We went for dinner on Monday I booked in on Sat for 20 of us and they were more than accommodating , the staff were absolutely outstanding and welcoming 😊 the food was absolutely fabulous 🤩 they couldn't have done more for us. I highly recommend them 5stars all the way 🤩 thank so much we had a brilliant day ❤️

This was our 3rd time stopping here. Very comfortable, food has a real home cooked kinda feel. Highly recommend. Guinness was also 💯

Fabulous food and lovely atmosphere but its strange that when I asked the bar man for a cocktail drink, he refused and didn't make any attempt or effort to make one, so I'm disappointed 😞

Major Colgan's

05/08/2026: A bit posh for a pub, but the staff is more than nice. And the food... My children not only ate, what they wanted, but also part of my vegetables (what a taste!). We (me and husband) were full, but ordered apple crumble (internet told us to do so) and I died and went to heaven! I wonder if they send it abroad... Huge recomendation from a foodie!

The Rusty Oven

06/08/2026: We loved the rusty mackerel, real irish charm, fiddlers playing, peat fire roaring, great auld craic and guinness flowing ...after a days hiking in sleive ligh nothing could be better- just the rooms are a little boxy more like builders cabins but totally conducive to a good nights sleep
06/08/2026: Great pub, fantastic atmosphere, open fire, friendly staff. Food ok, good breakfast. Accommodation is challenging although very clean it is situated at the back of the pub in containers, our room did not have a window, small with a dog as well. Having said this once over the shock the bed is comfortable and water hot. The location is wonderful for walking.
