Rudys Restaurant in Dublin

We have visited this restaurant several times, and this time we came to celebrate our 15th wedding anniversary. We chose the set menu for two, which included a starter, a main course, and a bottle of wine. The goat cheese salad and the spicy chicken wings were absolutely delicious and definitely the highlight of the meal. Unfortunately, the main courses were disappointing. The chicken was dry and lacked flavor, while the pork belly was partly rubbery and quite difficult to chew. On the positive side, the service was excellent. The staff were very friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. The restaurant itself is also very cozy, especially during the summer when you can sit by the open terrace windows and enjoy the atmosphere. Overall, while the starters and service were outstanding, we hope the quality of the main courses can be improved, as we have always enjoyed visiting this restaurant.

Skinny fries with garlic sauce are the best!

Such a lovely little experience. All more than pleasant. We were sold on how they welcome and embrace dogs but Mia was the star of the show minding us and our mutt so well.

Disappointed. Wanted to treat myself for lunch, I ordered eggs Benedict. The service was very slow (it took more than 20 mins) and the dish very disappointing. The hollandaise sauce was very watery, looked more like egg yoks, and didn't have any taste.

Was working next door today and got such a lovely surprise—one of the team kindly brought me over a coffee and later a bagel with poached egg and salmon, which was unreal. Everything tasted super fresh and clearly made with care. Erik was especially sound and really looked after me. I dropped in afterwards to return the dishes and the place itself is really cozy with a great atmosphere, and everyone there was genuinely friendly. A gem of a spot. Thank you 😊😊

It's a very pleasant restaurant with a small menu. The menu has a reasonable number of options. There are only one or two different choices for meat and fish. Overall, I liked it. Food good, one server on for lunch so was slow and felt was always calling back. Prawns ok but not fresh
