Flanagan's Restaurant in Dublin

We spontaneously went there one evening during the week without a reservation and got a table right away. The waiter was very friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious with generous portions. We had fish and chips and half a roast chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy.

Meh! Plus, the owner tried to impose a 20% tip on the credit card...

I tried several dishes and they were all good.

Our first experience in Dublin, and we chose this restaurant somewhat randomly on Friday evening upon our arrival. We enjoyed it so much that we returned on Saturday evening. The waitresses made the effort to speak a few words in French to help us communicate. We will gladly return to Flanagan's.

It tasted good and it was entertaining.

Great little place in central Dublin on iconic O'Connell Street. Very attentive, pleasant staff (Deneka was brilliant) and lovely food. Best French toast I've ever had, and I eat it a lot!

Had Irish stew and a Guinness. Service was attentive and efficient, food was good, place was a little run down but the atmosphere was good.

Kind helpful staff and traditional Ireland breakfast was delicious.
