08/05/2025: Un an après, nous revenons au Gemeles et c’est le même plaisir retrouvé: un accueil chaleureux, une cuisine délicieuse à base de produits frais et locaux, un service attentif et attentionné, un décor plein de charme ! Excellent rapport qualité prix! Si nous programmons un autre séjour à Galway, c’est sur, nous reviendrons !

10/09/2024: Lovely beef cheeks dinner and my partner had tasty chicken fillet burger. The beef was excellent quality and the chicken was soft and delicious. There was a wedding on there at the time and we weren’t waiting too long to get our food, which is impressive. They serve Guinness 0.0 from cans which was ideal for me driving.

01/09/2024: Loads of parking, nice lawn with tables out the back, Had a Thai chiclen curry with rice and chips €20. Tasty, hot, not too spicy and ample portion size. Excellent service despite it being a Sat evening and us in scruffy hiking gear... Clean and bright interior.

29/04/2025: Ristorante/pab fuori Dublino, troppo distante se non si possiede un mezzo o se non si prende un taxi ma la spesa incide abbastanza, dal centro di Dublino, dal ponte piu famoso "Ha' penny" alla location sono 30 € andata, e 30 € ritorno. Gradevole l'impatto appena arrivati, una struttura a due piani. L'interno: più tradizionale a pianterreno, al 1°piano una grande sala con lunghe tavolate e palchetto per spettacolo ( quest'ultima, la classica "sala turistica"). Possibilità di scelta tra menu di pesce o carne di 3 portate: antipasto, secondo, una fetta di torta alle mele, una caraffa d'acqua dal rubinetto. Scelto il menù di carne al costo di € 64 p.p.+ intrattenimento. L' antipasto era inconsistente: "3 piccole/piccole mousse" di formaggio con sfoglia e un pomodorino e qualche foglia di verdura. ( diciamo che se ci si aspetta un antipasto tipico dublinese non ci siamo proprio, sarebbe stato preferibile dire che il menù è di 2 portate e non di 3 ). Il secondo: "stufato di manzo" e "fetta di torta" buoni. Le bevande escluse. Lo spettacolo al di là delle canzoni e della musica dei musicisti, a tratti più coinvolgente, i ballerini molto ripetitivi. Mi dispiace dirlo ma in centro ci sono proposte sicuramente più valide e convenienti.

27/03/2025: El show fue fantástico, divertido y divertido. La curva es una gran cantidad de interacción con la audiencia y muchos datos interesantes. Los bailarines eran grandes y profesionales. No comimos pero puedes comprar boleto con la cena.

14/05/2025: Having visited a few times in the past, we were more than happy to take our visitors here. Mistake! Embarrassing! One of the Sunday lunch specials, Cod & Chips was not great. Undercooked fish, raw and "wet" batter. No crunch, just slop. This is supposed to be the star of the show...we ordered three of these and they were all similarly miserable. (Chips were great.) The cherry on the top was the staffs' response when notified. "We will advise the kitchen accordingly." When paying the bill, we again mentioned the issue with the fish/batter and were told that "the kitchen is addressing the matter." Great for the next customer, not so great for us!!

29/03/2025: Precioso menú estilo Tapas Los langostinos eran deliciosos y el chef amablemente desgranó para mí como cocina no estaba ocupado en ese momento. Se sirvieron con salsa muy deliciosa y un generoso trozo de brioche. Seguido por el calamar que era una cantidad bastante pequeña, tuve que buscarlo debajo de la cobertura que era muy sabroso sin embargo. Bonita tabla de queso y galletas extra Con todo, una tarde muy agradable

17/05/2025: Great spot, Landlord and staff very welcoming. We dropped in almost by accident blown away with warmth of people generally. Managed to go back the following night for a live music session which was also amazing. Well used spot by locals which is also a good sign.

12/05/2025: We had their Gastro Sticky Wings, Baby Back Ribs, Fish & Chips & of course of pint of Guiness. Food was great, especially the wings. Crispy, juicy and full of flavor! Service was great. Patrick was attentive and friendly, which made our experience even better.

09/05/2025: We ordered food for delivery and an hour and 45 minutes later we called to enquire where it was and were told their system was down and they had just gotten our order and we’d have to wait another 45 minutes. A simple phone call alerting us that there was a problem would’ve saved a lot of aggravation. No sign of a refund as yet. I have a feeling I’ll have to follow up with that too. Very disappointing.
