We happened to eat at The Roost for lunch one day during our holiday in Ireland. The welcome, service, and food were delicious. The vegetarian burger and its sides were excellent! The waitress was very friendly (and I'm not just saying that because she's French 😉).

Went for a quick drink with my daughter early afternoon. Great location in Maynooth and wonderful staff. Young lady behind bar was excellent and provided great service. Well worth a visit!

08/09/2026: Ah guys, just book your table. We just got served dressed chips and a greedy burger, and the food is outstanding. We arrived a bit early but the staff accommodated us perfectly. Highly recommended place.

However, the restaurant's cleanliness was somewhat lacking; there were cobwebs on the ceiling, the wallpaper was peeling significantly, and a lot of dust was clearly visible."
