27/08/2026: I like coming here by bike for coffee and a chocolate brownie. They are delicious. I definitely need to try other items from the menu sometime. A huge plus of this place is the outdoor seating. Of course, it is sometimes hard to find an open table, but that is only because it is a popular spot. The staff is very friendly, and even though it gets quite busy, everything has always gone smoothly. For me, it is an ideal stop during a bike ride to Crosshaven.

16/08/2026: I recently went to Éabha Jones restaurant and was extremely disappointed and unsatisfied by the experience. I was waiting to collect food through their takeaway service in their front room where there is an opening to view the kitchen. I was shocked and appalled to see the chef cleaning leftover dirt off the serving plate by locking his finger and rubbing it against the plate. This happened numerous times which leads me to believe it is a common accurance in the kitchen. This behavior is absolutely unacceptable and highly disturbing. It goes against the health and safety rules and puts customers AT RISK . I am disgusted by this behavior and will not be returning here again after this experience. All staff should be highly trained surrounding health and safety precautions and something as disgusting as this should not occur especially in the food industry!!!

15/08/2026: A very good dinner. Fish dishes (especially sea bass) were well prepared with chorizo ​​and vegetables.

01/04/2026: Delicious vegetarian dishes, a spectacular flat white, friendly people, and it would have been worth stopping here just for the excellent flapjack. Lovely, highly recommended, and a bit off the beaten track from Galway's tourist hotspots in the Latin Quarter!

20/09/2026: Got a table @ 6.30 yesterday evening and was requested to have it back within an hour. Didn't mind that so much as we only planned on having a main course. Food arrived very quickly & was nice enough, expensive for what you get. I had substituted my potatoe for a different type of potaotoe dish & my husband had a pasta dish. The waitress asked if we needed anything & my husband asked for parmezan. When we got the bill we were charged extra for the parmezan & change of potatoes which we felt was a bit cheeky. Put me off and wouldn't be rushing back. Valerie

14/09/2026: We stumbled across AndChips while looking for somewhere to grab takeaway and were so glad we did! The menu had so many great options that we ended up ordering quite a few things. The chips were honestly some of the best I’ve ever had, absolutely delicious, and the fish tacos were so, so good. The service was great too, everyone was really friendly and welcoming. Definitely recommend!

06/09/2026: My first time trying And chips this evening and I will be never going back. My partner got the beef burger which had watery sauce running from the burger the bun was pure socking wet he didn't eat it. I got the chicken burger the minute I held it I felt cold I thought it was the paper around it, no when I opened it the chicken In side was stone cold. I was thinking it was very fast to get my order in under 10 minutes its like the food is already made sitting in side there just waiting for someone to order it. 100% could not have been made fresh. My partner went back in and gave the burger back and got a refund and when he went back in they took back the burger and put it back in to reheat it 🤮 not trowing it away, properly going to serve to someone else.

25/08/2026: Not the cheapest chipper in Dublin but it earns the price. Clean inside with plenty of seating, no squeezing onto a bench with your tray, and the fish itself was properly tasty with a generous portion that actually felt worth what I paid. There's history behind the name too, the The batter was light and the fish flaked apart properly rather than turning to mush. Sure hit the spot. Solid choice if you want a sit-down fish and chips without queuing at one of the more famous spots, and the extra seating room makes it an easy stop if you're eating with more than one or two people.

23/08/2026: The place is never open. Shutters are always down even on weekends. Very poor business hours. Was here today Saturday 1pm during the day closed. Was here the Saturday before that at 7pm also closed. I tried the food here once and enjoyed it just don’t be surprised if the shutters are down when you arrive. Strange place!

24/07/2026: Just had a beef kebab as a special !! Lads this did not disappoint😍

11/10/2026: Good food (presentation, portion size and taste). Service does not stand proportionately. Distracted waitresses. The food says: restaurant, but the service says: crowded bar. If you are hungry, you will eat well, but if you are looking to feel that you are paid attention to, that restaurant experience is not there. Effort is appreciated and I really think there is a lot of potential here. Thanks!
