11/10/2024: Booked a Deluxe Superior room for €264, got budget hotel service and budget hotel bathroom to match! Received very dismissive and poor attitude from night manager when we arrived, he just shrugged his shoulders when I asked him where it would be best for us to park our vehicle. I was told the following morning that we could have parked right outside the hotel in pay and display spaces! Reported the issue to Engin in the morning, and he apologised for our experience and gave a €55 refund. Now, the room we were checked into (#255 Jonathan Swift) is classed as Deluxe Superior, and charged at €264 per night - PLEASE BE WARNED - it had a budget hotel bathroom. See pictures that I took. Breakfast (food and service) was excellent, and the ONLY highlight of our stay at Ariel House.

16/10/2024: I was charged €15.45 for breakfast, four star hotels in Dublin average €14, this was absolute robbery! They were very careful not to mention "full/Irish breakfast" on the menu, so they could charge per item. Very sneaky.

07/10/2024: A horrible experience, thunderous noises from the gym that bounce throughout the hotel at 7:00 in the morning, if you come to rest, I do not recommend it at all, very unpleasant

07/10/2024: I do not recommend it at all, they woke me up with annoying noises and tremors at dawn, I would not return to this hotel at all, terrible!!!

02/10/2024: Went for lunch after a round of golf. The food was good , excellent options in salads. However I want to commend the staff who were attentive and came to our table to ensure we were able to order dessert and coffee, which we were not able to due to the crowds. Nice work , and kudos to the staff.

13/08/2024: I recommend. After a tour of the beautiful gardens, we visited for refreshments. It was a weekday, few customers, no waiting, fast service - probably students on practice. We chose 2 quiches (heated) with vegetable salad and pasta bolognese. All very tasty. Just a small recommendation: add umbrellas to the terrace (it was a sunny day and we were very hot during the meal) + clean the table IMMEDIATELY after the guests left (they remained dirty for a long time).

28/10/2024: Nice pub. Very big with a beer garden and a lounge out the back. Pint is good quality. Service is quick but the main bar feels cold and unwelcome. Barman needs to know if he wants to work behind the bar he needs to get a sense of humour

15/06/2024: Great place to eat, out of the way of the crowds but still close enough to join the beach. At the moment I think the place is temporarily closed, such a shame.

23/08/2024: Wish I had walked back out after entering . The smell of damp and grease was disgusting 🫣 1 of the worst meals I ever ate taste of grease was in my mouth til I got home a d brushed my teeth. Birthday dinner ruined and £83 for 2 course for 2 people an absolute rip off

30/10/2024: Lovely Irish traditional restaurant 💚! Food was delicious. We had soup and Prawns pil pil to start both gorgeous and seafood pie and salmon for mains! Stunning food, all hot and tasty. Well seasoned etc. Two kids with us and they shared babybowl and goujons & chips - all handmade not processed. I would just say gravy didnt come with the baby bowl but im sure if i asked they would have given some. Friendly and pleasant staff (and baby changing in ladies thankfully) all in all really beautiful meal and would definitely come back. Highly recommend.

26/10/2024: Quería almorzar y llegué solo a la 1: 45 un sábado por la tarde. Como estaba solo, me redireccionaron a la zona de comida para llevar y me aconsejaron que podía sentarme en un taburete. Justo cuando estaba a punto de hacer mi pedido, el servidor me dijo que era solo para llevar. Por lo tanto caminé 3 metros para esperar una mesa. Otro servidor, posiblemente el gerente, me dijo que no había sitio, le pregunté si podía esperar y me invitó a esperar en mi auto por 15-20 minutos y me llamó. Aprecio que estaba ocupado en ese momento, pero no creo que así es como los clientes deben ser tratados. Incluso habría comprado un café si me invitaran a esperar en uno de los taburetes altos de "cliente para llevar".

20/10/2024: Lovely place for breakfast or a scone. A little expensive for what you get. Unfortunately a sign of the times. Not as busy as previous visits.

31/05/2024: Good selection on the menu and nice size portions. Food was amazing and not a long wait. Cosy atmosphere with the open fire on, I wasn't able to manage a pudding but from looking at others they looked lovely too. Highly recommend 😀

15/09/2024: My husband and I wanted to take our Finnish friends for a nice meal. We arrived before 4pm and were told it’s carvery until 4pm and after that we can order from the menu. We bought drinks from the bar and went to the table. No one paid any attention to us, so we went to ask for the menus ourselves. We then waited for half an hour and again no one came to ask if we were ready to order. The place was half empty so it’s not like they were too busy and there was staff walking around, they just wiped some tables, but never bothered to take our orders. So we just walked out and will never go back again. Very disappointing.

19/10/2024: Just got a fresh cod. Not at all crispy. It was soggy. Chips were tasteless . Not impressed. Chap serving me was nice
