We happened to eat at The Roost for lunch one day during our holiday in Ireland. The welcome, service, and food were delicious. The vegetarian burger and its sides were excellent! The waitress was very friendly (and I'm not just saying that because she's French 😉).

Great pint of Guinness with friendly staff. Pint was just right - no cold glass or leaving it too long- just perfect 👌

Went for a quick drink with my daughter early afternoon. Great location in Maynooth and wonderful staff. Young lady behind bar was excellent and provided great service. Well worth a visit!

03/10/2026: I went with a big group and our booking was not on their book, but staff managed to host us in the end and we all had a great experience in the end.

Stone Haven Restaurant

16/09/2026: We had the steak served on a hot stone, which was delicious and very generously portioned. Furthermore, the service was excellent. However, the restaurant's cleanliness was somewhat lacking; there were cobwebs on the ceiling, the wallpaper was peeling significantly, and a lot of dust was clearly visible."
27/08/2026: Great steaks and reasonable price!
