Wow steak on the stone simply amazing, just a little note can be quite smokey in restaurant

I could fault nothing with the food it was gorgeous. The service on the other hand was awful. When the manager was there the service was fine. Once she left however it was another thing entirely. All members of staff disappeared completely for about half an hour. We could have walked out without paying and no one would have noticed. Then all waiting staff congregated up at reception and every table had to go to them to pay their bill. Took half an hour to take a desert order. We would make sure if we were going back to go earlier so the manager is there and the staff would actually want to work.

Superb 10oz fillet steak on bed of mushrooms and onions, and chips were great. Would have been better with something like a red wine sauce but that wasn't available. Sort of underground so feels a bit enclosed. Cold weather so had to eat inside but looks like there's an outside area. Service decent.

Great restaurant. Super food and service in a basement with not great air conditioning so be prepared to have your clothes smell like dinner. Everything else was great.
