19/10/2026: Our entire experience from start to finish was excellent. The service was great and the meal even better, props to the chef. My wife enjoyed our dining experience together on our honeymoon here.

05/07/2026: Sweet Jesus I’m no Karen to begin with but lord above the service was as disgraceful as the the food and I’m not exaggerating, very disappointed, what I was looking forward to was a chicken supreme what I got was a deep fat fryer version of chicken served with a stick of potato??????? A drizzle of.mushroom sauce with absolutely no accompanying veg????? Utterly passionless food and to wait 40mins to get served is just not what you would expect for a premium priced menu… my daughter’s soup was obviously a powdered soup not original and certainly not made from scratch 😡 the gravy you would imagine would have been derived from the juices of any fresh meats cooked fresh but again it was obviously granulated gravy. Well that is that really… utterly disappointing.

27/09/2026: Yummy food, fast and friendly service! We wish we lived closer so we could go there more regularly. Lovely artisan deli attached with massive selection of food, in particular delicious meats and cheeses! Great location just outside Bantry. Yum!!

19/08/2026: The toilet in our room did not flush. The hotel staff came and tried a few times to discover that indeed it didn’t work. The manager managed to flush it and decided it was fine, and since we were told earlier that there are no rooms to move to and they cannot call a plumber to fix it (despite there being issues with that toilet in the last few days)- we had no choice but to stay in a room with a toilet that didn’t flush. Room number is 35 and I would absolutely refuse to stay there. This was beyond disappointing, possibly worst hotel stay I’ve had in two decades or so. Thankfully we stayed only one night.

08/08/2026: Truly Wonderful Stay at Foley’s Townhouse Killarney We had the most wonderful start to August at Foley’s Townhouse Killarney. This was not my first time in Killarney — I am simply in love with the beauty, charm and atmosphere of this town, and this stay made me fall in love with it all over again. Although the hotel was fully booked, the team kindly went the extra mile and offered us a complimentary upgrade to a higher room category. Our room was absolutely beautiful — spacious, bright and filled with sunshine from the large windows. The bed was huge and the mattress incredibly comfortable. Everything was spotless and thoughtfully prepared with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The location is unbeatable, right in the heart of Killarney. Restaurants, attractions and shops are all within a few minutes’ walk, with Dunnes Stores just four minutes away. We were also only a couple of steps from our favourite pub, where we loved listening to traditional Irish music and songs accompanied by guitar. And, of course, the evening eventually turned into dancing and disco! 😊 The jacuzzi bath in our room was another wonderful touch. After long walks and exploring Killarney, it was the perfect way to relax and unwind. Breakfast deserves a special mention. The buffet offered a lovely selection of meats, cheeses, four kinds of yoghurt and many other delicious treats. And then we discovered there was even more — we could also choose from the breakfast menu! I ordered an omelette with cheese and vegetables, and it was honestly the best omelette I have ever had in a restaurant. Delicious, generous, beautifully presented and made with such care. And that is what we loved most about Foley’s Townhouse — you can truly feel that everything is done with heart and attention to detail. There is a warmth and genuine hospitality here that makes you feel special. We really didn’t want to leave. So we won’t say goodbye — we’ll say “until we meet again.” ❤️ Thank you for such a beautiful stay. We are already looking forward to coming back!

21/09/2026: Absolutely delicious Sunday meal! Started with generous portion of pea risotto, then chicken schnitzel, and pavlova for dessert. Every dish was perfect, and the service even more perfect! I was so well looked after by Matthew, Jamie, and Elaine. I will definitely be back!

08/10/2026: Australian Bar Lady was unbelievable. Juggling so many jobs on her own without stress in a busy pub. Food amazing too.

12/09/2026: Brilliant pub, a true locals' bar, with football (English Premier League) and golf on theany screens. Great range of drinks, with craft beer from Kinnegar and Trouble, and keen prices.

20/07/2026: was here for world cup finale and the staff handled adverse circumstances very admirably. shoutout evan(?) who was working bar alone upstairs, he was efficient and also friendly, total champion. not to mention extremely reasonable prices for draught. definitely will be back!

07/10/2026: This establishment is the best restaurant in Cork or perhaps Ireland. Delicious food, amazing staff and great atmosphere every single time I dine here throughout past two decades. Highly recommend if you in the area! Manager Ana is a hospitality superstar and will make sure you will have best experience possible!

09/09/2026: Lovely café with a beautiful interior and a really nice atmosphere. We had breakfast here and were very happy with both the food and the portions — everything was fresh, tasty and definitely not small! The café itself is beautifully decorated, with a stylish and cosy interior that makes you want to stay a little longer. A great place for a delicious and satisfying breakfast. Would definitely recommend!
