Had a family dinner on Friday, the staff accommodated every request and the service was excellent. The food was delicious also.

I gave this restaurant a five rating because when we ordered they had a nice selection of food and everybody loved the food and when we finished the food we had dessert and the atmosphere was nice there were pictures and little candles it was lovely

We don't go out eating often, but the Stone Haven is second to none from the friendly service and professional friendly staff to the fantastic food we were served , I would highly recommend it's cost atmosphere is beautiful.i had the chicken stir fry main my wife Turkey and Ham , Beautiful , starter breaded mushrooms and wings highly recommend ,

Clean plates for everyone - a compliment to the chef! The variety on the menu was tested by our party of 17 - from teriyaki salmon to duck, pasta, cajun chicken, stirfry and pasta dishes and even lamb meant there was something for everyone. We were very well looked after by Roisin and Theo (thanks for taking our photos). We will be back :-).

Went early in the day but despite being quiet service was very slow. Given table quickly but long wait to order food and even longer wait to get drinks that were ordered. Kitchen was fine and food gorgeous but server was switched off. Left with empty glasses and on checked in once at the end despite only two other small groups there.

13/08/2026: Went there hungry and hot, needed a good meal and a cold drink... they didn't disappoint! Was recommended this Gastrobar by a local, said the food would be good and the drinks cold, they were not lying. The portion size was decent and the prices really reasonable. Had a McMahons special with ribs and wings, and a pint of cider... my favourite cider here in Ireland when I visit! Photos dont really do it justice but it was fabulous all round. Look forward to the winter time when I visit again and see it more cosy and enjoy the sights and sounds of Maynooth! Lovely location but recommend taking an uber into town rather than parking as there is a 1hr limit. Good value for money and lovely meal.
