sorbet with Tunisian orange cake in a meringue. Lovely staff and service. Will very happily be back

31/07/2026: A bit of a disappointment. The lobster was a very small portion. In looking at the photos on Google prior, we were let down. I do know new management has recently taken over. €13 for a glass of Riesling and I wasn’t even given a wine list. Initially ordered Sauvignon Blanc and was told they were out. My partner ordered two portions of the lobster as we saw the previous ones that came out. After a long wait it came out and was stone cold. We sent it back because at the price point it could at least be hot! The mussels were actually nice and flavorful, just a tad salty. We received bread as we were halfway through our mussels and the butter about 7 mins later. We visited on a Wednesday evening. For the price point, small portions and slow service I’d skip this restaurant. If these things were fixed then it would be worth it.

20/10/2026: One of the nicest fish and chips I've had. The light batter on the fish was such a nice change from the normal beer batter. We got the fish and chips and scampi and both were top class. To add to the food, they let me wait in my car as my baby was asleep and dropped the food directly to my car in the pouring rain. Proper food and service all in 1!

08/10/2026: Shrimp scampi the batter was falling off and soggy. The actual prawns themselves were decent tough. Just not much flavour. Stingy portion of chips for the kids meal and they don't do batter sausage for it. Better off getting the regular chips and batter sausage. That was also fairly small. They also don't put salt and vinegar on your chips like every other chipper in the country. Said it to the lady and she just just gave packets and said we think people like to do it themselves. No that's a fundamental part of an irish chipper. It was also €16 and so was the fish and chips. Pretty steep. Unfortunately it's the only chipper in the small village. So it's this, the pub or the hotel we were staying in. I feel bad if this is a tourists first of fish and chips.
