I meet my Dad here for brunch most Sunday mornings. It's his favourite place as the food is always freshly cooked.

Lovely local pub with a restaurant upstairs. They offer outside seating and have a side room for events. There are always plenty of people from the surrounding area, and the staff is friendly and professional. They also offer a rotating monthly beer option.

We had a parents quiz night for a school fundraiser in the side room. Can’t recommend O’Dwyers enough!! The room was perfect and fit 50+ people with a great atmosphere. Fab staff on the night, the manager and barman were particularly helpful. They did everything they could to make sure the event ran as smoothly as possible. Nothing was a hassle and they were a pleasure to deal with. Food was delicious too! We’ll definitely be back 😃

27/06/2026: We have visited this restaurant several times, and this time we came to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We chose the set menu for two, which included a starter, a main course, and a bottle of wine. The goat cheese salad and the spicy chicken wings were absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the main courses were disappointing. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor, while the pork belly was partly rubbery and quite difficult to chew. On the positive side, the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The restaurant itself is also very cozy, especially during the summer when you can sit by the open terrace windows and enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, while the starters and service were outstanding, we hope the quality of the main courses can be improved, as we have always enjoyed visiting this restaurant.
