17/10/2026: We stopped on the way back to our hotel from the Temple area. Happily we.were sat right away. Hubby ordered the lasagna dinner and I had the Cajun chicken burger. Both dishes were yummy.

20/07/2026: Great place to eat with a group, easy to talk no excessive background noise, tables well spaced, good service and nice atmosphere, food was delicious

12/07/2026: We absolutely love Reeves Restaurant. They have hosted us for many important occasions in our families. The staff are wonderful, and the food is sublime. It's our go-to place. X

08/05/2026: We had a wonderful visit to The Rambler. We are in Tipperary for a week and heard they had live music on Friday night. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. The beer was great. Best pint of Guinness I’ve had all trip. We had a conversation with the owner and he gave us tips on places to visit around the area. The musicians were amazing. We had a wonderful visit and we would definitely recommend The Rambler!

27/04/2026: i was here during a work trip in 2014, exactly when Ireland played Germany in the world cup. Not only was the food pretty good and the atmosphere exactly like I expected it to be, it was the warm welcoming and the friendly banter that made me feel very at home, even when I cheered for the wrong team. I really often tell about this evening when somebody asks me about Ireland and how the Irish are. Hope I will be visiting again some day

03/10/2026: Had the best time at bottomless brunch. Anna our server came over and really made us feel welcomed ! Couldn’t have asked for a better night !

18/08/2026: Came here last night of a break with my two teens as a treat. Food and place amazing but most of all staff were nicest ice ever experienced. Fitted us in although very busy and treated us like VIPs.

12/09/2026: I went to Ruby’s yesterday and, unfortunately, it was a real disappointment. The service was good as always, but the food was simply unacceptable. I had recommended the restaurant to someone I know because I had spoken so highly of it, and I honestly felt embarrassed afterwards. The piece of meat we were served was an oddly shaped lump, full of tough gristle and extremely difficult to eat. It was simply very disappointing, especially considering the reputation of the restaurant. I really expected much better.

10/09/2026: 3.5 stars. Very nice, snug bar. They had a great two man band playing which made a lovely atmosphere. We got BBQ food there which was okay. The Guinness was beautiful!

30/08/2026: Had a fabulous meal here last night, everything was 10/10 from the food, to the atmosphere and the service, I couldn’t recommend it more ☺️

20/09/2026: Café de Mode and its owner, Dave, delivered some fantastic cakes (including for our gluten free family members) and coffees. We arrived only about 25 minutes before closing, but we didn’t feel rushed at all, and were encouraged to stay until we’d finished. Dave chatted with us a bit about the area, gave us a few dinner recommendations in Killarney, and was generally a great time. He also reminded us of David Tennant, so that was fun too 😊

16/09/2026: Lovely quirky little cafe just off the Main Street in Ballon opposite the church. Def worth a little detour. Limited menu but divine desserts! Also had a lovely toastie. Waitress was very pleasant.
