12/04/2025: - stars if possible! I Had dinner early Saturday! Had the C&B tower burger which had no sauce on it! Been to cock and bull a few times and the food always comes out different! Each time different sauce and ingredients! Seriously gone down hill! Staff are the only good thing about this place! I asked for the main game of premier league to be shown on their tvs ! “Did not have the channel” I was told! Like seriously a pub not having sports channels embarrassing! Should have stayed at home! Won’t be back!

26/02/2025: Wow really they couldn't do enough for you from the welcome in to the serving just saying to my partner the coffee normally comes way before your sandwich but omg we got a small pot of coffee hot just to top us us which never happens anywhere. Now forthe sandwiches which we got were fantastic tasty chips and salad also was really enjoyable yummmmy the price was totally fair for what we got will definitely be back when visiting the area again 😋

25/02/2025: Brilliant place for us visiting omg they could not do enough for us we had 2 cappuccinos while waiting for our food and something I never experienced was a little pot of coffee to top up ours just incase we went low on ours while waiting Brilliant it should be done in other places

02/06/2025: Called in on SUNDAY JUNE BANK HOLIDAY for food and we were told that sorry we DON'T serve food on Sunday's. This on the same weekend that bloom is on and also the mini marathon, seems like a good idea not to serve food in a restaurant on the one day that most people eat out . I HOPE IT KEEPS FINE FOR YOU.

31/05/2025: Stopped off here last weekend and was not impressed The quality of the food was very poor for the price, portions were also too small. Staff seated us at the bar even though tables appeared to be available. We will not be returning.

12/05/2025: Fantastic dinner and service. From the minute we walked in, the team did not disappoint. Immediately approached and shown to a table. The bar staff were great and service was quick. Ordered from the special menu on the board which had plenty of choice. Turkey and ham for the parents, perfect portion sizes, husband lamb - thick slices, although he would have preferred the meat to be a little pinker, that’s his preference. He thoroughly enjoyed. Now to bacon, cabbage and spuds with white sauce, my favourite dinner when I return home to Ireland. I have to say they hit the spot perfectly. Thick slices of the boiled bacon, plenty of spuds and cabbage. All ordered pudding and again portions were generous. The girls looked after our table very well and at the same time not in our faces. I highly recommend a trip out for dinner/lunch you won’t be disappointed

24/04/2025: Excelente cena. El personal, las bebidas y la comida eran increíbles. Estuvimos en Escocia la semana pasada e Irlanda esta semana. Durante nuestro viaje probamos 4 lugares diferentes para el pescado con papas fritas y estos fueron los mejores. Nuestro bar tierno (Marta) nos hizo bebidas increíbles. El gerente fue genial. Desde el momento en que trató hasta el momento en que nos fuimos que era muy agradable y se aseguró de que estábamos teniendo un gran tiempo y servicio. Nos alojamos en el Castillo Clontarf y también nos encanta la ubicación, el estilo y la comodidad de las habitaciones. Ojalá pudiéramos quedarnos más tiempo.

13/05/2025: We stopped here to eat on our way to Donegal. The staff were great. They were attentive and quick. We ordered the all day breakfast which was fine but dry. I assume from being under heat lamps to keep the food hot. Everything else was great.

11/06/2025: Awesome pub. Been here a few times on the trip. I’ve seen it dog friendly and kid friendly during the day. Just a great place to grab a pint.
