15/06/2026: Was there this morning my husband got pancakes and bacon not good I got the rhubarb merangue which had hardly any rhubarb and was more like an Eton Mess with a squirt of rhubarb. We were waiting nearly half an hour to be served. Overall, not a very good experiance

13/06/2026: Nicely decorated, revamped and refurbished. Young modern look to it and young staff. Plenty of outdoor and indoor dining space. Very popular for coffee. Attracts all age groups. Limited lunch and brunch menu, but tasty. I had the big hot breakfast, delicious and big, two of everything. Would recommend offering a smaller helping also - a Cub Scout's breakfast maybe. My companion had a tasty fish and chips. Nice coffee and limited desserts, sold out of most sweet things. Busy on a sunny Saturday afternoon. Some seats had a lovely sea view. Will visit the place again on a quieter midweek day. Well done to Sabrina and staff. Tús maith, leath na hoibre.

03/10/2025: Tried out the Pepper Mill after a local recommendation. Found it clean, friendly staff and food was great. Coffee was nice too. Will be back.

12/04/2026: Love meal here last week to celebrate a 60th. Great food and a suberb waitress in Tara. She was quick, professional and funny. She was just great. My fish and chips was just scrummy.

23/03/2026: Not a bad spot, food is reasonable, prices are ok too. Parking is on street. It is a bit dark inside, but it's not a problem. I had veg soup (which was very nice) with a Caesar salad and chips. Portion size was very big. Staff are chatty and friendly, it tends to get busier in the evenings with families coming in for food. I will certainly return.

17/05/2026: Great cozy place! Good selection of drinks! Delicious, but the menu is "like everyone else's." Very clean, good service. A great spot for birdwatching.

16/05/2026: Wonderful, kind and friendly service, and the food is excellent as well. It’s a bit more expensive than usual (comparable to the Temple Bar district in Dublin), but the price-performance ratio is absolutely fair. Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through!

30/04/2026: Lovely set-up with each table in an alcove on its own or 1 other table so nice atmosphere and easy to hold conversation. Service was a bit slow because they were sooo busy. Starters.. scallops and the chicken wings were lovely. Mains weren't as good (ribs and lamp shanks) ribs a bit tough, lamb shank could have had more flavor in the gravy. Desert..bread and butter pudding really stogy and not nice. Would I return? Probably not...

22/03/2026: Gorgeous food, seem to have a new menu now and it was amazing. Got the chicken pot pie and the roast dinner, sticky toffee pudding and bread and butter pudding and it was all amazing. Probably the nicest bread and butter pudding I've had. Staff are lovely too.

24/05/2026: On 24.05.2026 ordered a pizza to go. The taste was great, ingredients were fresh, staff very friendly and helpful. But on my pizza I found a small stone which nearly broke my teeth. Quite unexpected and disappointing.

23/05/2026: Stoped on on the way home from Dublin, after a day out with the family. Very very busy. Place looked short staffed to me (only 4 I could see working during a busy rush) Family and I placed our orders on the kiosks. After a bit of a wait (which was understandable considering how busy the place was), finally got our food. The shakes my kids had wanted weren't delivered. Guy said the machine wasnt working and gave us refillable drinks in its place. However, no refund was offered of the premium paid for the shakes. Got to he table, and realised one of the orders didn't have its chips, nor did we get any of the kids toys (which they have you select on the kiosk) Also, one of this kids wanted a juice, as they don't drink fizzy drinks, still only got a refillable cup. Wife had to go up to her the order corrected. They handed out the missing chips. When wife tried to bring up the juice box and ask about a refund for the shake premium, she was dismissed. I had to go up then after to get the juice box, still no mention of why the kids meals had no toys and wouldn't hear me out about the shakes. I did notice ice-cream going out to other guests. So we're we told it wasn't working because we ordered more than one and they deemed they were too busy? No explanation. I don't know. Just a terrible way to finish the day. Left a sour taste in all our mouths.

01/06/2026: Cozy, quaint, and simply a Dublin original. Huge selection of beers and drinks, delicious breakfast, and hearty pub specialties. The service is always friendly and quick. Just what you want. Go there and feel at home. Take some time to soak up the atmosphere.
