O'Dwyers in Dublin

We had a fabulous meal here on Eastern Sunday. They have plenty of seating, a cool looking bar, with a wide choice of drinks and two menus to choose from. What else could you need. We had steak sandwiches and a burger, which were delicious.

Great place for a private party

A room in a pub? Yeah yeah yeah, probably a k**, yeah? N***********o! The owners created a nice outdoor area to the right of the entrance away from the main road, but a doorway at the back brings you to a pub within a pub. A cosy room, away from the main bar, off the corridor to the toilets on the ground floor. Just brilliant. Lovely bar staff, unobtrusive and getting on with their job as a lady of Italian descent, accidentally tests out how champagne glasses bounce! The warmth of the room is reflected in the warmth of the welcome from the staff and owners. Platters were not inexpensive, I understand, but lovely. The Guinness was great, according to the aficionados (including a couple of rugby players!!!). The smithwicks certainly was! Parking outside was ample, accessible too from local Luas stops and buses. Absolutely to be recommended.

Staff were top quality. That ginger fella (think his name is Michael) is an absolute gent and poured a delicious pint of Guinness. Would highly recommend talking to him as he is so charming and respectful🥰

Staff super friendly, went for a few casual pints with the family, was served by Michael and Barra who were extremely friendly and down to earth, both poured an excellent pint of Guinness, couldn’t recommend this pub more

Great pub lovely lounge staff. Had the chicken was v good.
