08/02/2026: We have come here a few times and the staff are excellent 👌🏼 we had burgers and fish and chips this time. The only downside on the burgers were that the were too thick for the bun. My husband got his burger with just cheese and it was a little dry. Overall, fab staff but food consistency needs to improve.

05/02/2026: Fantastic meal at Green Yard Cafe. The vegetarian halloumi stack was presented like a masterful piece of art and tasted just as good as it looked. The soup of the day carrot, basil and tomato was the perfect start and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend and will definitely be back. Approx 30-40 car parking spaces are available very close to the restaurant

02/11/2025: Beautiful food and lovely helpful staff, ordered a delivery last night and the man gave me 10% off because the online didnt work for me he was so nice and helpful and the food was lovely and fresh, Best snack Box in the town the southern fried chicken is beautiful nicest ive had in a long time wven nicer then KFC wipl definitely order again 😀 beautiful and thank you for such great service

14/03/2026: Loved the vibe here! The slow-cooked chicken burger was amazing — and halal, which made it even better. Honestly, I was so hungry I couldn’t even stop to take pictures 😅 The manager was super friendly and even kindly offered me a separate space to pray, which I really appreciated. 5 ⭐ to this place — highly recommended!

14/03/2026: We were early for our booking, but the place was empty. Lovely full bar and so we relaxed with drinks. My husband had a lovely pizza and I had fish and chips. My chips were fresh and hot, but unfortunately my fish was lukewarm in a soft non crispy batter. Definitely not cooked fresh. It arrived on top of a spread of mushy peas which were dried out, so the fish had a soggy bottom. Raging I didn’t say anything, but I actually wasn’t that hungry. I wouldn’t order again and certainly not at that price. We were let down.

06/02/2026: Very hit and miss.... food is nice but lazy week day staff let's it down , that big guy in the black jacket is a waste of space and very unprofessional.. took my order, didn't leave the order slip out and proceeded to wander round talking crap to other staff who apparently had nothing to do either, I was on a lunch break so the delay in getting 1 wrap really annoyed me . He is either related to the owner or there for free as I don't know how he gets away with it .

10/12/2025: Really good takeaway. Usual supermacs offering. Deli counter also- often a better option than supermacs. No seating is only down side

25/06/2025: Never in my 52 years on this planet have I ever experienced a genuine traditional Irish pub with fabulous musician for a trad session on Tuesday night. From the owner to the whiskey drinking bar man and musicians. Love you all. Had the time of my life. Thanks Sarah for the lift home... Gerard & Jenny.

19/05/2025: Super good, one of the best places to eat on our trip. The service was incredible, attentive, fast, friendly, and correct. I also want to highlight the prices, better than in Dublin, with typical Irish food, both in quantity and quality. The downstairs is a small supermarket with takeout, and upstairs is the restaurant, a cozy and charming place.

29/10/2025: Family-run, medium-sized hotel with a very relaxed atmosphere. The location is perfect if you're traveling by car and want to explore the Irish west coast south of Galway. There's a restaurant, a bar with a limited menu, and a gym with a pool. Highly recommended!

26/10/2025: Had a very pleasant late cheese toastie and beer here after walk on the beach. Very smart inside. Ideal for family lunches.

26/01/2026: I arrived on Carrick on the Sunday night, my friend invited me out for a quick drink and as I walked in the wonderful atmosphere hits me with everyone happy and some traditional Irish music being played and of course, a magnificent pint of Guinness
